TRINITY MONROE:
Are you ready for another round?
She chuckles, flipping her hair.
TRINITY MONROE:
I am back! And i sure didn't think I was going to be here. After last season i was sure i was done. But like they say, money talks. And I won't lie, the network was very gracious with their offer. Obviously i was doing something right. So here I am.
Things have been bananas since you last saw me. I recently launched “The Trinity”, which is a makeup line for women of color. You know we have so many, yet we still struggle with finding our perfect shades. I've worked really hard with my team to try and create something for everyone.
I've also started filming the second season of STAR of Fox. I've had to kind of put the brakes on my styling business but when i can, your girl is still open for business.
As you all know i am now a very single woman. I haven't spoken to Zeno or Dallas, and I like it that way. But I don't miss the dating scene. It's definitely been colorful. But i can say i may have met a guy that has my interest right now. But we'll leave it at that for now.
The scene fades back to Trinity who is shown throwing on a robe. She walks out of her bedroom down the stairs and to the front door. When the door swings open, Trinity’s sister Serenity Porter is shown standing on the outside. Trinity rolls her eyes.
TRINITY MONROE:
What are you doing here?
Trinity looks down and notices that her sister has luggage on the ground.
TRINITY MONROE:
Hell no!
Trinity attempts to close the door. Serenity rushes to block it.
SERENITY PORTER:
Wait! Wait! Just hear me out! It's only for the weekend.
TRINITY MONROE:
For what? Why are you in Atlanta? I thought you moved to LA.
SERENITY PORTER:
I did. But, there's a music audition here that i know i can ace! I could finally get signed man! It's only for the weekend! Please! Hook your sister up! You won't. even know i'm here.
Trinity rolls her eyes, letting Serenity in.she hugs her and comes in. The two make their way toward the kitchen.
TRINITY MONROE:
Serenity is my sister. And the only person in my family that I actually still keep in contact with. My family has never accepted my transition. For a long time, everybody tried to walk around it, pretend it wasn't happening, until eventually we just started ignoring each other completely. Of course most of them tried to come around after i became successful. They were the type that would feed paparazzi stories to get a coin, but wouldn't call and ask how I was doing. Serenity was different. She's always known and accepted me for me. But even we barely see each other or talk on the phone. She moved to LA a few years ago chasing her dreams, and i supported her. Our schedules never seemed to match so eventually both of us kinda just stopped trying. Im kinda happy to see her here. I won't lie. But she could have called ahead. I do not so well with surprise pop ups in my palace.
The scene returns to the kitchen. Trinity is shown standing at the refrigerator. Serenity is seated at the bar.
TRINITY MONROE:
You hungry?
SERENITY PORTER:
If that means you are about to whip up something. Then i am starving!
TRINITY MONROE:
Of course. So girl tell me about this audition.
Trinity begins preparing a meal
SERENITY PORTER:
There's this new music show coming in BET and they're holding auditions. I could've waited until they came to L.A. but I'm tryna be in there. Trini i know I can do this.
TRINITY MONROE:
My sister can sing. She can sing her ass off and she's hungry. She could've easily come to me and asked me to use my connections. But she wanted to do this on her own? And I was proud of her. So if she needed to crash at my place for a few days to chase her dreams, i guess i could let her.
She pauses
TRINITY MONROE:
But only for a few days!
She chuckles as the scene fades back to the kitchen. Trinity is at the stove cooking and chatting with her sister.
SERENITY PORTER:
Soooooo have you talked to mommy and d-
TRINITY MONROE:
Girl bye! You already know the answer to the answer to that question.
SERENITY PORTER:
I just wish yall would talk. Yall used to be so close.
TRINITY MONROE:
I already told you girl the need to let go of their dreams of their precious son coming home. Girl Trenton Barton is dead. When they can respect that, then we can talk. Now can we talk about something else.
SERENITY PORTER:
I just-
TRINITY MONROE:
Serenity! No! Those people will not get my energy! I do not want to talk about them in my house! That's it! Just stop!
TRINITY MONROE:
I know my sister had good intentions. But some things are just better left where they are. I love my parents. I always will. But I have to love them from a distance.
The scene returns to the two.
TRINITY MONROE:
Look. I'm sorry. But some things just… were tried so many times girl. There is no getting through to them. You know that. Can we just move on from this conversation
Serenity sighs
SERENITY PORTER:
Fine! But i really think y'all should talk
The two continue talking as the scene fades and reopens inside of Giovanni’s apartment. Giovanni is shown putting items always while Miles is shown sitting on the couch looking through some photos.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
What's good World, it's your boy Giovanni aka GIO. Popping up on the scene trying to get my story heard, Amway. I’m originally from Atlanta but moved when I was in Highschool out to Chicago for a little bit to stay with my father. Once I graduated I went to LA to pursue a modelling career but ended up back in Atlanta. I guess you couldn't keep this peach away.
Giovanni laughs.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I just moved into my new place, finally got my furniture set up and thought about throwing a little get together. I know a few people here but not many so my plan was to invite as many people I'm knew and then have my friends invite their own friends. I asked Miles to stop by, we've been cool a few years now and met awhile ago during a fashion event. He blogs for different magazines and fashion companies and mingles with a lot of the elite and the big spenders of Atlanta.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Hey world, it's Miles Mr. Fashion God, if you don't know then you fashion dumb. Anyway I've worked with some of the biggest names in the fashion and model industry and I’m on my way to be one of the biggest icons in fashion history. Anyway currently I've been living in Atlanta setting up a pop up shop to sell designer clothes and also some of my fashion work. I wanted to catch up with Giovanni, I heard he finally moved back to Atlanta so I wanted to be the first to welcome him back to the South.
