DOMO: That’s how you feel about me?
CHASE MANNÌ: I’m only protecting myself. You know I have the assets and the pull, so why not get put on.
DOMO: I’ll keep it cool, I don’t have to be on that shit, I’m not even into that type of life anyway. I just wanna see the people you going to be around so I can make sure you good.
CHASE MANNÌ: When you was locked up I made sure I was good. Everyone thinks because I come from money that I don’t take care of myself, but I do. This is why I’m doing this so I can have my own legacy.
DOMO: But your parents money and their connects is what got you this gig.
CHASE MANNÌ: You serious right now? Is it that important how I got the gig, I got it and that’s all that matters.
DOMO: Alright chill Chase.
CHASE MANNÌ: It’s getting late and I have stuff to do, so maybe we should call it night.

The scene opens up in Atlanta, Chase is shown in his bedroom with his iPhone in hand on a call with one of #theLIFE Producers.
•FaceTime with #theLIFE Producers•
PRODUCER: Were so excited to have you onboard Chase, we just received the final documentation and the contracts from the lawyers and everything is a go.
CHASE MANNÌ: I’m so excited about this opportunity and I’m blessed.
PRODUCER: The only issue we may have is that the cast isn’t familiar with you or the people. But I think with your personality you should fit right in with the cast.
CHASE MANNÌ: I think I can handle it.
PRODUCER: Filming starts in August, so make sure you have a clear schedule and should last up until and maybe after the show premiere.
CHASE MANNÌ: That’s fine.
Chase smiles as he disconnects the call with the producers, he turns and walks into the living room area where his mom Gia Liu is shown watering the plants she brought over.
CHASE MANNÌ: Really Mom? More flowers?
GIA LIU: This room needs it's, it's so dull.
CHASE MANNÌ: It's my place, I think you should let me decorate it the way I want too.
GIA LIU: Now we both know that’ll never happen as long as I’m around, decorating is not you skill, hell it wasn’t your fathers either.
CHASE MANNÌ: How is Dad?
GIA LIU: Maybe you should call him and find out, he misses you dearly.
CHASE MANNÌ: I will one day, I’m just not ready right now. We had a very big blow out and until Dad accepts me and my lifestyle, I just can’t see us having any conversations in the near future.
GIA LIU: Honey it’s more to the story then what your saying, there was some disrespect that played a huge part in why you and your father aren’t speaking right now.
CHASE MANNÌ: I was in love.
GIA LIU: Sweetie, love and lust are two different things but if you think that was love then ok honey.
CHASE MANNÌ: Anyway, I’m on my own and I think I’ve been doing a good job, I haven’t asked you for a dime.
GIA LIU: I never said you did Chase, but money was never the option. Your father and I worked hard so we can provide for you and your sister and so you two could have whatever you wanted in life. We just wanted you to make better decisions.
CHASE MANNÌ: Like marry a female.
GIA LIU: It’s not about your sexuality sweetie, we’ve gotten over that. I don’t think this is a discussion we should be having in front of these cameras.
CHASE MANNÌ: Mom you know I’m about to be on a reality show, I’m new and I’ve been filming stuff here and there just to introduce me to the world so this is needed. We discussed what we were going to talk about and you knew my sexuality was going to be a topic.
GIA LIU: Our family are very private people so this is a lot for me to deal with, I never expected my son to be a celebrity.
CHASE MANNÌ: I’m not a celebrity, I’m just a kid trying to tell his story. I won’t embarrass the family, just trust me.
Gia walks over to Chase and wraps her arms around her son giving him the biggest hug.
GIA LIU: I know you want son, you’ll do us proud.
Chase smiles.
GIA LIU: This place is so tacky Chase, we need to go shopping right now.
CHASE MANNÌ: Really though?
GIA LIU: Yes I am so serious right now, I just can’t stand to be in such distaste, I’m getting a headache.
CHASE MANNÌ: So dramatic.
Chase laughs, the two make their way towards the door leaving out as the scene fades.

