KATHERINE GRAHAM: You’ve been sleeping all day Paris, don’t you think it’s time for you to get up and do something.
The scene opens up in South Philly close to downtown, a pair of newly built Lofts are shown and inside Katherine, the mother of Paris is shown making her way into his room. She grabs the sheet and pulls it off Paris body exposing his half naked body. Paris groans as he grabs his pillow and covers his head.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Paris I’m not joking, you need to get up right now.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ma, I’m tired and I don’t feel like getting up.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: No one told you to stay out until 7 in the morning, now listen a gentleman is outside in the living room waiting to speak to you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Wait? Who?
KATHERINE GRAHAM: It’s that guy you were going to hire as an agent, he’s here with some papers in his hand and said he had a few things to discuss with you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: He told me he was going to call before he came.
Paris looks down at his phone and notices the 15 missed calls. He shakes his head and climbs out of the bed.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I need at least 10 minutes, I need to get my whole life together right now.
Paris climbs out of the bed, fixing his boxers, he turns and looks at his mother.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Can I get some privacy though?
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Boy I carried you for 9 months, wiped your ass for years and raised you until now and I’m still raising you. So you don’t have anything I haven’t seen, I just want to make sure your going to get dressed and not lay back down.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I need my own place.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: You are very pissy today, I’ll let the gentleman know that your coming but please fix your face and change that attitude.
Katherine turns and walks out of the bedroom leaving Paris standing there. He looks around at the piles of clothes he has scattered all around the room and he starts digging through the clean pile.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I need to get my life together, like forreal… I’m so out of order right now!
Paris groans as he grabs a T-shirt and a pair of jeans from the pile of clothes. He rushes into the bathroom and rinses his mouth out with listerine. Paris walks out the bathroom grabbing his phone on the stand on the way out of the bedroom and heads into the living room where his mother and his agent Brody Kent is shown sipping on some hot chocolate.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I see my mom hooked you up with her famous hot chocolate.
BRODY KENT: I mean she insisted and wouldn’t take no for an answer and with the weather being in the single digits, a little hot coco wouldn’t hurt. But my question is where were you this morning for our meeting?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I had a long night.
BRODY KENT: Understand This I’ve worked with some of the biggest people in the industry, from models to musicians and even some actors. I take my job, Time, and career very serious and I don’t appreciate when I have clients no call, no show and not follow through with meetings and engagements.
PARIS NATHANIEL: It won’t happen again, I just had a rough night that’s all.
BRODY KENT: I get it, your young, the money is great, but you want that money to continue so keep that in mind. Anyway I have the contracts from MIL regarding #theLIFEPHILLY and I’ve had the lawyers look over them, looks good to the both of us.
PARIS NATHANIEL: So this is real?
BRODY KENT: This is as real as it can get, once you sign this contract then you’ll start filming. Paris don’t let this opportunity go to waste because so much can happen from this opportunity. This will get you and your name out in the open and possibly open doors for other jobs.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m nervous but at the same time I know this will really help me.
BRODY KENT: The pay is $2500 per episode the first three episodes, the final two are $5000 and you get a $1500 bonus for filming and showing up for the reunion. I’m sure you can host some parties and being on this show maybe help you get into more fashion shows and modeling gigs.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Is everyone else on the show making that amount?
BRODY KENT: Everyone is making the same pay because the show is new, well at least the city. I’m sure if more seasons happen and your asked back then the pay will change, but starting out that’s amazing.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m down, so I’ll sign the contract.
BRODY KENT: We also should look into renting an AirBnB or maybe finding a place. It won’t look cool filming at your mother's house.
Katherine rolls her eyes as she walks into the living room.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Wait a minute, why can’t he film here? This is where he lives.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ma, please.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: I’m just saying, I don’t think he’s ready to be out on his own. He can barely wake up on time for a business meeting, so that’s something we have to think about.
BRODY KENT: I think this is what needs to happen. Paris is a grown man right now and this is a huge opportunity, we don’t want to portray him as a mother's boy but someone whose independent.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Honey my son comes from a very rich background. He doesn’t have to work if he doesn’t want too but he chooses to. Now of course I want my son to be successful and independent but I don’t think he should put on a fake lifestyle just for TV.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ma, I’ve been thinking about moving out anyway.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: And when were you going to talk to me about this? Baby you haven’t even turned 19 yet and you just graduated high school. I don’t think you should be on your own right now!