The scene cuts back to Miles and Giovanni.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
It only took me two days to unpack everything, I'm surprised.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I was getting ready to say when I walked in it looked like you've been living here for months. I'm so happy you're here though.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I didn't expect for me get her so soon but when opportunity calls I had to jump on it. Plus I've been seeing this guy for a few weeks no, well actually months and he was kind of the reason I decided to make this move too.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I remember you telling me about a guy but you've been so secretive about him.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I'm still feeling him out, trying to see if this thing can really be serious. Understand my main reason of moving back here was because of the work, he was just a bonus. If it doesn't work then shit happens, but it won't stop my work.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Right don't let anything stop your coin, but I want to meet this guy friend of yours.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Well that's another reason I'm happy you stopped by, I kind of need your help. I wanted to throw a party here, you know a housewarming and kind of like a welcome back party.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Ok I'm listening.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Well I'm inviting my dude and some of my other friends, he’s inviting his and I was hoping you would come and bring some of your friends with you since you kind of a big deal here.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
That's what happens when you're a local celebrity. Anyway I don't mind asking a few people to stop by.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
But there is one thing I have to mention, I did ask Asantè to come.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I just caught a whole attitude right now, I don't understand why we need to have her at this party. Me and that girl have history and it's not pretty, I started dating one of her exes and she couldn't handle the fact that he moved on, she tried to slander my name and get me banned from all major fashion events.
Miles rolls his eyes, flipping his hair back, he looks into the camera.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
The funny thing is i didn't even know he was her ex until we all bumped into each other at an event and she acted a damn fool. And since then she has never reached out or even apologize for her actions and that is the reason why I do not associate with trash.
The scene fades back to Miles and Giovanni.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I don't mind being in the same environment as her, I'm not that petty and if she wants to have a conversation then I’m open to it. It's just funny she decides to wait until all this time to want to speak. And I've tried to be cordial with her in the past, were all In this together and should be able to get money together.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
And I agree, every time I've ever been around her and your name is mentioned she's always said good things about you.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Publicly yes, but behind closed doors that's a different story especially when you're leaking information to the press or bashing someone else. It never stopped my money though.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I want you to understand that you both are my friends so there's no shade behind this at all.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
The fact you're telling me shows me respect, it would have been different if i was blindsided. I never had an issue with her but I think after what happened and the fact that she was badmouthing me is what turned me off to her. I felt like she was bitter her man left her and really lived his life, granted the way it happened sucked but that's life.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
It's in the past so let's leave it there, I want us all to be able to get along and with me dating this new guy I just think it would be dope if everyone just got along.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
The things I do for friendship. But is there anyone else I should be worried about?
GIOVANNI WESTON:
That I don't know, because my dude is bringing his friends so I'm hoping everyone is going to click.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Boy you are asking for trouble.
The two laugh and continue talking and the scene switches Chanel Snow finishing up one of her acts on a nightclub stage. The crowd goes crazy as Chanel Snow lip syncs to Still Down by H.E.R. the music flies in the air as Chanel continues the sing. The song ends and Chanel collects her money, waving to the audience and making her way towards the back.
CHANEL SNOW:
The star is back bitches, booked and busy as ever. Yes I'm still making my little club appearances as the haters would say but still collecting these checks and building my brand. I see these girls still mad though but I won't let that bother me though. I just finished another booked night in Atlanta and I had Isaiah and Legend meet me after I was finished so we could catch up and grab some food.
Chanel smiles.
CHANEL SNOW:
Isaiah and I have become real close over these last few months, like his loyalty is the best and I can always count on him being in my corner and as for Legend, we've had our differences in the past but as adults we were able to put that aside and move on, so yes we are trying to be trying to be friends.
The scene fades backstage where Chanel, Isaiah, and Legend are shown all sitting around. Chanel is shown counting her money while Isaiah plays around on his phone.
CHANEL SNOW:
I just made a 10k booking fee and $1200 in tips, and these girls say I'm not working.
LEGEND DIOR:
Let them talk, but damn 10 thousand?
ISAIAH WOLFE:
She got money.
CHANEL SNOW:
And Miss Trinity thought I was tripping off that 5k she owe me, baby I get money. I shouldn't have to prove to anyone I stay booked and busy, these other girls lurk on Twitter trying to keep up with Miss Snow honey.
LEGEND DIOR:
I think the whole beef is pointless though and now I hear they mad at me because I'm hanging with y'all. I said in the beginning i was friends with everyone I wasn't choosing sides because it wasn't my battle.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I honestly think the back and forth is dumb though, I try my hardest not to entertain it but they seem so mad when we're not even thinking about them. But anyway the issue I'm having is I have a friend who is throwing a party and I think they'll be there.
CHANEL SNOW:
Who is this friend?
ISAIAH WOLFE:
He's just a friend Chanel, don't be nosey.
LEGEND DIOR:
Every time we hang out you bring up this friend but won't say any names, and how does he know everyone?
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I don't know for sure but he’s mutual friends with our friends and people we know so I'm guess they'll be there too. All I'm saying is this night is important to him and I don't want to ruin it for him if there's any drama.
CHANEL SNOW:
I feel like you're trying to tell us to behave. I'm grown I don't need a lecture on how to act. I can be in the same room with the bum gang but if they try me then I will react on their asses. I think if anyone should be lectured on mannerisms is them, not me.
LEGEND DIOR:
I still want to know who this friend is, shit I want to make sure i ain't hit because you know these niggas ain't shit.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
Really Legend?
LEGEND DIOR:
What? I'm just saying, I've caught a couple bodies while being here girl I just want to make sure.
CHANEL SNOW:
Y'all are silly, let's go get some food.
LEGEND DIOR:
Yes, and it's your treat.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I was nervous about my friend party, I knew this was important to him, it was important to us. It was like our introduction to the world as a couple, our friends meeting each other and everyone just connecting. I didn't want any drama. But I know recently with all the back and forth on Twitter between Chanel and Jaser and with me being involved I'm sure with them both being at the party it can be a problem.
Isaiah shrugs.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I just hope that on that night we can just have fun, because if they cause a problem then they'll have to deal with me and I'm talking about both parties.
The scene cuts back to Isaiah, Chanel, and Legend.
LEGEND DIOR:
Well at least we’ll finally get to meet Isaiah’s mystery man, have some drinks, hear some good music and hell I might find me a man too.
CHANEL SNOW:
What about Dallas?
LEGEND DIOR:
That was a two time thing, nothing more and plus I don't have time for his alcoholic ass. That man has issues that he needs to take care of first.
CHANEL SNOW:
Well I'm sure Zeno and Trinity introduced him to that lifestyle, they all have addictions over there.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
Whoa chill Chanel.
CHANEL SNOW:
I mean I'm just saying, the truth is the truth. And honestly I wouldn't be a friend if I didn't tell him that he shouldn't go down that route with Dallas. They're all miserable over there and he could do a lot better.
