JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Are you fucking kidding me right now? You can’t be serious.
The scene opens up inside of Jeremiah’s condo downtown LA. Jeremiah is shown walking around his kitchen with just a bathrobe on and his Versace slippers. He hops up on the counter with his feet dangling towards the bottom and he yells through his phone.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’m sick of people trying to block my blessings, tell that bitch I’ll sue her ass if she tries me again like that.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: If it’s not one thing it’s another, but what’s happening world? This shit has been a long time coming but I knew we would finally make it here, sadly it’s around the time my own mother is trying to slander me, but that’s what happens when you got money involved, and I mean money on top of money.
Jeremiah pulls cash out of his pocket, making it rain on the floor.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Minus the personal drama I have going on with the family, my professional life is back to where it needs to be, I cashing more checks and that’s probably why I got these people coming after me. See my mother use to manage me back in the day but ever since I dropped her, she’s trying to block jobs from booking me and trying to take food out of my mouth, I’m ya flesh and blood. I needed to figure shit out and figure it out ASAP.
The scene cuts back to Jeremiah, he hops off the countertop and walks over to his front door. After hearing a knock for the second time, Jeremiah opens the door and standing on the other side is Mia Snow. Mia rolls her eyes as she brushes pass Jeremih and heads towards the living room. Jeremiah closes the door behind her and he joins her in the living room.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Look I have to go, we can talk about this later. (Jeremiah disconnects the call.) Anyway, what’s going on?
MIA SNOW: What’s all that about? Are you ok?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: You know nothing can bring me down, just some unnecessary bullshit that will eventually go away.
MIA SNOW: Well whatever it is I hope it’s taken care of, because these next few weeks will be busy for you.
MIA SNOW: Hey World, Mia here. You guys probably remember me from my famous little squabble with Alex Jacobs, oh wait she’s a Magnum now.
Mia laughs sarcastically.
MIA SNOW: Allegedly, or supposedly. Whatever you get the idea, and I’m also known for my DJ skills, one of the hottest DJ’s LA or the world has ever witnessed. I did my modeling back in the day but I’ve left that along and moved onto bigger things, give these new girls and old struggling girls a chance again.
Mia winks at the camera.
MIA SNOW: As you know Jeremiah and I have history, we use to mess around and have a thing for each other which is one of the reasons why certain people don’t like me, but who cares, I’m still here and we have a great relationship minus how things ended. I’ll always have Jeremiah’s back because he’s always had mine.
The scene cuts back to Mia and Jeremiah.
JEREMIAH KING: More jobs huh?
MIA SNOW: Yes and don’t forget you have that huge meeting with that wrestling company about signing a contract, you said you wanted to get back in the ring so let’s keep that in mind.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I still do, I haven’t forgotten. But what else you talking about Mia?
MIA SNOW: I mean same stuff honestly, the man from Warner bros is still calling my line about putting you in that movie.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: The one thing I will say about you is that ever since I signed you on to help me with my career, the work has been coming in.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: That's one thing I liked about Mia is that she looked out for me. That’s rare in friendships, at least in mines.
Jeremiah shrugs as the scene cuts back to the two.
MIA SNOW: I mean I care about you as a person, it’s not just business between us. I want to see you win especially with everything you’ve been through, look at this whole thing. You’ve fought so hard for this to happen and it’s happening.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Even when people thought it wasn’t going to happen, it did.
MIA SNOW: And let’s not forget the people who tried to stop it from happening to because they couldn’t get their way.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: About that, just let it go. We all know friendships change, that’s what happens so I’m not concerned and neither should you be concerned.
MIA SNOW: Oh I’m not, my checks still come regardless.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I can agree to that.
MIA SNOW: I’m starving and I already know the only thing you have in here is cereal and sandwich meat, two things I don’t want so let’s go grab some In and Out.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Damn, you ready to take that hike for a burger?
MIA SNOW: It is a hike huh? I guess Chipotle will do.
The two laugh as the scene fades and reopens Tampa, FL. Jada is shown inside her apartment packing a suitcase, sitting next to her is her brother Elijah Montè, her adopted brother.
JADA MONTANA: I hate packing.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I don’t know why you don’t just buy a place in LA so you can just leave stuff there.
JADA MONTANA: I know, I can putting that shit aside because I really don’t want to be there. It’s nice for work but to buy a place there would mean I would have to be there more than I want to be.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: Look it makes it easier for the both of us.
