MERCEDES: Tonight is a special show, well it’s special to me because just a few weeks ago I named our guest tonight the HATER OF THE WEEK all because I felt a way about a radio show she did. Now even though I didn’t like what was said, it doesn’t mean I don’t like her as a person because believe me when I say this, she is good entertainment.

MERCEDES: She’s drag queen entertainer, one of the stars of MIl’s hit reality show #theLIFEATL which is in it's second season as we speak and she’s currently working on her own wig line.


Chanel Snow backstage

MERCEDES: I want everyone to give our special guest a warm welcome, Ladies and Gentleman Chanel Snow.

Chanel makes her way out to a warm reaction from the crowd, she smiles patting her Afro wig as she walks over to the chair, she leans over and kisses Mercedes on the cheek and then sits down.

MERCEDES: Chanel Welcome, this outfit is so cute.

CHANEL SNOW: Thank you.

MERCEDES: The hair you're wearing, is that one of your wigs from your upcoming hairline?

CHANEL SNOW: Actually It is, I wanted to give everyone a little preview of what I had to offer.

MERCEDES: What made you want to do wigs? I understand that hair is very profitable but what made you want to do it?

CHANEL SNOW: Well you just answered the question, that’s really the main reason because I knew I could make a coin. But I love hair, I love styling it, wearing it and just creating different looks and styles.

MERCEDES: So wig line, performing in the clubs and filming a reality show. I guess we can all say life is pretty great for you.

CHANEL SNOW: Life is good but it’s hard. I just don’t sit around and do nothing, I actually work. My check is consistent unlike other people who have to rely on the show for a paycheck.

MERCEDES: I always wondered what you guys were getting paid for to do the show.

CHANEL SNOW: I can’t speak for everyone because everyone’s pay is different. Some people are paid more while others get appearance fees.

MERCEDES: So can we get a number?

CHANEL SNOW: Ha. That’s my business and my business only, but I’ll say it’s definitely more than the other cast members.

Chanel smiles, flipping her hair to the side.

MERCEDES: So when will your wigs be available for purchase?

CHANEL SNOW: You can actually buy them now online, but I plan on opening a boutique which you’ll see me talking about on the show.

MERCEDES: I can’t wait, I heard you actually brought a few wigs for me. Thank you! But speaking of the show, I have a few questions to ask because Miss Lady you are like the talk of the show.

Chanel giggles.

CHANEL SNOW: Ask away and I’ll try to answer all of them.

MERCEDES: Well the main question everyone wants to know is why no one likes you on the show? I mean you have a few enemies on the show.

CHANEL SNOW: I really don’t know. I’m sure everyone thinks I should know but I just don’t. I’m on a roll right now in my personal and professional life at the moment and I just don’t let that type of stuff bother me.

Chanel pauses.

CHANEL SNOW: But you know when you're successful In life, there’s always someone out there who's going to hate on your success and want to see you doing bad.

MERCEDES: But it seems like everyone has an issue though.

CHANEL SNOW: No I wouldn’t say everyone, I’m friends with Isaiah and his boyfriend. Hadi and I are good friends and I’ve built a friendship with Dallas. Only the bum gang hate me but I promised I wouldn’t give them any more publicity by mentioning their names.

Chanel flips her hair to the side again.

MERCEDES: I honestly feel like you make great TV, but I do think some of your actions are cruel and not needed.

CHANEL SNOW: See when people cross my bad side, then that’s when the ugly comes out. I’m really a nice person, I have a lot of friends and family that loves me so I could careless what a hater thinks. If someone comes for me then I’m coming for them right back but ten times harder.

MERCEDES: What does your boyfriend think of the drama you're involved in? We got a chance to see him this past episode and he’s a cutie.

CHANEL SNOW: Thank you. But to answer your question he doesn’t like it, but he understands why I act the way I do sometimes. But I’ve actually calmed down a bit, I’m a businesswoman now so I’m focused more on my brands and my career at the moment.

MERCEDES: That’s smart. I always tell people there’s a time and place when to act out, just make sure it’s not seen or heard then you’ll be ok.