LEGEND DIOR:
He was a fun time, that was it. He's damaged goods and I don't have time for that. If we see each other out I'll wave and keep it pushing.
CHANEL SNOW:
And it's not like everyone in Atlanta hasn't heard the rumors, so it is what it is. There's so much more to life than the company we have around us, I only want good vibes and good people around me.
CHANEL SNOW:
I know it wasn't right to blast Dallas alcohol problem out but it's not like the streets weren't already talking about it. I mean the last time we were all In a room together he was drunk as hell. But he was involved in a drug and alcohol filled relationship with two other people, once that ended he went downhill from there. I'm not judging the man, I'm helping him realize he has an issue from a person looking in from the outside. Everyone notices it!
The scene fades back to the three talking.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I don't know too much about that, but Jalen was hanging around him and he never mentioned Dallas having an alcohol problem.
LEGEND DIOR:
That's so tacky because Jalen is still messing with his ex, but he got mad at me for hooking up with Dallas. I know Jalen will be at this party because I'm sure Isaiah invited him since that's his friend and I hope Jalen keeps it cute, I see his little subtweets on Twitter but he needs to know I'm about that life.
CHANEL SNOW:
Y'all always on some rah rah fight shit, but I can't talk because I do too. Look we all got our personal issues with each other in this group and with this new people coming around we just need to stay focused and not let the drama get the best of us.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I just said that girl.
CHANEL SNOW:
Oh shit, well I told y'all I was hungry. My mind playing tricks on me because I need some food so can we go.
The three laugh as they start gathering their things, the scene fades reopening inside of a studio apartment. Clothes are shown thrown all over the place. Cameras pan to the bedroom area. Season newcomer Blair Wood is shown on the floor doing push ups.
BLAIR WOOD:
What's good world. It's your boy, Blair. Atlanta bread musician and model. At least that's where I'm trying to go. I've been booking small commercials and shoots here and there, and performing at local venues in my city. But I'm trying to take my career to the next level. I like modeling. Its cool but my main goal is to get my music a little closer to mainstream. I'm ready to get out of my tiny apartment.
The scene returns to his apartment. There is a knock at the door. Blair hops up and jogs to the door.
BLAIR WOOD:
Who is it.
It's me boy! Open the door!
He smirks as he unlocks the door to open it, revealing LaLa StClair on the opposite side of the door.
LALA STCLAIRE:
Hey boo!
BLAIR WOOD:
Damn mami! Look at you looking like a whole snack.
LALA STCLAIRE::
What's good world! It's your girl Lala! You may not know too much about me yet. But you will soon.
She poses, blowing a kiss to the camera.
LALA STCLAIRE::
I've been making my mark in the entertainment industry. My popularity grew because I'm a transgender woman dominating in this industry. I've worked with rappers. You've seen me in music videos. And I've probably made your man's dick hard at one point. But most of them wouldn't openly admit it. You know. Cuz I'm a little different. But that's neither here nor there. The coin isn't stopped and that's what matters. My growing popularity on instagram got me a call from Angelica Ward. Her work speaks for itself, so when she called me to talk business, of course i answered. And now you can say hello to So Angelics first transgender angel baby!
Thes scene returns to the apartment.
BLAIR WOOD:
Bring ya sexy ass in here girl! Damn you lookin good!
He invites her in, spinning her around admiring her
BLAIR WOOD:
i didn't really know too much about the whole transgender thing. And to be honest i still consider myself a straight man. I live women. I always will but i met Trinity a while back, and she showed me a whole new kind of woman. She and i didn't work out but i understood. She wanted somebody that was already altogether. She didn't want a work in progress but i can only respect that and i wish her the best. Right now, i got my eye on this new chick. Lala, we hung out a few times and hit it off. Ain't saying I'm ready to lock it down just yet. But i could definitely see myself spending some more time with her.
The scene returns to the apartment. The two are shown cuddled on the couch. Lala looks around the apartment and frowns her face.
LALA STCLAIRE::
Boy you need to clean this mess up!
BLAIR WOOD:
Well if somebody told me they was sliding through i woulda picked shit up.
LALA STCLAIRE::
I shouldn't have to tell you to clean. I feel like I'm back at somebody college dorm.
BLAIR WOOD:
Oh yeah?Well lemme take you back to the room lil ma! I always keep that clean. Just put fresh sheets on the bed too. Smelling like downy and shit.
LALA STCLAIRE::
Blair is different from anyone I've ever messed with. I'm used to ballers. Niggas with some coins. I like to be spoiled. I've grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle and I'm not too sure he can keep up with that. But after you're used to dealing with the same kinda dudes, you wanna try something different. I see he's hungry. He's really pushing toward his dreams and he's doing it on his own. He's up in this tiny lil closet so he can afford studio time. And i like that about him. And maybe i could even help him a little bit. I have my connections in the industry.
The scene returns to the apartment
LALA STCLAIRE::
That's all you think about. You don't ever get tired do you?
BLAIR WOOD:
Nah ma! I thought you liked that tho?
LALA STCLAIRE::
And i do. But before we get to that, I got some news for you.
BLAIR WOOD:
What's good? I hope it's not bad news.
LALA STCLAIRE::
No no! It's actually good news. So I know you been working real hard, tryna put this music out and get signed and all that.
BLAIR WOOD:
No doubt. But what that gotta do wit your news?
LALA STCLAIRE::
Well you know I also have a few connects in the industry. So i just might have a producer that agreed to meet with you, get you some studio time. And if he likes you. He just might sign you.
BLAIR WOOD:
How am i supposed to pay for that kind of studio time. You know I aint rockin wit that kinda cash right now.
LALA STCLAIRE::
Who said anything about money? He's doing this as a favor to me.
Blair grunts, pushing Lala off of him
BLAIR WOOD:
Is this a dude you fucking? Yo I'm not bout to take no handouts from no nigga who smashing you.
She rolls her eyes, punching him in the chest.
LALA STCLAIRE::
What kinda bitch you think I am nigga?
BLAIR WOOD:
Yo. Why else is a nigga giving some random ass nigga some studio time . Especially not no big shot producer. For free?