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’ll be 19 in a few days and it’s really not up for discussion. You always complain about how immature I am sometimes so let me do this, maybe this will help me grow and be a better man.
BRODY KENT: I understand as a parent this may be rough for you Ms. Graham but trust me I won’t let anything happen to him, he’s in great hands. That’s why I said we should just find a AirBnB and go that route, we can rent it for a few months while filming and kind of go from there.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: I just don’t like this.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Once I sign that contract ma it’s no turning back. I’ve been modeling since I was 17 and this right here is my big break.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Fine! But your father isn’t going to be happy about this.
PARIS NATHANIEL: He’ll be happy that he’s not giving me a monthly allowance anymore.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: It’s not about the money, it’s about your safety and we only want the best for you. I’ve watched this show and I’ve seen the type of stuff that happens and I don’t know if I want you getting mixed up in all of that.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ma, you and Dad raised a smart kid, I’m not going to go out here and act a fool. I’m really going to take this opportunity and make the best out of it.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: I trust you son.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Now can I sign this appear?
Katherine nods her head Yes and Brody hands Paris the paper. Paris takes the paper and glances over it before signing it. He hands it back to Brody and Brody tucks it in his jacket pocket.
BRODY KENT: Now if you’ll excuse me Ms. Graham, I would like to speak to Paris alone.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: I guess I should go check on the chef to see if their finished preparing tonight’s dinner and to check on your sister. If you need me for anything, I’ll be in the kitchen.
Katherine smiles as she walks off towards the kitchen, Paris walks down the long hallway and heads into his bedroom and Brody follows behind him. The two walk into the bedroom and Paris closes the door, he turns and leaps into Brody’s arms wrapping his legs around his waist, the two start kissing.
BRODY KENT: I was wondering when we were going to get some time alone.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I am her only son, she’s overprotective and I’m gay so she’s even more worried.
BRODY KENT: So are you staying over tonight?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I can’t, I promised my mom I would go look at venues for my party. And I know if I stay over your house then I’ll flake on her and I can’t do that again.
BRODY KENT: I understand, I guess I’ll see you after.
PARIS NATHANIEL: You know you will.
BRODY KENT: I think after the show finishes, you should probably really think about finding a place and not a AirBnB.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m all for it, but convincing my mother is another thing. We have to take this thing slow, she would have flip her shit if she found out that we were messing around.
BRODY KENT: Your grown.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m still her son Brody, yes I’m older now but it just doesn’t work like that. Just let it happen, I just don’t want to disappoint her that’s all.
BRODY KENT: I got your back Paris, you have to trust me.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I do trust you, you've helped me this far so I know you won’t let me down. But once we got romantically involved, things kind of changed. And we are hiding this relationship so it makes it harder, I’m sure people will catch on eventually.
BRODY KENT: When the time is right we’ll let the world know, but right now we need to keep this under lock and key!
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ok Brody.
BRODY KENT: Now I have a few other gigs lined up for you, I’ll shoot you an email later today with the times and dates so please pay attention to your emails.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I will. I’m so excited because I feel like things are only going to get better from here.
BRODY KENT: Trust me when I say this, I’m going to take you to the top of the world.
Paris smiles as he leans in closer to Brody and kisses him, a knock is heard on the door and he backs away. The door opens and Katherine walks in.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Excuse me if I’m interrupting this meeting, but your father and your sister will be here shortly and I need you to help me set the table.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I can do that.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Brody your welcome to stay and have dinner with us, there’s enough to go around.
BRODY KENT: Oh I would love to but I actually have business back at the office, can I get a rain check?
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Well suit yourself, hurry this up Paris.
Katherine smiles as she turns and walks out of the bedroom, closing the door behind her. Brody grabs ahold of Paris gripping his ass.
BRODY KENT: Just make sure you come see me tomorrow when your done.
The two share another kiss before leaving the bedroom, Brody walks towards the door and leaves out while Paris joins his mother in the dining area helping her set up the table, The scene fades.

#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: So tell us about yourself.
The scene opens up inside MIL Studios, Paris is shown standing in front of a green screen staring at the camera in front of him. He smiles at the production manager and looks straight into the camera.
PARIS NATHANIEL: A model, that’s what they call me.
