VIXEN DIARIES
SEASON 2, EPISODE 2: After the Party
The scene opens up inside of a local studio in LA. Cameras pan through the area, passing various studio sessions before stopping in from of studio C. Inside, Trina Dupree is shown behind the mic in the booth wrapping up a session. She exits the booth and comes out to sit with her manager, Drake Andrews.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Yooooo! That was like that!
TRINA DUPREE: You fucked with that?
DRAKE ANDREWS: Man. Lemme tell you. When we polish up these last few tracks and put this thing out...Fiyah. that's all i can say.
Trina smiles, flipping her hair before she takes a seat next to Drake.[/div]
TRINA DUPREE: I have been spending most of my time in the studio. This upcoming EP just has to be perfect. I have a lot of people in my corner rooting for me and mouths to feed. And this record just might be the ticket. Drake has definitely been an epic producer. And manager. That man has the magic touch. But I've been dating a new guy and he's been a little jealous of the amount of time we have been spending together. I keep trying to explain to him that it's not that type of party. Drake has had a reputation, and after Ricky saw us together at Angelicas show, I guess his eyes got a lil wide over nothing. I'm about my music. And I'm about Ricky. So i invited him to our studio session today so i could put to rest any doubts he might have. Hopefully this all goes well. Both these niggas is crazy.
The scene returns to the studio.
TRINA DUPREE: Soooo. I need to rap with you about something real quick.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Wussup?
TRINA DUPREE: I invited Ricky my dude today.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Okay? You know you got deadlines. Don't get distracted. This studio time is money ma.
TRINA DUPREE: I know. I know! I just wanted you to meet him real quick.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Fuck i need to meet ya dude for?
TRINA DUPREE: Drake just do it for me. Please! He been tripping real heavy about me spending so much time in the studio with you.
As she is talking, there is a knock at the door. Her boyfriend, rapper, Ricky Barnes pops his head in the door. Trina motions for him to come in. She gives him a hug and a kiss on the cheek before they go back to the seats.
TRINA DUPREE: We just wrapped up the last track babe. We were just about to play it back. You wanna hear it?
RICKY BARNES: That's wussup.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Before we do that, lets just jump into why you really here bruh.
Ricky cuts his eyes toward Drake before directing his attention back to his girl
RICKY BARNES: I knew of Drake through his music. But i never met him personally until the fashion show. I know he got a lil reputation in these streets for artista lil more than working with his artists. And they just looked a lil too cozy for me. I wouldn't be a man if I didn't address it. So i came up here to see what shit was for myself. It can either go good. Or if it need to go another route, it could be that too.
The scene returns to the studio. Ricky turns his attention back to Drake. Drake raises his eyebrow, annoyed
DRAKE ANDREWS: So what's good? This studio time ain't free man. I ain't got time for this.
RICKY BARNES: Bet. So you know what's good. You know why I'm here. I feel like you pressin up on my girl.
Drake laughs, shaking his head
RICKY BARNES: What's the joke?
DRAKE ANDREWS: The joke is yall insecure ass dudes man. You got problems witcha girl, address them wit her. Not me. I ain't bout to sit here and coddle no grown ass man.
RICKY BARNES: I'm coming to you as a man dude. I saw some shit i aint like and instead of causing a scene at your homegirl event, i waited for a better time to address shit.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Naaaah, you knew you was gon look stupid as fuck so you kept ya mouth closed. You know I'm not fuckin ya bitch.
TRINA DUPREE: Excuse you!
DRAKE ANDREWS: My bad. You know what i mean man. But this shit mad annoying. I deal with this shit all the time. I'm tryna keep mu shit together in my own relationship. I don't need this extra shit. We not fucking. We getting this money. Ain't no time for shit else.
TRINA DUPREE: That's what i try to explain to him.
TRINA DUPREE: This is honestly stupid as fuck. And embarrassing. I kinda regret inviting him up here, cuz its making me have second thoughts about him. Why can't he just trust me when i say I'm about him and only him?
The scene returns to the studio.
TRINA DUPREE: Like i have explained to you a thousand times, there is nothing going on between us. At this point you can believe me or don't. I'm tired of defending myself about this.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Yo. I'm kinda over all this so imma dip out. Y'all clearly got some issues yall need to work out. And it's not gon happen on my studio time.
Drake gets up to leave as the scene fades and reopens inside of Miaās LA condo, the scene shows different rooms before switching to her basement where her studio is. Mia is shown finishing the last touches on a song/rap she was writing.