CHANEL SNOW: To be honest I’ve been pretty good this season, but we’re still filming so who knows what will happen in the future but as of right now I’ve been great.

MERCEDES: So when you saw I named you the HATER OF THE WEEK what was your reaction?

CHANEL SNOW: I thought it was funny, I wasn’t offended at all because everyone has their opinion of me but it just made me think like damn why would she do that? We’ve met before off camera and had a great meeting so it just threw me off.

MERCEDES: I don’t know you personally, of course we’ve shared a moment together but it wasn’t enough to say that I know you and your personality. I just spoke my mind on that radio show and kept it moving.

CHANEL SNOW: And that’s why I didn’t let it bother me to much. I understood why you did it so I was just like it’s whatever. But I’m here and on your show and I’m blessed. I’ve always been a fan of your whole movement from your music to your fashion.

MERCEDES: I appreciate that and well respected in this business. That’s why I’m saying don’t burn too many bridges because some of those people you may need in your life.

Chanel nods her head agreeing with Mercedes.

MERCEDES: Now this is the part where I announce this week’s HATER OF THE WEEK and don’t worry Chanel it’s not you.

Chanel laughs.

MERCEDES: Matter of fact it’s not even a person, I’m dedicating this little segment to cancer. FUCK CANCER.



MERCEDES: My Love, prayers and condolences go to anyone who has dealt with this disease, lost a loved one to this disease or anyone who has beat the disease. It’s sad to see how cancer can cause so much pain, stress and heartbreak to a person's life. I always want to dedicate this part to a three year old boy who recently lost his battle a few days ago from cancer. I want to tell his mother and his family to be strong. We love you Ayden and you will forever remain in our hearts!


FLY HIGH AND REST IN PEACE

The crowd let’s out a sad awe in remembering the little boy Ayden, both Mercedes and Chanel sit there for a moment showing their respect and love to Ayden and his family.

MERCEDES: That’s a very sad situation, and I feel for the mother.

CHANEL SNOW: The whole mood is depressing now, I followed their story and it’s heartbreaking.

MERCEDES: Very sad. I really don’t know how to move on from this or really want too. But I most continue the show, now Chanel back to what we were talking about earlier I wanted to bring up the fact that this season of #theLIFEATL has a lot of people on the cast, now I know the first season had high ratings but why were there so many new people added this season?

CHANEL SNOW: That’s funny you asked that because I asked the same damn question. I guess production didn’t believe our season was going to be a hit but after the first season did so well, they felt that it would be best to add more episodes and people. Some people are just friends of the actual cast on the show while others are just there. But I feel like the new people they brought on should have replaced some of the old.

MERCEDES: Oooh the shade, and who are you talking about?

CHANEL SNOW: The people that don’t bring anything to the show, and we have a lot of those on the cast.

MERCEDES: So you won’t drop names?

CHANEL SNOW: I don’t feel the need too, I’m sure they know who they are.

MERCEDES: So I wanted to ask why we see you more as Chanel then Malachi, do you plan on actually transitioning into a woman or what’s the plan?

CHANEL SNOW: Honey no! I plan on staying Malachi Snow for the rest of my life. But I’m booked so much that is just easier this way. But when i go home and unwind, honey this wig and all this makeup comes the hell off.

MERCEDES: So back to your love life, this guy Andrew Lemar, how did you meet him? Or should I say how did you two meet?

CHANEL SNOW: It was through a mutual friend, the guy introduced us and then Andrew came to a few of my shows, we hung out after a couple times and since then we just decided to pursue a relationship and see where it would take us.

MERCEDES: Are you in love?

CHANEL SNOW: I care for him deeply, so yes I will say I love him.

MERCEDES: Will we see him on the show more?

CHANEL SNOW: Honestly no, and it’s because I wanted it that way. Andrew has a real job so normally he isn’t around that often. Plus he prefers to be out of the public eye so I Guess it works out for the both of us.

MERCEDES: He is so handsome so I will say you did a great job picking him.

CHANEL SNOW: Thank you, I really like this one so I’m hoping for the best.