LALA STCLAIRE:
First of all. NO! I'm not fuckin him! Yea I worked a few of his events but you knew what my job description was when you met me. Second of all. Is there a ring on my finger? I don't think so. So until there is you don't get to question what I'm doing. Last I checked you weren't even ready for nothing serious. Don't go to the producer. That's fine. I'm not trying to get signed. You are!
He smirks, pulling her in and kissing her on her lips.
BLAIR WOOD:
Yo you so fucking feisty. I love that shit. Damn!
He kisses her all over her face and neck. Lala giggles
BLAIR WOOD:
I'm just fuckin wit you ma. I'll meet the producer. I can help but get a lil jealous yo. I know these dudes be on you, and i know they can do more for you than i can right now. I be nervous wit you around these niggas. All this supposed to be mine.
LALA STCLAIRE::
It will be yours when you make it yours. But until that happens, focus on your music. Thats whats important.
BLAIR WOOD:
You right ma. You got that. you right. But you know what important now?
LALA STCLAIRE::
I bet you're gonna tell me.
BLAIR WOOD:
It's me and you here right now ma. Now come here.
He leans over picking her up, planting kisses on her neck. He then walks her to the bedroom closing the door behind him as it cuts to another cast members confessional
RILEY: ...On ya pulse like it's EDM. Gas in this bitch like it's premium. Haul ass on a bitch all in the fast lane, been a bad bitch way before any cash came, I'm established, hundred karats in my ring, run-
Riley stops taking in a deep breath and laughing.
RILEY: Shit I always run out of breath on that part. But wassup y'all! Back for a second season and I just…
He rolls his eyes.
RILEY:
...Where the first season brought a lot of bad and annoyance, it also brought a lot of good for me too. I got to work with a lot more people due to the exposure and it led me to be a part of the Insecure soundtrack. I also got a platinum plaque for a song I produced and co-wrote.
he flashes his shirt with “LOYALTY.” across the chest and did a thumbs up to the camera.
RILEY:
Hopefully the first of many to come. And I was lucky enough to meet the dude named Lee Quinn. Some of our work ended up in each others hands and we meet up and just clicked. He's twenty-six and has more experience so I've been learning from him too.
he shrugs flashing a smile before it cuts to show Riley in the booth cutting a demo with Lee on the mixing board.
RILEY:
...the fighting and the yelling gets us nowhere / but arguing’s the only way you'll stay here / so I jump start our wars. You keep me torn. I give you waaarmth. One sided when I choose to spill my feelings / emotionless, I act like I don't see it, you keep me hangin’ oooon- wait! Cut it. I started off too high, I meant to build up to it.
LEE:
It was good. It's just rough cut of the track anyway, so she'll probably change a few things around. Who's this even about? That Khaleel dude?
it cuts to Riley's confessional.
RILEY:
That's another positive of the first season. I was able to finally cut Khaleel off. But I still feel a lot of emotions about all the shit I went through with him so I've been writing to get all that out and being honest with myself and open about everything that went down with him and with everything I feel has been important to me. It's like my therapy.
it cuts bank to the studio.
RILEY:
Yeah. I'm still working him out my system. You know he called me the other day wanting to take me to lunch.
LEE:
What you tell him?
RILEY:
I didn't even answer the phone. He left a message. I was with you at the time so I couldn't really do anything about it.
LEE:
Aw, damn. So I'm rebound dick?
RILEY:
I mean, that's YOU trying to put a name on it.
they share a laugh before it cuts to his confessional
RILEY:
He's been a uhm… big help in a lot of ways with keeping me focus and keeping my mind off certain things. And I admit, even though it's business between us there is a side of pleasure and I initiated it. I mean...he fine!
he lets out a laugh as it cuts back
LEE:
Just get back to this song so we can send it in on time. Then I'll take you out to lunch or something. Fat ass want Popeyes, don't you?
RILEY:
Fuck you, you don't know me.
he slips those headphones back on knowing good and well Lee was right. They got back to their music as the scene fades and reopens inside of Jalen’s apartment. Jalen is shown lying on the couch in the living room. He picks the remote control up and starts flipping through the channels on the TV.
JALEN HOLMES:
My summer has been hella crazy, I've been busy doing shows, walking runways and trying to really make an imprint in the fashion industry. So my professional life is at it's highest while my personal life has been at it's lowest.
Jalen sighs.
JALEN HOLMES:
Trapp and I still can't get it right and as for Dallas, I heard he's been kicking it with Legend lately which I find so amusing but that's none of my business. Earlier this year Trapp moved in with me until he could find a place of his own. His plan was to move here to Atlanta from Philly to kind of start over.
Jalen pauses, he shakes his head.
JALEN HOLMES:
But recently he found an apartment a couple streets down from my house and since he moved out I haven't really seen much of him. Now at first I was bothered by the situation but lately I've been bothered by it. Trapp did reach out to me today asking if we could meet up, so I told him to stop by.
The scene fades back to Jalen inside of his apartment. Jalen is shown getting up from the couch and answering the door, Trapp walks in closing the door behind him. Trapp walks over the couch where Jalen went back to sit and sits down behind him.
JALEN HOLMES:
How have you been?
TRAPP:
I've been good forreal, just been working and trying to make a living out here, this is nothing like Philly.
JALEN HOLMES:
Nah it's not, I do miss home sometimes. Anyway, I miss you Trapp.
TRAPP:
You say that now but you out here fucking this clown, like you think I should be ok with that?
JALEN HOLMES:
I never said you had to be okay with it, it was a difficult time for me yo, and you really wasn't fucking with me either so what did you expect me to do.
TRAPP:
I expected you to ride for a nigga like how I rode for you. You got me out here in the streets looking like a fucking fool.
TRAPP:
Jalen knew exactly what to do to get under my skin, he knew fucking with this nigga would only bring the worst out of me, the jealousy out of me. I've been messing with this dude for years, he's seen me at my worst.
Trapp shakes his head.
TRAPP:
But since I've moved here I don't have time to deal with Jalen or his little prostitute friend, I'm here to work, make money and better my life. So if Jalen wants to play these games then he can go play them with Mr. Reed and stop fucking my life up.
The scene cuts back to Trapp and Jalen.