Paris smiles.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Pretty boy, rich boy, mommas boy, trust fund baby, Richie Rich! Hell those are a few names I’ve heard my whole 19 years of being on this earth, but I’ve never let that bother me. I wasn’t one of those kids that felt bullied or wanted to cry because I felt like the outcast.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: So you felt unloved?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I was actually loved, I had the same group of friends growing up, and my family were all close. We weren’t the type that had family drama and if we did, the kids didn’t know anything about it. Quick background, my family has money, I’m talking about Oil money and we’re blessed to own a couple businesses so yes the bank accounts, the savings, the IRA’s and whatever else accounts rich people normally have.
Paris shrugs his shoulders.
PARIS NATHANIEL: We have!
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Seems like your good in the money department, you may not want to portray that on TV because people will think your a snob.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ugh I do sound stuck up and probably like a snob but trust me I’m far from that, yes I’m blessed but I’m humble and I know that my parents and the ones before me worked hard to give me the opportunity to live this type of lifestyle. Once I got to the age where I started understanding how real life worked, I wanted to be my own person and step out of my parents shadow. I wanted to make my own money and not worry about an allowance!
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: We enjoyed your audition tape and felt like you would make a great addition to the cast. Your originally from Philly, born and raised and we’ve noticed some of your recent work, especially your spread in Out Magazine so we were definitely interested. But understand this is reality tv and we do expect you to share everything about your life.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m an open book and I’ve done my research, so I know what to do and what to expect.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Now do you know anyone else on the cast?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I know Israel, Zoe, and Trevia. I’m actually close to Israel because we kind of started modeling together, as for the other two I’ve met them at model parties and things like that.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: I’m sure once filming starts and the group is around each other more then maybe friendships will build and grow.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m sure it will, I just hope because don’t think I’m this young naive person because I’m the youngest on the show. But little do they know I’m real smart.
Paris winks at that camera.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: I’m sure there’s a story behind your name.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I was made in Paris, and my parents loved the name Nathaniel but couldn’t choose what to name so me they went with Paris Nathaniel.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Interesting!
PARIS NATHANIEL: I love my name!
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Will we see any love interest on the show? A boyfriend?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m single and plan on staying that way for a long time. Relationships complicate things and I don’t have the time or energy for that. I’m still young so I have time, and I want good experiences.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Well if it happens, we need to know.
Paris chuckles
PARIS NATHANIEL: He has to be ok with being filmed, I can’t force my guy to want to be ok with that. And it also depends on who it is, I’ve come across people in high places that don’t want their business in these streets.
Paris smiles, giving off a smirk.
PARIS NATHANIEL: And neither do I.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: What about family? Will we see anyone from your family on the show?
PARIS NATHANIEL: Sure! I have two sisters that’ll probably be around and my mother of course. I don’t know about my father though, he isn’t to happy about me being on this show.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Any reason why?
PARIS NATHANIEL: He just has other plans for me that’s all, I’ll never bad mouth that man because he’s been nothing but good to me. Sorry Dad if this disappoints you but this is something that needs to be done.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Maybe things will turn around after he sees you on the show.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Who knows.
#theLIFEPHILLY PRODUCTION MANAGER: Thank you Paris, we can’t wait to see what you bring to the show.
Paris smiles as the production manager cuts the camera off. He motions for the crew to start packing up and he thanks Paris for stopping by to record the promo for the #theLIFEPHILLY. Paris turns and walks out the studio office and meets up with his mother who was waiting in the waiting room.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: That was quick.
PARIS NATHANIEL: It’s promo for the show, nothing major. They asked me if my family was going to appear on the show and I said yes to you and my sisters but I said it’s a no for Dad.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Sorry honey, maybe he’ll come around.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I hope so because this is important to me.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: He just wanted you to be involved with the family business instead of doing this. He’s just worried about you!
PARIS NATHANIEL: I didn’t make him look bad, I just said he won’t be around. But look I wanted to talk to you about something.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Well can it wait until we get home, I’m a little uncomfortable right now because this man standing next to us is recording us with this camera.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Shit! I didn’t even notice that.
Paris grabs his mother’s hand and the two walk out of the door and towards the parking lot. Katherine jumps in the driver side of her Porsche SUV and Paris climbs in the front seat. She backs out of the parking space and makes her way onto the road.