MERCEDES: I’m sure it’ll be a great ride, and I wish the best with your relationship. So I wanted to ask you what made you want to do drag?

CHANEL SNOW: Growing up I always thought the art of drag was beautiful and just interesting. I remember being a young boy and trying on my mom's heels or sneaking her wigs out of the closet and putting them on. At that time I just knew I wanted to entertain, dress up, and play around with makeup and costumes.

MERCEDES: How does your family feel about it?

CHANEL SNOW: Everyone was very supportive, which was a shock to me but I came from a loving family. My father taught me how to be tough and not take any shit. He told me that if I was going to make this my lifestyle then I needed to be ready for whatever was thrown my way.

MERCEDES: So that’s why you're so tough and hard.

CHANEL SNOW: In this world you have to be.

MERCEDES: I totally understand.

CHANEL SNOW: I’ve even went shopping with my mother for heels and outfits so I’m very accepted by the ones who matter.

Chanel smiles waving at the camera, she blows a kiss and giggles.

CHANEL SNOW: Hi Haters.

MERCEDES: So silly.

CHANEL SNOW: I need to let these people know honey, i am booked and busy. I don’t have time for these suckas out here who speak negative about me. I understand I’ve may have said some things that have upset some people but it’s like get over it.

MERCEDES: You have said some negative things as well.

CHANEL SNOW: Because I was pushed to that limit. Once my name is stopped being mentioned then I’ll fall back. I don’t understand why it’s such a problem to be proud of accomplishments you’ve earned and announcing them. I can’t help these clubs and tv shows want me and not the others, they must see something in me because my phone won't stop ringing.

MERCEDES: I’ll never hate on another person's success because even in my time I dealt with stress and people coming at me sideways but I handled it a different way. I do want to say I am really proud of you and what the rest of the cast has done with the show, I think it’s great what you guys do and I get there will be drama but you guys do a lot of good things too.

CHANEL SNOW: Thank you for that. This show has opened a lot of doors for me and I’m sure for the rest of the other casts too but it all goes with how you use this opportunity and I was smart. I’m so proud to be apart of the whole LIFE EXPERIENCE and I don’t regret any of it.

MERCEDES: What about the cameras following you around everyday? That has to been nerve racking, I remember doing Star’s reality show and it was my first time dealing with the cameras everyday and some days I just wanted the equipment and the cameramen to be away from me.

CHANEL SNOW: I’m use to it now, the camera and production crew are like family. In the beginning it was difficult but i lasted a full season and it’s about to be two so I’m use to it now.

MERCEDES: Last week Jaser Cruz stopped by the show.

CHANEL SNOW: Awe that’s sweet, did you offer him a job? An internship? Wait he was the guest custodian for the day?

MERCEDES: There you go again, no. But he did have some words for you so I want to show you the replay.



MERCEDES: Any response?

CHANEL SNOW: Poor fool. He’s so delusional. He should be saying that about himself. He’s lucky production even asked him to return this season because he’s such a liability and risk for not only the show but the entire network. I really have no response to Jaser except if he continues to put his hands on me or even try to put his hands on me then he’ll hear from my lawyer and soon enough be locked away under the jail cell. He’s a scumbag.

MERCEDES: What happened?

CHANEL SNOW: I honestly don’t want to entertain this topic because he’s not bringing me a check for giving him this publicity. The boy Is struggling for a coin and a job and I don’t want him making any money off of me. Like I said before if he tries anything else then he will hear from my lawyer! Next Question!

MERCEDES: I want to know who you want off the show, you’ve said all of this about Jaser so who else do you feel doesn’t deserve to be on the show?

CHANEL SNOW: Look I’m excited to see how all the new people do first, I’m fine with everyone who's on the show but I will say if we do have another season then we should definitely get rid of the Bum Gang.

Chanel waves at the camera again.

CHANEL SNOW: Bye Haters!

MERCEDES: Good answer, and safe answer. I don’t agree with calling them the bum gang but for people who don’t know who your referring too kind of makes it a safe answer.

CHANEL SNOW: I wouldn’t call it a safe answer, let’s just say I’m tired of making hoes famous.