MIA COCAINE: Iāve been so serious about my music, a lot of these hoes out here claiming they real rap but they havenāt heard all my shit yet. I dropped a track called Cheat On Me a few weeks back, yeah it may have only been a feature but the way the song is buzzing, the people want more.
Mia laughs sarcastically.
MIA COCAINE: Look itās no shade to these other bitches but my shit is on point. Thatās why I needed to hear more opinions from other people, my homeboy Katch was back in LA and hit me up about hanging. Now Katch and I have history, a few months ago we were kicking it and planned on being in a relationship but it didnāt work out that way. Now I donāt hold any ill feelings towards him, but at the same time a bitch didnāt have her hopes up.
Mia shakes her head.
MIA COCAINE: Katch was cool, but I just wasnāt up for the games. My music was way too important to me right now and I didnāt need some dude coming in my life and messing it up.
The scene cuts back to Mia, she walks over to her security system and looks into the screen. She notices Katch pulling up in his foreign and a smile appears on her face. Mia makes her way down the long hallway and heads down the staircase, she walks over to her door and stands there in a pair of skinny jeans and a small drop top. She opens it and watches Katch pull up and park.
KATCH: So Iām back in my city, fresh off tour. Been getting back to things that make a āB-Dawgā happy. Aside from spending time with my daughter, and making my music? Itās spending time with Mia, and itās deep. When I was going through legal issues, she was either in court with me or banging my phone line making sure things were A1. My daughter even loves her, asking me when Mia coming back so she can show her some new makeup.
Katch smiles and runs his hand through his beard.
KATCH: We didnāt work out the way we was hoping for, but she know whatās up. I aināt going nowhere and neither is she man.
The scene cuts back to Katch whoās seen reaching back into his red Bugatti Veyron pulling out a single candle. Smiling as he spots Mia, he heads on over and brings her in for a tight hug.
KATCH: How you been?!
MIA COCAINE: Iāve been good, been busy in the studio trying to get this EP out, but you would know that if you was around more.
Mia playfully mushes Katch, the two make their way into the house. Mia walks over to the bar setup and pulls out two cups.
MIA COCAINE: But seriously, what have you been up to? I've missed you a little bit.
Katch sits the candle down on the bar smiling from ear to ear, before leaning forward.
KATCH: You know I missed your brazy ass too! But Iāve been putting together this new mixtape, the deal with buying out NSE was successful and I passed it over to ManMan with no problems. So we got the label ourselves, that trying to stay out of trouble, and seeing Kali. You know how my days be when you not around.
KATCH: Okay so for those of you who donāt know, North Star Entertainment had gone belly up. They was leeching all of their talents. Artists, musicians, models, actors, athletes, all of us started feeling it once Bartholomew left the company. They started doing extra shit sapping funds, then wanted to force all of their talent to these hectic schedules to keep bringing in money to them. So I staged up a revolt so to speak, I called up everyone I knew, had them tell the ones they knew. Just do you, nothing but independent mixtapes, independent shoots, tours, all that just so NSE didnāt get a dime off of us.
Katch adjusts his snapback to face the back.
KATCH: Iām talking everyone started up they own shit, businesses, mini labels, clothing lines, we was on. NSE was trying to grab on but couldnāt and ended up selling off all itās branches. Guess whoās ballin ass bought that hoe? Chico did! Haha! I bought it, and all of us artists who were signed had a sit down. They wanted me to hold it down and own the company under my Blood Money company, but I know the OG Earl, and my nigga ManMan know how to run a smooth ship. With Dre looming in the background itās been smooth sailing.
The scene cuts back to Katch whoās messing with small things on the bar, sliding them from hand to hand.
KATCH: Iāll start being around more though. I know I was more in and out like fast food, but baby girl talking about missing me and trying to get this EP done, you know Chuck right here with you.
MIA COCAINE: Congratulations on the deal though, thatās some big shit. But yea the EP thing, I wanted to talk to you about that. I know you was trying to help me but I was on a deadline so I had some other people help me.
MIA COCAINE: Thereās no way that Katch could be mad, now maybe when I tell him who it was then Iām sure heāll be disappointed a little, but hey he dipped and I needed to get this EP done, I did what I needed to do.
Mia shrugs and the scene cuts back to the two.