OFF•CAMERA
KATHERINE GRAHAM: That was weird that man was just standing there recording us.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I guess it was for the show, maybe backstage scenes our outtakes, who knows.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: What is that you wanted to talk to me about?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I just wanted to make sure you were ok with me moving out and all.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: So you are serious about this?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I told you I was. Listen I promise you I won’t let you down but you have to let me do this.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Why don’t you just move into the house we have in northeast. Why do you have to go out and rent a place you won’t even stay in for a long time?
PARIS NATHANIEL: Because you and dad will have access to the northeast house and I just need to do this on my own. I’m thinking about doing the AirBnB just to see how it works out with me being on my own and then go from there.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: I did speak to your father about this and he wasn’t too happy about it either. He’s planned a dinner this week to talk about it so you better have a convincing story.
PARIS NATHANIEL: He’s planned a dinner huh? That’s fine. I’m sure he’ll give me some lecture on why I shouldn’t do what I’m doing but the contract has been signed and Brody has been looking for a place for me.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: You know sweetie that Brody looks very familiar, I can’t figure out where I’ve seen him before but I know I’ve seen him somewhere. I really don’t trust him and I think you should watch out!
PARIS NATHANIEL: He’s done nothing but help me and my career take off.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Calm down, I’m just saying watch out that’s all. A mother always knows when evil is around and honey he’s pure evil.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I haven’t seen that side and I don’t think I ever will.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Well just watch out, I think he likes you because I noticed how he was staring at you when he was over, and he seems like the type that likes to prey on the young.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Ok, I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I’m hungry and I want something to eat before this flight back to Philly.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Don’t get mad sweetie, I’m just voicing my opinions.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Well leave them in the vault because I don’t want to hear it. This goes back to me saying just trust me, I can handle this on my own.
KATHERINE GRAHAM: Fine Paris, we can stop at this sub shop and then head back to the hotel and get ready.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Thank you.
Paris leans his head back on the chair and he closes his eyes. Katherine continues driving heading towards the nearest sub shop she could find as the scene fades.

PARIS NATHANIEL: The food was great, I’ve never been there.
The scene opens up inside a black bmw, both Brody Kent and Paris are shown inside getting ready to leave from having dinner at a new restaurant that just opened up in South Philly.
BRODY KENT: Yea the food was good, but the help was horrible. I think our waiter should have been more focused on getting our order right then flirting with you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: He wasn’t flirting Brody, you’re being silly right now.
BRODY KENT: I can tell when someone is being fresh or flirty, I’ve been around a long time so I know.
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m here with you Brody, that’s all that matters. I’m not looking at anyone else but you.
BRODY KENT: I just don’t want you to get caught up with the wrong people. I’m the best that’s happening to right now, professionally and personally and I just don’t want you messing that up because of temptation.
PARIS NATHANIEL: This is starting to get weird now, I feel like your trying to control me or something. I’m allowed to meet people and make friends.
BRODY KENT: With the waiter? The help? What could he possibly do for your career? Trust me Paris I know what I’m talking about.
PARIS NATHANIEL: You honestly don’t know who he knows or who he even is. And you shouldn’t judge a book by it's cover, he wasn’t being flirty, he was being friendly because he wanted a nice tip. And from the amount you dropped on that receipt it seems like you were interested in him also.
BRODY KENT: Again I’m only looking out for you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: And I already have two parents, I don’t need one more.
BRODY KENT: Lets not make this awkward, how about we go back to my place and watch a movie, there’s a couple emails I want to go over with you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: Can we go over them tomorrow, I’m tired and I just want to go home.
Paris leans back in the seat.
BRODY KENT: So your mad now?
PARIS NATHANIEL: I’m just annoyed and it sucks because I had such a good night. This is kind of why I was scared getting involved with you.
BRODY KENT: Why?
PARIS NATHANIEL: You're my manager, and mixing business and pleasure is never a good idea. Your in your feelings over a guy I will never see again probably because he decided to be extra friendly with me but yet here I am sitting in the car with you. It just doesn’t make sense to me and for you to be a lot older than me I shouldn’t have to deal with your insecurities.
BRODY KENT: I’m just looking out for you, that’s all. I apologize for bringing up the waiter, let me make it up to you.
PARIS NATHANIEL: How?
BRODY KENT: The night is still young, I’ll figure something out.
Brody continues driving as Paris sits there wondering where their going next, The scene fades to black.