JADA MONTANA: I know my brother was tired of helping me pack every other week for a trip somewhere but it’s apart of his job, he wanted to help out and be involved with my type of work and I told him I could help him get there but it wasn’t coming free of charge. He needed to work for it just like how I worked for it, call me harsh or call it tough love but he needed to know nothing in life was free.
Jada smiles as the scene cuts back to the two.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I’m happy I’m coming with you this time, there’s a couple auditions I want to go to.
JADA MONTANA: I’m happy that you trying to accomplish all your dreams, LA is the place to do it but trust me bro it’s hard. You have me for help and support but just know it won’t be easy at first.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: Oh I already know, but I know a couple people that could probably look out for me.
JADA MONTANA: So are you going to use Elijah or Kane when you get out there?
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I don’t know, I mean my real name is Elijah Kane Montè, so I was thinking just sticking to Elijah since that’s what everyone knows me as.
JADA MONTANA: Thats love that you took our last name, I was so sure that mom and dad adopted you it wouldn’t change. That wanted you to keep your same identity and all since you were of age but it was your decision to change it.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I wanted to feel like the family, really be apart of the family.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: The Montè family adopted me when I was ten years old, by that age I already had a personality and identity so they were pretty big on letting me decide if I wanted to keep my real last name or change to theirs, my decision was to use theirs. You would think at that age I wouldn’t know how important a last name could be, well I did.
The scene cuts back to Elijah and Jada.
JADA MONTANA: It made mom and dad happy, But I didn’t care either way, in my mind you were still my brother.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I appreciate that, but when I go out sometimes I rep the Montana name, ha that’s how I get into the clubs for free.
JADA MONTANA: Look at you taking advantage of ya sisters come up. I ain’t mad at you though!
ELIJAH MONTÈ: I probably should pack too, I’ve been in here helping you all this time. Minus all of this, are you happy to going to LA? I mean I know you have friends there you haven’t seen in awhile.
JADA MONTANA: I guess so, I wouldn’t say I have friends there, maybe 1 or 2 but not many. I haven’t been around the LA crew in a while, nor have I been invited too, I know Jeremiah has been busy with his business he’s opening and Mia of course has been doing the DJ thing.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: What about Alex J?
JADA MONTANA: You know what? I haven’t really talked to Alex in a few weeks, ever since the baby was born I think.
JADA MONTANA: Now that’s one of the friendships that has changed, I won't say anything about her though, we’re just on different paths right now.
The scene cuts back to Jada and Elijah.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: Well whatever the issue is, I hope you guys can fix it.
JADA MONTANA: Trust it’s no issue and no one should make it into one. She’s doing her own thing being a mother right now and I’m still walking these runways and covering these magazines, so I’m sure we’ll cross paths eventually.
ELIJAH MONTÈ: Hey, if it happens then it happens.
Elijah continues to help Jada pack her bags and the scene fades and reopens in Las Vegas. Braelyn’s dance studio is shown and the scene cuts inside, Braelyn is shown finishing up a dance practice with some of her students. The music plays in the background and all the students including Braelyn hit it to the dance floor and start moving.
BRAELYN MONROE: I know y’all probably looking at the screen wondering what the I’m hell im doing on it. Well believe it baby because ya girl Braelyn is here and making an even bigger name for myself.
Braelyn smiles, she winks at the camera.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’ve been in my own little bubble since I left Pride and I know everyone is probably like damn, Pride. Yes it’s been that long, now I’ve dipped my hands in a few little projects here and there but recently my main focus has been my classes and my students. Today I was putting on a free hip hop dance tutorial for the neighborhood and the turnout was great. I even got a few new people to sign up and become actual students. So you already know I was hype, but anyway, after the class I was meeting up with my sister just so we could catch up with each other since she was visiting Vegas for a few days.
The scene cuts back to Braelyn inside the studio, she finishes the class and dismissing her students, a few minutes go by and finally Braelyn is joined by her sister Bridgette.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: Sister gurl, what the fuck is up?
BRAELYN MONROE: Girl chill out, I still got some kids in here.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: Oh sorry, I didn’t see their smalls asses sitting over there. Ugh, I’ve miss you!
Bridgette rushes over to her sister and gives her a huge hug.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’ve missed you too sis, you should visit us more often.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: You already know I stay out of Vegas as much as possible, just not my thing and we both know LA is much better. I’m still trying to get you to move there.