JALEN HOLMES:
I just want to make it right, I just don't feel loved by you anymore Trapp. Like I just don't know what to do anymore, you have such a hold on me I'm so afraid of losing you. Maybe I've already lost you, I just don't know.
Trapp can see the hurt spilling from Jalen’s body, Trapp stands there trying to keep his guard up but notices the tears forming in Jalen’s eyes. Trapp walks over to Jalen grabbing him and holding him in his arms.
TRAPP:
I got you Jalen, believe me when I say that.
Trapp continues to hold Jalen as the scene fades, to a top floor loft in the city of Atlanta. Cameras pan around the appartment bachelor pad before fading into the living room area. Trazeno Barnes is shown in a pair of gray sweatpants with no shirt on, dancing to Perplexing Pegasus by Rae Sremmurd blasting through the surround sound system.
TRAZENO BARNES:
What is good Atl! Ya boy Trizzy is back! Season two baby! It's a blessing! Yo i didn't know if they wanted us back for another season. But i got the call and heard it was lit. So i was on it!.
A lot has changed for the kid since you saw me last. Ive since moved into my lil bachelor pad. And I'm loving it. When i split with Trinity, I got my shit out quick, and i was living out of a hotel. But i finally found something in my price range that i loved and here i am. Living like a king. And digging the single life.
Gigs have definitely multiplied for ya boy. I had the chance to model overseas for GQ magazine and that was too dope. I've been booking a few small commercials. But I'm trying to break into television. Maybe eventually some movies. I booked an agent and she suggested i start taking some acting classes. She linked me up with someone named Porter. He had a studio downtown but he also did house calls. So i called him up and set up an appointment. Hopefully he can help me prepare myself for these auditions i got coming up
The scene fades back to the loft. There is a knock on the door. Zeno dances toward the door. He opens the door to see Porter standing with his messanger bag over his shoulder. He eyes Zeno up and down, clearly admiring the view. Zeno smirks, inviting him in
TRAZENO BARNES:
Ay. Whats, good witchu. You must be Porter.
PORTER WATTS:
And you're Trazeno right? Nice to meet you.
TRAZENO BARNES:
Everybody calls me Zeno. Nice to meet you man.
He reaches his hand out to Porter. He extends his. Zeno holds on a few seconds too long with a smirk on his face, clearly taunting Porter.
TRAZENO BARNES:
So I hear you're the best in the city? I got these auditions coming up and i really wanna nail them.
PORTER WATTS:
Let me ask you something first.
TRAZENO BARNES:
Shoot.
PORTER WATTS:
Why do you want to act?
TRAZENO BARNES:
I feel like I'm supposed to give you one of them Ms. America type speeches. And too be honest. I don't really have one.
Porter chuckles
PORTER WATTS:
Oh no. Not at all. Your answer could have simply been you love how you look on camera. I just wanna know what kind of actor you want to be, so I know how serious I need to take you.
TRAZENO BARNES:
I want your best work! Whatchu mean? I want you to pull out all the stops. I'm tryna be at the Oscars forreal.
PORTER WATTS:
So i need your dedication. This will not be easy.
Zeno smirks, placing his hand on his heart.
TRAZENO BARNES:
I'm a very dedicated man, I promise you have all my attention.
Porter blushes, brushing off, Zeno’s apparent flirting.
PORTER WATTS:
So let's get right into it.
TRAZENO BARNES:
Yes sir!
PORTER WATTS:
Let's start by putting on a shirt.
Zeno looks down at his bare chest with a grin on his face.
TRAZENO BARNES:
Oh my bad. Is this distracting?
PORTER WATTS:
Lil bit.
Zeno chuckles
TRAZENO BARNES:
Yo. My bad. Lemme go get a shirt. You make yourself comfortable. Mi casa es su casa. However you say that shit.
The two chuckle and Zeno disappears to his room as the scene fades and reopens at Whole Foods Market, inside Miles is shown with a shopping cart looking at apples, the scene cuts outside where Jaéshon is shown making his way towards the store’s entrance.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
Whats up world? It's your boy Jaéshon Wood, your local hood boy on the come up.
Jaéshon laughs.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
I'm sure a lot of people don't know know who I am, but that's fine because soon enough my name will be shining bright in the lights. I've lived in Atlanta all my life, born and raised and lived an interesting life but I guess we can get into all that later. Anyway I know Miles through a mutual friend Asanté Monaé who is one of the hottest fashion bloggers in Atlanta. He told me he was going to the market and with me renting a room in some stranger's house, I had my own freezer so I figured why not buy some food and fill it up and it'll give us a opportunity to catch up.
The scene cuts back to the Whole Foods, inside Jaéshon meets up with Miles and the two start shopping.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I hate shopping I swear, I just want to make enough money so I can pay someone to do this.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
My moms use to take care of the food, once I moved out it was all takeout for me, but that shit was costly. That's why my ass broke now and you got me at expensive ass Whole Foods.
The two laugh.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
It's not that bad, go to some of the shops out Buckhead like the side with all the expensive car dealerships. Anyway what have you been up too? The last time we spoke you were auditioning for a role or something?
JAÉSHON WOOD:
It was for a Indy action film, but I didn't get the role. So I've just been going on a few modeling gigs, I got a couple ads in the malls but that's about it.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Seems rough, well life has been excellent for me. I just got back from Paris on vacation, I did some writing there but of course I relaxed.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
Sounds like you were living the life, must be nice.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Well other then all that stuff going on, have you been out lately? I remember seeing you at Asanté party in LA but since you've been back in Atlanta have you been out?
JAÉSHON WOOD:
Not really, I haven't had the urge or mindset to be around humans right now. I don't even care to date, it's just way too risky right now.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
I know I probably sound crazy right now, but it didn't matter. I wasn't worried about being social because I've been struggling personally. I'm sure Miles was about to tell me to go out more but I really didn't care, I didn't need other people's drama in my right now.