MIA COCAINE: I donāt know if you knew Yeshua Banner or Micah Gray but those two are the homies, like family to me so theyāve been helping me and for free to, like before I got my own studio they were letting me use theirs and not charging me.
Mia hesitates before mentioning the last name.
MIA COCAINE: And Mason been helping me too.
Katch sucks his teeth before stroking his beard.
KATCH: Yeah, Iāve heard of the other dudes from you and a few others in the business so thatās whatās up. But Mason?
Katch looks at Mia before shaking his head and grinning a little bit.
KATCH: Now I know Mia and this Mason dude dated, I didnāt need all the details. None of my concern, but I do know that if she back getting involved with dude?
Katch sighs.
KATCH: Then I need to see whatās up with it before I end up, on the wrong end of the stick feel me?
The scene cuts back to the two.
KATCH: So yaāll two back to being a dynamic duo or something?
Katch casually approaches Mia.
MIA COCAINE: See I knew you was going to trip, itās nothing like that. To be honest Mason was the only one who believed in my first and plus you wasnāt claiming me or what we have so what did you expect me to do.
Mia grabs Katchās hand.
MIA COCAINE: Look trust me if it was something more than I would tell you, I thought I was doing the right thing by telling you.
MIA COCAINE: I can understand Katch being in his feelings a bit because at one point Mason and I were messing around, but thatās the past and this is now.
The scene cuts back to Mia and Katch.
MIA COCAINE: Itās just music, trust me.
Katch sighs and nods.
KATCH: Yeah, Iām glad you told me. Before it got to me on some other shit. But on Piru, you know damn well I been trying to claim you.
Katch says jokingly, breaking the small tension he had building up..
KATCH: I trust you, just know if I hear about some shit on breaking news Iām flipping tables.
KATCH: Miaās kept it a buck with Chuck since day one, so I believe her. But just as long as her ex knows itās just music then I got no ill feelings or nothing like that. Iām more happy that sheās getting to do work like sheās been wanting to do.
The scene cuts back to Katch kissing Mia on the forehead.
KATCH: Iām back now and Iām just glad you out here working, proud of you. Can try and get some of the people at Ruthless to listen to some of it.
MIA COCAINE: Well you know Iāve been on my independent shit for the longest, dropping stuff on iTunes and social media so I donāt know if I want to go the label route.
Mia pauses.
MIA COCAINE: Even though the money upfront Is probably better, I just donāt know about being locked in something that I may regret later, Iām sure you would make sure Iām taken care of but I still need to weigh out all my options.
KATCH: Off tops Iād make sure youāre looked after, but just know I got the info on it. Itās not like most labels chaining you down. But gotta do whatās best for you. You know Iām supporting you whichever way you decide to go.
Katch messes with Mia tapping her chin with his thumb.
MIA COCAINE: Oh I almost forgot, my friend North is going to be staying with me for a few days until her place is finished, I was hoping you may know someone I can hook her up with. Sheās been single for a minute now and Iāve been trying to get her back out there but she acting all shy. And I mean someone good Katch, not one of your gangsta friends that will hurt her.
Mia giggles.
MIA COCAINE: Sheās a cutie too.
Mia pulls her phone out and shows Katch a picture of North.
KATH: Now is she crazy like you? My homie from 60ās might need to line it up.
Katch laughs as he reaches into his pocket grabbing his phone and begins texting.
KATCH: Okay, so my boy Hussle been rockinā with me for a minute. Before the fame I met my nigga at a show in Santa Monica. Blood was six-ohād out, had the chucks with the blue strings, nappy braids, khaki suit creased. Me being from Cedar I had to ask homie who he was flaggin so hard. The rest been history, I done said him go through it. Losing his apartment, his car, his love, all of that shit. So if anyone can see being with this North girl, is someone who I know deserves a little baecation.
Katch dramatically opens his arms wide before quickly slapping his hands together as the scene cuts back to the two.
KATCH: Now, you know he bangā¦ But he really cool and I know he not gonna dog her out. Iām his boy, you my lady. We got SOME home training.
Katch laughs as he slides his phone onto the bar.
MIA COCAINE: Hmmmā¦ I donāt know because you hang around a bunch of Gās and she not that type of chick but Iāll set something up.
Mia smiles, she grabs ahold of Katchās hand and pulls him toward the bedroom.
MIA COCAINE: But how about you show me how much youāve missed me.