BRAELYN MONROE: Yeah! Yeah! I’m still thinking about it, Vegas is already expensive enough so I know LA is going to be worst.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: I know a few people there that can get you a good deal on a place.
BRAELYN MONROE: Oh gosh you and these people that you know, I don’t know if I’m interested in meeting them after our last experience.
BRAELYN MONROE: My sister had introduced me to a guy back when I was trying to get my career jumping, well instead of helping me the man was trying to con me out of thousands of dollars, as you can see I said “tried.” I’m smarter than my sister, he may have tricked her but that would have never worked with me.
Braelyn rolls her eyes.
BRAELYN MONROE: I still hold some resentment towards her for that.
The scene cuts back to Braelyn and her sister Bridgette.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: That's the past, so let’s leave it there.
BRAELYN MONROE: Of course you want to leave it there because it didn’t affect you. Remember I told you to stop running around with these busters who are only about a quick dollar.
BRIDGETTE MONROE: Ok Mom! Anyway, can we go get some food or are you going to sit back and lecture me all day?
BRAELYN MONROE: Yes we can get some food, all that dancing has my stomach in knots.
Braelyn grabs her things and the two make their way out of the building, the scene fades and reopens in Malibu, CA. The scene cuts to a bar close to the beach and sitting at the bar is Yeshua Banner. Yeshua takes his first shirt and then orders another drink, he notices a female on the opposite side and he winks her way causing her to blush.
YESHUA BANNER: Still got it.
Yeshua takes his second drink to the head and places it back on the bar top. He turns and bumps into Sky Townsend who was meeting him at the beach anyway.
YESHUA BANNER: Damn, you can’t be sneaking up on a nigga like that.
SKY TOWNSEND: I saw you sitting here when I drove by, you already getting toasted without me.
Sky laughs as she embraces Yeshua.
YESHUA BANNER: You already know I had me a few, I was about to go jump in the ocean because my body was feeling hot, I probably took them shots back to quick.
SKY TOWNSEND: Typical Yeshua can’t handle his alcohol.
SKY TOWNSEND: Yeshua was the type that could never handle his alcohol, now don’t get me wrong he wasn’t sloppy with it but it was always fun to see him drunk. We go way back though, we all kind of grew up together but later in life, we all went our separate ways to live our own adult lives. So it’s good that we all got the chance to reconnect and be around each other a lot more now!
The scene cuts back to Sky and Yeshua, the two walk back towards the bar. Yeshua sits down and Sky orders them both a drink.
SKY TOWNSEND: So what have you been up to lately? How’s Richie Rich?
YESHUA BANNER: I guess since my relationship with Richie was out in the open, Everyone was comfortable enough to talk to me about it or even bring it up. But I still wasn’t, I didn’t mind going public with us being together but that didn’t mean I still needed to talk about it everyday, all day.
Yeshua sighs.
YESHUA BANNER: But since Sky was like family, I didn’t mind talking to her about it.
The scene cuts back to Yeshua and Sky.
YESHUA BANNER: He’s cool. I’m still new to all this so it’s no pressure.
SKY TOWNSEND: Yea trust I was shocked when I saw it all unfold because I never knew, but I still love you regardless.
YESHUA BANNER: I still fuck with bitches so don’t forget that, I’m just rocking with him right now because that’s what I’m feeling, but I don’t think
I’m completely done with females.
SKY TOWNSEND: I knew what Yeshua was going through was probably difficult because I would have never guessed he had this attraction to men. But I don’t judge others on how they live their lives, if he likes both then good for him. Me being his friend will never change, hell now we can probably check guys out together.
Sky chuckles sarcastically.
SKY TOWNSEND: He would probably curse me out if he ever found out I said that, oh my god y’all have to edit that part out.
Sky smiles as the scene cuts back to the two.
SKY TOWNSEND: Well like you said in the beginning just take your time with it.
YESHUA BANNER: bet. But enough about all that shit, has anyone reached out or seen Alex?
SKY TOWNSEND: Now you know that’s a question never to ask me.
YESHUA BANNER: Wait, what? I thought y’all was cool or was that only for social media?
SKY TOWNSEND: Look I understand we fake made up online but in reality she still has a problem, but I don’t care. I’m in London handling fashion business and she’s off somewhere playing “Mommy”.