The scene cuts back to Jaéshon and Miles.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I only asked because there were a few events coming up that I was going to invite you too. I'm sure you need a few nights to let loose but at least think about it and I feel like since you've been more out recently then maybe you should start networking and meeting different people.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
I get it and I appreciate you trying to look out for me, I may take you up on that offer though because I do need to get out more. But I'm more concerned about finding some management and getting my life together.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
Well you are at that age, I keep telling you that you have so many talents, that face, the body, you just need to get the right people behind you playboy and I'm sure you'll get by. I keep telling you to let me introduce you to some people and let me get your name out there. But I hope before I start recommending you to people, that you've cleared up that nasty rumor going on around about you.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I'm not the type to spill a person's tea, now I'll share what may already be public information but I won't blatantly walk around telling people's business. But back in the day word on the street was that Jaéshon was selling dick to get by, he was caught in a prostitution ring but all charges were dropped.
Miles smirks.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
I felt bad for the boy because the way he talks about how he was raised is totally different to how is older years played out. But I wanted greatness for him, so I planned to help him as much as possible.
The scene cuts back to Miles and Jaéshon still inside the store.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
I mean there were a few rumors going around about me, some true and some false. But that doesn't matter because it's the past and my future is what I'm focused on.
MILES BALENCIAGA:
That's the right spirit to have, and i'll help whatever way I can. But I'm finished and now I have to rush home and get ready for this event later, this is more for work so I would invite you but I can't tonight.
JAÉSHON WOOD:
That's cool, I had plans with these plants and Netflix.
The two laugh as the scene then cuts to Druid Hills, Georgia during the afternoon at the exterior of a vacant brick warehouse. The area is empty until the camera shows two vehicles parking in the back of the building, in front of an overhead door. One of those cars having the business insignia “Smith Co. Contractors”.
The view then shows the interior, where the area only shows natural spotlights from the dirty glass windows. The car doors are heard opening and closing in the background. Muttered dialogue also also heard, rising in volume, until it becomes more clear to comprehend.
“Aight, let’s check it out.”
The sound of the garage door opens, revealing Hadrian in a casual fitted shirt and distressed jeans. The natural light from the opened overhead door reveals more of the interior, which is spacious, yet abandoned. Hadrian lets out a deep enthusiastic breath, before the scene cuts to confessionals.
HADRIAN ALI:
Whaddup! It’s Hadrian Ali. Ya boi is back in the buildin, mane! I know errbody want to know what’s been goin on in my life. After last season, everything in my life changed. After the whole assault from last season, I got terminated from CrossfitRX, Jasmine and I broke up, and now the world knows me as this “Bisexual thug”, who can’t be trusted or some sh-*beep*. Even lost a few clients since then, but on the flip side, I gained new clients too. Many of them. You’d be surprised at how busy my schedule is going from one gym to the next training people. It’s wild how I managed to turn a loss to a win. And while I’ve been working with clients, I’ve also spent a few months working on getting my business together. I already got a name “VM Gym”. Velocity Muscle Gym. Somethin to start with. Already got my license together, and now I have to see what I’m workin with. This is my first time seeing the building from the inside, so of course I had to get a contractor to sort things out.
The scene cuts back to the empty warehouse.
Contractor:
This looks like we will only need a broom, a dustpan, and a bottle of Windex to clean this building.
Hadi chortles.
HADRIAN ALI:
They told me that the company who owned this before shut down and left more than a year ago, but you never know what was left behind. For now, I have someone coming to check for any rust and mold to clear out tomorrow morning.
Contractor:
What was here before?
HADRIAN ALI:
Some Mom and Pops hardware store.
Contractor:
A good start at inspecting the place.
HADRIAN ALI:
You think so?
Contractor:
Absolutely.
HADRIAN ALI:
Aight, cool. We should be getting that done for a few days. Next week at the longest.
Cut to confessionals
HADRIAN ALI:
The money I gathered from savings and this show last season helped me get this building without the need of a huge loan. Even though the repairs and some equipment to start with will be the biggest hassle. It ain’t ya average, everyday Planet Fitness right now, but it’s enough to get a good amount of old and new customers and clients in, especially with this being my first business. I gotta make a good first impression. Of course I’m feelin a lil bit nervous, but….*pats chest* I got this, mane. *chuckles*
The scene cuts back to the warehouse. By that moment, Hadi hears his cellular phone ringing in his front pocket as the contractor is speaking to him.
HADRIAN ALI:
Alright, I will soon give you the details on how the inspection turns out. It’s a pleasure meeting you.
Contractor:
Likewise.
Hadi and the contractor shake hands before the contractor heads his way back to the business car to exit the scene. Answering his phone, Hadi then goes from one priority to the next.
HADRIAN ALI:
Wassup….
JAÉSHON WOOD: What's going on bro? Sorry to bother you but I just wanted to let you know I was back in Atlanta, I'm staying with a friend right now but I should have my own place soon. But how are you doing?
HADRIAN ALI:
Ayy, waddup, Jaé!
The scene cuts to confessionals.
HADRIAN ALI:
Many do not know this, but when I was younger, my stepdad was my father figure, while the one that gave birth to me left to another state with another girl. Fu-*beep-*d up, right? However, when I was in college, I discovered that my real dad had twin sons: Jaéshon and Blair. Ever since then, I’ve been reaching out to them to see how they are doing, but I never got the chance to connect with them. After everythang that’s been goin down with me lately, I wanted to take this opportunity to do that. Take some time for me to build in my life. It helps that Jaé is here in Atlanta, so I can finally have the chance to see him face-to-face.
The scene cuts back to Hadrian on the phone with Jaéshon.
HADRIAN ALI:
I’m doin good, mane! Checking thangs out at the building I just bought for my business. Enough about me though. What about you? How you been?
JAÉSHON WOOD: I guess I've been good, just been trying to find work and make a living you know, things have been kind of rough but I've been trying to get my life back on track. But don't get me started on that.
Jaéshon takes a sip of a drink he made before calling Hadi.
JAÉSHON WOOD: Have you talked to Blair?
HADRIAN ALI:
I’ve tried to, but he hasn’t been answering. Even after leaving him voice messages and texts, he doesn’t reply. I think he changed his number or sumthin. How’s he doin?
CONFESSIONAL CAM
JAÉSHON WOOD: To be honest, I knew exactly why Blair wasn't returning his phone calls, but it wasn't my place to tell Hadi. But the next time I talked to Blair I planned on bringing it up and seeing where his head was at. I was cool with building our relationship, I mean we were family.
The scene cuts back to Hadi on the phone with Jaéshon.