ASÀNTE LIU: Brother, bring your ass here.
The scene opens up with Chase shown pulling up in his parents driveway. With his mother inside the car, he parks and the two hop out. Gia hugs her daughter and walks straight into the house leaving both Asànte and Chase standing outside alone.
ASÀNTE LIU: I’m so happy I was done smoking, I told you to text me when you guys were close.
CHASE MANNÌ: Everytime I tried to pick up my phone and send out the warning shot, mom started complaining about texting and driving so I left it alone. But I did text you when we left my house so I just figured you would know when we would pull up.
ASÀNTE LIU: You know Atlanta traffic is iffy, how would I have known if you guys were going to get stuck in traffic or not. But it’s cool I sprayed some of that Chanel perfume so I’m out here smelling like roses.
CHASE MANNÌ: You are crazy, I’ve missed you though.
ASÀNTE LIU: I guess those schools in NY wasn’t cutting it.
CHASE MANNÌ: I missed home, I should have stayed in the first place.
ASÀNTE LIU: I knew you wouldn’t like New York, but I let you learn it on your own. But I knew you would be back!
CHASE MANNÌ: Back and doing big things, I know mommy told you about the TV gig.
ASÀNTE LIU: I heard and that’s a beautiful thing, the good news is we’ll be on it together.
CHASE MANNÌ: Your kidding.
ASÀNTE LIU: They asked me again and I decided to say yes, only because your doing it. I didn’t want you to go on alone and feel a certain way so I’m ready now.
CHASE MANNÌ: Wow, they never said anything to me about it.
ASÀNTE LIU: It was still being discussed, we actually closed the deal today so I wasn’t sure about it. But I wasn’t signing on unless the price was right, I don’t work for cheap.
CHASE MANNÌ: Okkkaayyy.
The two share a dap.
CHASE MANNÌ: I feel even better about this whole thing now, especially if I got you on my side.
ASÀNTE LIU: I haven’t told mom and dad about it but I will, Dads actually inside right now, are you two going to talk today?
CHASE MANNÌ: I always speak when I see him, and I know I haven’t seen him in awhile but I only came over to get the rest of my things, I was hoping he wouldn’t be home.
ASÀNTE LIU: Well he is and eventually you two will have to talk. You have to understand you have a convict living in an apartment that Dad was financing, once that shit got raided and Dad’s name was all over news, of course he would have a reason to be upset.
CHASE MANNÌ: I get all that sis, but we both could have went about that whole situation differently. Dad played a part in this whole mess too. I’m grown Asànte.
ASÀNTE LIU: Every young person's favorite line, remember a grown man is not going to have his father pay his bills.
CHASE MANNÌ: Your sounding like mom now.
ASÀNTE LIU: Sometimes I have too. I won’t force you to talk to him now, but eventually you will have to sit down with him and talk to him. Anyway I can help you gather the rest of your things and we can go back to your place if you want, I have an early meeting on your side of town so it only makes sense for my to crash at your place.
CHASE MANNÌ: Oh, we’re just inviting ourselves over huh?
ASÀNTE LIU: That’s practically my place too, boy you are my brother so what’s yours is ours.
CHASE MANNÌ: Just like when we were kids.
ASÀNTE LIU: And that’ll never change.
CHASE MANNÌ: That’s fine, you can stay with me tonight. I wouldn’t mind the company and plus you’ll be helping me stay out of trouble.
ASÀNTE LIU: A little trouble won’t hurt nobody, but let’s run in here and get this stuff so we can leave. I have a feeling mom is going to try and make her special cake and we be up all night looking at old photos and talk about what we could have done differently in life.
CHASE MANNÌ: Oh how I miss those conversations.
Chase responds sarcastically and then chuckles after.
ASÀNTE LIU: Are you ready for this?
CHASE MANNÌ: Ready then I’ll ever be, but I promise you this time won’t be different from the last. It’ll be a Hi and Bye type of situation, I grab my things and we get the hell out of dodge.
ASÀNTE LIU: That’s not good Chase, but whatever you two bitter selfish fools will get it together eventually.
Chase shrugs, he walks inside his parents house and his sister follows behind him as the scene fades to black.

PHOTOGRAPHER: Pose Chase, that last show was perfect.
The scene opens up outside somewhere downtown Atlanta, Chase is shown taking pictures for a cover he had coming up, striking different poses and putting on a show for the camera, he smiles as he continues to blush over the compliments from Photographer.
PHOTOGRAPHER: These are going to look great on the cover, I can’t wait for these to print.
Chase takes a couple more pictures before stopping and taking a break, he walks over to the snack table and grabs a couple Oreos and water. He walks over to the bench setup for him to sit and he takes a sit, taking a bite out of one of his Oreos and then a sip of water. Chase looks up and notices his Agent walking towards him.
AGENT: Ah the guy I wanted to talk to, I’m glad I was able to make it to the shoot before it was over, traffic was a bitch.
CHASE MANNÌ: What’s up Nathan?
NATHAN BOYD: Besides your calendar dates, the money in both our accounts I’m sure.
CHASE MANNÌ: I’m not complaining, I didn’t expect to see you here.
NATHAN BOYD: Well I always like to check up on my clients, especially when I have good news.
CHASE MANNÌ: Good news huh? I’m ready to hear.
NATHAN BOYD: I have a couple shows lined up for you to host, a few events. People are interested in meeting the new “it” kid of #theLIFEATL. More photo shoots lined up, like your life is about to get crazy.
CHASE MANNÌ: It’s already crazy and that sounds dope, some jobs I’ll take while others I may have to sit out. I don’t want to be one of those people that is limited to just club gigs, I want bigger then that so I just don’t want to make it a habit.
NATHAN BOYD: The money is good.
CHASE MANNÌ: I’m sure it is but Nathan you’ve worked with my family all of these years and you know money has never been an issue. I appreciate you finding the work but just know I’m not going to accept every job, don’t worry your money is secure.
NATHAN BOYD: Well just let me know what jobs your interested in and I’ll book the dates, but is everything ok? I just figured you would be a little more excited about this.
CHASE MANNÌ: I’ve moved from New York to Atlanta and since I’ve been here, it’s been a nonstop work. I didn’t even get a day to rest because the day after I arrived, I hosted a gig and did two promotional shoots with #theLIFE which took all freakin day. I’m just tired Nathan that’s all, but listen deep down inside I’m screaming for joy because of these jobs.
NATHAN BOYD: Now that’s what I want to hear.
CHASE MANNÌ: You are to funny right now.
NATHAN BOYD: There is a luncheon that the producers host for all the casts to kind of meet and greet before filming starts. They go over the rules of the show and basically what’s involved to produce a successful season and that is mandatory.
CHASE MANNÌ: That’s fine, I’ve met some of the guys already but maybe a meeting before filming starts makes sense. And when is this?
NATHAN BOYD: First week of August which is around the same time filming starts, Your going to be busy sir so I suggest you get ready no personal life and it looks like the photographer is ready for you. I have other clients to meet with before it gets late so if any questions or whatever jobs you decide on, just let me know. Here’s a copy of the stuff I have lined up and you get back to me when you decide what you want to do.
CHASE MANNÌ: Sounds great.
Nathan extends his hand shaking Chase’s, Nathan turns and walks towards the opposite direction leaving Chase sitting there. Chase goes to take another bite of his Oreo but he ends up putting the Oreo down along with the water and walking back over to where the photographer was standing. The two share a couple ideas for poses and the scene cuts to black.