SKY TOWNSEND: I guess everyone assumed that me and the girl would stay cool but that didn’t last long. I haven’t seen or talked to her since she had her baby, I said my congratulations and got no response, so maybe it’s her that’s still in her feelings.
The scene cuts back to Yeshua and Sky.
SKY TOWSEND: I don’t want to spend too much on that girl because then she’ll got a boost out of her name being mentioned and she’ll run with it. I wish her the best but you already know I’ve never been the one for fake friendships.
YESHUA BANNER: Damn, no words.
YESHUA BANNER: Look I don’t know what the issue was with these two because I could have sworn the drama was squashed, but I guess it was never squashed.
Yeshua shrugs.
YESHUA BANNER: It had been a few months since I’ve last seen or talked to Alex, the last time we had an interaction is when I got a chance to meet her baby but since then she’s been ghost on everybody. But the next time I run into her, I was going to see what was up with her and Sky.
The scene cuts back to Yeshua and Sky.
SKY TOWNSEND: You should ask Richie if he has any straight male friends he can hook me up with.
Yeshua laughs almost spitting up his drink.
YESHUA BANNER: Yo chill, you know that boy don’t have any of those. But I’ll run it past him and see what he has to say.
SKY TOWNSEND: Yes, please do. Ha!
The two continue their drinking and hanging out as the scene fades and reopens showing Jeremiah pulling up to the airport. He notices Jada standing on the outside and he pulls up next to her. Jada tosses her bag in the backseat and then hops in the front seat
JADA MONTANA: I love a quick flight and a empty one at that.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Nah that’s just daddies money.
JADA MONTANA: You do know he gave me access to my own plane, it was a gift.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: It’s still daddies money though, but I’m not hating.
JADA MONTANA: It sounds like a bunch a hate, but y’all wanted me here quickly as you said so private was the best way to go.
JADA MONTANA: I just touched down in LA and I’m already feeling love from Jeremiah. It’s not my fault everyone can’t afford the luxury of flying private but I’m just one of those people that can do that.
Jada blows a kiss at the camera.
JADA MONTANA: But I’m not knocking anyone who can’t though. Anyway I asked Jeremiah to pick me up from the airport and I was appreciative that he was letting me stay at his crib for the night. It’s been a minute since we’ve hung out, so any time
together felt nice to me.
The scene cuts back to Jada and Jeremiah, the two are shown flying down the interstate in Jeremiah’s ‘18 Dodge Durango making their way towards his house.
JADA MONTANA: So LA must be treating you nice, new place and now a new car, what happened to the Honda?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Oh you got jokes now.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Ok, so back in the day I use to drive a Honda, I wasn’t the flashy type when it came to cars, I still wanted to do the old school, I don’t have money type of shit even though I did have the money.
Jeremiah shrugs.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: But yes I finally got rid of the Honda and moved onto something bigger and nicer and even though it ain’t your typical foreign like the rest of these cats riding around it, the shit worked for me.
The scene cuts back to Jeremiah and Jada, the two reach a Taco Bell and make their way thru the drivethru. Both order food and Jeremiah pulls over in the parking lot and starts eating his tacos.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: This shit is hitting the spot.
JADA MONTANA: You must got the munchies.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’m just hungry, period. And these tacos doing it for me right now.
JADA MONTANA: Reminds me of the old times, like when the whole crew would get together.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Who have you heard from recently or talked to?
JADA MONTANA: Just the people that wanna y’all to me, but I’m sure I’ll see everyone while I’m here.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON:That should be fun, but until then we can go back to the crib, you get comfortable and then we’ll figure out the rest of the night from there.
JADA MONTANA: Sounds like a plan to me.
The two continue riding out to Jeremiah’s house and the scene fades and reopens up inside of a huge building where a private fashion is being thrown by Chanel. Mia Snow is shown rushing around backstage of the show trying to make sure all her pieces are put together. She throws a long dress on with the Chanel word embedded on the sides and she hits the runway. She walks thinking she’s Naomi Campbell and struts down the runway. She poses and turns before heading to the back.
MIA SNOW: Tonight was a private show for Chanel, just to showcase a couple pieces that hasn’t hit the fashion world yet. And of course I was asked to not only walk in the show but to also DJ the after party so you know I was already hyped.
Mia smiles.
MIA SNOW: This was such a huge opportunity for me because I was able to not only do what I love to do and that’s be the best supermodel the world has ever witness and I get to show off my skills as DJ, hopefully it brings me more gigs.