JAÉSHON WOOD: I haven't really talked to him either which is crazy because we use to talk everyday. But I guess our schedules prevents us from talking or spending time together. But next time I talk to him I’ll let him know you asked about him.
HADRIAN ALI:
Aight, cool. Since you in Atlanta, though, we should meet up soon. Just a lil talk. When are you available?
Jaéshon pauses letting out a huge sigh.
JAÉSHON WOOD: I don't know to be honest, life hasn't been the greatest since mom and dad cut me off financially so I've been out here getting by but barely if that makes sense. So any job I get I try not to lose because I need the money. Maybe sometime in the next few days we can kind of meetup and talk.
HADRIAN ALI:
Ok, cool.
JAÉSHON WOOD: And listen as far as Blair goes. I think you should ease your way into that, just take my advice. He's a little angry right now so I just don't want you two to be aggressive with each other.
Jaéshon pauses.
JAÉSHON WOOD: But I’ll let y'all two have that.
Hadi raises an eyebrow.
HADRIAN ALI:
Um….aight, cool. Just let me know when you got any free time, so we can talk. Catch ya later, bruh.
Hadrian hangs up the phone as the scene transitions to Longhorn Steakhouse, Inside Giovanni and Isaiah are shown sitting in one of the booths, Giovanni is sipping on a drink while Isaiah is eating his salad.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I've been kicking it with Isaiah a few weeks now. Even though we never made it official I kind of looked at him as my dude. But it seems like he wasn't feeling the same way. A friend of mine was attending Asanté Monaé’s party and I heard that Isaiah was hugged up on some other guy. So I wanted to ask him face to face just to see his reaction and to see if he was going to tell me the truth.
The scene cuts back to Isaiah and Giovanni.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I haven't been here in so long, I use to come here a lot as a child. I know this is one of my brothers favorite spots.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Well I wanted to bring you here so we could talk about a few things, and I just wanted to be face to face. You know with my party coming up I just didn't want any drama.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
Why do you think there would be drama though? I told you that wasn't my style.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Because word on the street you were cuddled up with some dude at Asanté’s party and I thought we were trying to see where things were going with us.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
My mouth is on the floor right now, I couldn't believe what he was saying to me. I don't know who went back running their mouths but it wasn't that serious. Yes I had an intimate relationship with Delonte Fendi but it was nothing serious. Giovanni and I had just started talking so what? Was I supposed to stop talking to Delonte right away? I wasn't sure about Giovanni like I was now.
Isaiah rolls her eyes as the scene cuts back to the two at the restaurant.
‍
ISAIAH WOLFE:
Look I want to be honest with you, yes I've been hanging with this guy but that was before we decided to even get serious. He asked me to go to Asanté’s party with him and you knew I was going to go anyway. But it's nothing like that Gio, I promise you that.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Yo I don't want to be out in these streets looking like a fool. I sit back and look at all this petty shit going on with you and those dudes on Twitter? Isn't one of them your ex?
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I'm only defending my friend Gio and no, Riley and I never dated we just kind of messed around.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I just think it's strange that you sit around and go back and forth with a nigga that you claim you have no feelings for or a relationship with. As for you defending this so called friend, maybe this person isn't a friend if they're constantly bringing you into their drama, so think about it.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
You're very aggressive tonight.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Nah I'm not aggressive, I'm just not here for the, bullshit. I liked you for a reason because I thought you were different from the rest, I just don't like petty gay drama. And then now you got this fake friendship or relationship with this dude from LA, so this whole situation is screaming red flags.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
I get it Gio, and I like you. I want this to work, and I'm sorry. I won't talk to Delonte and I’ll fall back with the online drama with Jaser and Riley, just give me another chance.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I believe you, but I have to think about some things.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
I probably was going hard on Isaiah, but I couldn't break and just let him think this was okay. When I'm serious about someone then I put my all, I'm not with this half ass shit. I wanted him to suffer a bit, so I’ll let him think I needed space but I didn't plan on ending things right now, I wanted to see if we could really work things out.
The scene cuts back to the restaurant.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
You're making me feel bad right now Gio, what else can I do?
GIOVANNI WESTON:
Just let me think about it, I told you what happened in my past and this whole situation is already giving off bad signals, I'm not saying we can't still work it out. I just need a few days to myself.
ISAIAH WOLFE:
Okay Gio! I get it. I'm sorry.
GIOVANNI WESTON:
It's cool, I'm ready if you are.
Giovanni motions for the waiter as Isaiah finishes his drink, the scene transitions to another restaurant in downtown Atlanta. The Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, where in the inside, Jaéshon is shown sitting down at one of tables near the window, sipping on his mixed, he stares out the window.

CONFESSIONAL CAM
JAÉSHON WOOD: I was a little nervous meeting up with Hadrian today, this would be our first time meeting each other and honestly I didn't what to expect. Don't get me wrong we've chatted here and there on the phone and we know of each other but to actually meeting in person was going to be interested.
Jaéshon shakes head.
JAÉSHON WOOD: But I was open minded about the whole thing, even though Blair was against it, I was interested in seeing what could happen. Now from what I know now Hadrian is openly bisexual, so I guess that's one thing we had in common, either way I'm coming in this little meet and greet with positive mindset so I hope he is too.
The scene cuts back to the restaurant as Jaéshon continues to wait for Hadi, until he finally catches him at the door. Hadi following suit after the waitress at the door verbally directs him to the table. Hadi heads that way until he is finally face-to-face with his brother, who is standing up to greet him. The scene then cuts to confessionals.
CONFESSIONAL CAM
HADRIAN ALI:
At last. I would never think that this day would come this soon. After years of speaking to each other on the phone, I finally meet with him face-to-face. I’m...excited. Hype. So many words I can explain about this situation. Actually surprised that both of them are here in Atlanta. Hella coincidental. It’s unfortunate that Blair couldn’t come though. I’m actually wondering why.
The scene cuts back to the restaurant as Hadi goes to give Jaéshon a hug.
HADRIAN ALI:
Whassup with you, bruh! It’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person!
The scene takes a quick return to confessionals…
HADRIAN ALI:
Damn, my real pops must have some strong genes, because Jaéshon has so many similar features. Similar interest, too. I didn’t think Jaéshon liked Brazilian steakhouses, too.
JAÉSHON WOOD: The moment is finally here, I get the opportunity to meet Hadi. I was nervous as hell, but this couldn't wait any longer.