The scene cuts back to Mia who once again is strutting down the runway. She poses for a few pictures before making her way to the back again, the scene fades to later that evening at a local club downtown LA. Inside Mia is shown wearing a pair of tight jeans and a Chanel cut up shirt, drenched in diamonds she stands behind the DJ booth and starts blasting out hits.
MIA SNOW: The club was packed and the music was loud and I was enjoying every bit of it. Even though I was tired from being up since 5 this morning, This right here is what keeps me going. And I was happy that my friends showed up to support me.
The scene cuts back to the club and Mia is shown still turning tables on the DJ booth. The scene cuts to Jeremiah and Sky who is on the side sipping on their drinks.
SKY TOWNSEND: I didn’t know Mia had these type of skills.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Nah she’s the truth behind those tables yo, I been told her to keep up with this DJ thing.
SKY TOWNSEND: She should, but where the hell did Jada go?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: She went to grab us some more drinks.
The scene cuts to Jada who is on the other side of the club turning up. She grabs her drink from the bartender and the two more for Sky and Jeremiah. She turns and bumps into one of club patrons and gets irritated for spilling some of the alcohol on her expensive outfit.
JADA MONTANA: Yo bro, can you watch where you're going?
CLUB JUNKIE: Bitch! You bumped into me.
JADA MONTANA: Bitch? Yea you must be drunk.
JADA MONTANA: This was one of the reasons why I didn’t like coming to LA, the people here usually were always drunk or high with some
Sort of attitude. But I’m here to support Mia, so I guess I’ll have to deal with the bullshit.
The scene cuts back to Jada who is shown still arguing with the guy inside the club. She takes one of her drinks and tosses it on the guy.
JADA MONTANA: Get out face weirdo, I’m
not here for the bullshit.
Jada starts to walk away but the guy grabs her by the arm pulling him closer to his body. Jada turns and swings on the guy connecting with his face knocking him to floor.
JADA MONTANA: Don't put your hands on me boy.
By this time both Jeremiah and Sky make their way over to where Jada was standing. Sky comforts Jada as Jeremiah starts threatening the guy.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Yo, get the fuck out of here dude.
The club junkie gets to his feet and awkwardly walks away from everyone else. The three walk over to their VIP section and sit down giving to the music.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Can you believe how some people act these days, that shit is crazy.
JADA MONTANA: He lucky I didn’t get really mad because I would have dropped his ass right there.
SKY TOWNSEND: I’m just happy it didn’t get to out of hand, we don’t want to ruin Mia’s little gig.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I think she peeped what was going on, I saw her looking over here.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I already knew Jada didn’t need my help, but it’s human nature for me to come to her defense.
Jeremiah laughs.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Lucky for him that I was there because if I wasn’t then Jada probably would have beaten his ass.
The scene cuts back to the three still inside the VIP area. Mia does a couple more turns on the DJ booth table before handing it over to one of the other DJ’s standing with her. She jumps down from DJ booth and meets with a few people in the audience before making her way over to the VIP section.
MIA SNOW: I booked a DJ gig for tonight’s after party for the private Chanel show I walked and while I was behind the booth, I noticed some drama happening in the crowd and it was involving my friends so I had to step away and see what the hell was going on.
The scene cuts back to the afterparty, Mia is shown forcing her way through the crowded club until she finally reaches the rest of the crew.
MIA SNOW: So what the hell just happened? I was behind the booth and all I saw was Jada throwing a drink on someone.
JADA MONTANA: Girl nothing, just some drunk ass man trying to make me get out of pocket.
SKY TOWNSEND: Jada got him right together.
MIA SNOW: Oh I wasn’t worried she couldn’t defend herself, I just have people here that I don’t want to see that type of behavior but luckily it ended quicker then it started.
JADA MONTANA: I got your back.
JADA MONTANA: I knew how important this night was to Mia so yes I wanted to make sure the night went the way it was suppose to.
The scene cuts back to the VIP section, a dance song plays in the background the group sit around giving to the music and taking shot after shot.
JADA MONTANA: I don’t know if I can keep up with y’all, that’s like my fifth shot.
SKY TOWNSEND: And it’s more coming.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Don’t chicken out now, it’s been so long since we’ve all been together so let’s make this night a good one.
Jada smiles, Jeremiah hands her another shot and she takes it back without hesitation and they all continue to party as the scene fades to black.