......before it cuts back to Hadi and Jaéshon.
JAÉSHON WOOD: I know right, it's been a long time coming honestly. How is everything?
HADRIAN ALI:Doin real good. I didn't think I would be able to get thangs together at first, but it's been poppin off ever since. I've been doing workout sessions in various gyms instead of one like I did before, plus getting this business up, but enough about me. How you been? How's everything with the family?
JAÉSHON WOOD: To be honest I couldn't tell you, Dad really doesn't speak to me and as for mom, we talk but that's rare. I kind of separated myself from people because of some stuff that I was going through but Blair and I have been really close.
Jaéshon shrugs.
HADRIAN ALI:
Sorry to hear that, mane.
JAÉSHON WOOD: But I'm doing a lot better, been modelling here and there and training to become a wrestler, but neither is helping me with the bills. I've been staying with this guy I met off Craigslist and been bartending part time since I've been in Atlanta.
HADRIAN ALI:
Damn, you doin a lot, bruh, but I’m glad you gettin your name out there, especially here in Atlanta. I know it’s gon be hard, but you got it. Your living situation though, how’s that goin so far?
JAÉSHON WOOD: I mean it's going, it hasn't changed honestly. I just moved here and the guy is cool I guess, I rarely see him because he works a lot. I'm trying to save so I can move into a place, I kind of already found one place I really love but I haven't made enough to move in yet.
Jaéshon takes a sip of his drink, shaking his head.
JAÉSHON WOOD: And Blair’s been so invested in his new relationship so I haven't really had the chance to ask him for anything, I don't want to bother. He's done enough to help me, especially after the fallout between pops and I.
CONFESSIONAL CAM
HADRIAN ALI:
I was curious about the fallout between Jaé and my real pops, but I knew that it wasn’t my place, just yet. We still hardly know each other. In fact, whatever it was, I understood. After I came out, my moms was buggin on the phone about it, saying that I she didn’t agree to my lifestyle, and especially didn’t agree to my unfaithful past, but I guess Al was able to talk to her or sumthin, and she eased up a bit. I don’t know what he said, but she let go of my neck….
Hadi Chuckles.
HADRIAN ALI:
She still doesn’t talk a lot about personal sh*beep* though, unless I ask her. However, in Jaé’s case, having the parents he depends on, especially our pops, leave him out in the cold like that? That’s fu-*beep*-ed up, forreal, mane.
Cuts back to restaurant.
HADRIAN ALI:
I tell you what, bruh? I know I got a lot going on with the gym and traveling and sh-*beep*, but if you and Blair need anything, just let me know. I know that sh-*beep* is tough.
JAÉSHON WOOD: That wouldn't be right of me to accept anything from you, were just now getting a chance to meet each other so it wouldn't feel right.
Jaéshon smiles.
JAÉSHON WOOD: I just made a few bad choices in life that I'm trying to fix that's all, but I definitely appreciate the gesture.
Hadi smiles back, giving a head nod.
HADRIAN ALI:
I feel ya, mane. You heading out to the wild. That’s a part of bein a man. Just know that I got your back. Besides, we still gonna need to connect more either way. There’s still a lot we gotta chat about. Blair included. With all three of us being in the same city, we gotta cherish the moment, right?
JAÉSHON WOOD: I wish he could have came but he just doesn't feel up to it. He doesn't understand why you waited so long to reach out, I guess he feels this bad motives behind or something, I don't know. But I honestly wondered the same thing?
HADRIAN ALI:
Bad motives? Nah, mane. To be honest, I’ve been aware about not contacting yall as often as I use to. I stopped talking to the fam back home too. I think I just needed to figure out where I needed to go. Learn some sh*beep* about myself, before I take the next step. Makes things worse with the sh*beep* I’ve been through as of late. The good and the bad.
JAÉSHON WOOD: That's true and I understand, but all that doesn't matter now, what matters is we're in touch now so let's just do better. It's always good to have family because other people will come and go but family is family. Like I said before i'll talk to Blair and I’m sure I can get us all together in one room.
HADRIAN ALI:
That's great. I can't wait to meet with him, too.
JAÉSHON WOOD: But enough about me, what about you? How has everything been since coming out? I know it had to be hard for you.
Hadi looks down a smiles.
CONFESSIONAL CAM
HADRIAN ALI:
This is honestly the first time I’ve ever fully addressed my bisexuality to anyone. You see, before I was just like “Yeah, I am. The fu-*beep*.”, because I didn’t want people all up in my business like that, but I guess since this is my brother, I can man up and be more personal about it. There’s no point in hiding the sh-*beep* now.
The scene cuts back to the restaurant as Hadi looks back to his brother.
HADRIAN ALI:
Real hard, fam. Prolly the most difficult part of my life. Seems everything took a different turn since I came out. My girlfriend of more than a year broke up with me, my moms was chewing me out until my stepdad was able to persuade her a little bit, I gained some distrust from clients I had before, and I didn’t know how to handle it all, but in came this blessing. These new workout clients started coming in a lot more frequently, showering me with compliments talking about how brave I was about opening up to the world, especially as a former athlete. This sports world is tough on a ni-*beep*, especially when they are interested in other men. That insecurity sh-*beep* ni-*beep*-s got, but I’m grateful for the compliments. Helped me out a lot with how much self-control I put in. Why do you ask though?
JAÉSHON WOOD: Because I knew how hard it was for me when I came out, that's one of the reasons why I was disowned from the family.
CONFESSIONAL CAM
JAÉSHON WOOD: I remember telling my father how I felt about boys, he told me that homosexuality wasn't accepted in his household and if I wanted to live that type of lifestyle that I would have to live it elsewhere. I was cool with that though, I'm grown so I knew I had to figure out a way to make my own money and be able to live my life the way I wanted too.
The scene fades back to Hadi and Jaéshon.
JAÉSHON WOOD: I just wanted to let you know that it may be hard now but it'll get better. I know it sucks that you may have lost people that were close to you because of the situation but it's your life and you have to live your truth no matter what. I'm here for you now though, so you never know we might can help each other.
Hadi nods once more.
HADRIAN ALI:
Real talk.
The scene ends with Hadi and Jaéshon still conversing with one another.