The two head into the bedroom as the scene fades and reopens in the hills of Hollywood, the scene cuts to a stand-alone home up on one of the hilltops, surrounded by trees and a lot of land, the scene fades inside where Miami Drexel is shown walking around wear a one piece suit. She makes her way outside to the jacuzzi area, carrying two glasses of wine, she climbs inside of jacuzzi joining Nicki ā¢ Li who was already sitting inside the jacuzzi.
MIAMI DREXEL: What's going on world? Itās ya girl Miami Drexel and I just finished purchasing my first home in LA and even though I did it a few days ago, I finally moved in and got everything situated, I wasnāt playing no games because I hate clutter.
Miami shakes her head.
MIAMI DREXEL: But I wonāt give myself all the credit because without my homegirl Nicki ā¢ Li who just recently moved to LA I probably would still be trying to put shit together.
Miami smiles as the scene cuts back to the two in the jacuzzi.
NICKI ā¢ LI: I appreciate you letting me stay with you until my place is ready.
MIAMI DREXEL: I donāt know why you just didnāt buy a home, building from the ground up takes so much work and patience.
NICKI ā¢ LI: Because itās mines and I can do whatever I want to it and who knows if I decide to sell it later I know for a fact itāll be worth a lot of money, but I plan on making it my home forever.
MIAMI DREXEL: Well you can stay here as long as you want, Iām enjoying the company. Since Cameron been spending more time with his father, Iāve been feeling alone.
MIAMI DREXEL: Cameron is my son and the love of my life, Iām raising him to be a successful and humble man. But with my work and busy schedule, it was easier for him to stay with his father and I always felt they needed that father-son bond.
The scene cuts back to Miami and Nicki ā¢ Li.
NICKI ā¢ LI: Iām here now girl, so Iāll keep you company as much as I can but you know Iāve been hitting these studios like crazy, and I need to keep that motivation going.
MIAMI DREXEL: Well I know some people you can fuck with down here, I got a couple dudes on my call list that could probably hook you up with some studio, beats, whatever you need. And you know Iām heavy in the clubs here so maybe some hosting gigs will help get a name out there for you.
NICKI ā¢ LI: Damn, youāll do that for me? I already knew you werenāt a hater yo.
MIAMI DREXEL: Iāll make some calls, but girl you canāt be down here turning up on hoes.
NICKI ā¢ LI: People that know me know Iām serious about my music and my brand. But if I need to check a hoe or two on my journey then oh well.
MIAMI DREXEL: Girl, no.
NICKI ā¢ LI: The only reason why Miami is bringing this up is because she knows I got a couple issues with some of the chicks she runs around with or call her āfriend.ā But Iām in LA on some other shit and donāt really care about another hoe opinion.
The scene cuts back to Nicki ā¢ Li and Miami Drexel.
MIAMI DREXEL: But thatās the problem not everyone knows you. Look things are a little bit different here than in Miami. Your not in the streets anymore, this is a whole different ball game and level girl, but just know I got your back while your here so whatever you need I can help you with.
NICKI ā¢ LI: I appreciate the welcoming and trust Iām here to work, I missed being here but I needed to expand my brand and get international with it, but it was time to come back and Iām here.
MIAMI DREXEL: Well cheers to that.
The two tap glasses and both take a sip of their drinks and the scene fades and reopens in Isā¢raelās apartment. Inside Isā¢rael is shown practicing some moves in the mirror, he grinds up and down on the floor being getting back up and moving to the music coming out of the speakers.
ISā¢RAEL: Coming off Angelicaās fashion show I still had a lot of work to do, I got many compliments about my moves and how everyone enjoyed the way I looked in the fashion but I still think I didnāt network as much as I wanted too.
Isā¢Rael shakes his head.
ISā¢RAEL: I had another show coming up where they needed me to not only dance but to help them premiere some products and supposedly a lot of big spenders weāre going to be in the building, and I love a coin.
Isā¢Rael laughs.
ISā¢RAEL: So practice was definitely needed, and trust thereās nothing wrong with dancing in front of your mirror at home and pretending like you were standing in front of a huge audience, Aye!
The scene cuts back to Isā¢Rael inside of his apartment, he dances for a few more seconds before switching to another song. As he starts to move he notices his phone ringing and the name Nancy on the screen, he quickly answers.
ISā¢RAEL: Is everything ok?
NANCY GIRARD: Yes Izzy, stop worrying. I was just calling to check up on you.
ISā¢RAEL: You know Iām ok, you're the one Iām worried about.
ISā¢RAEL: Nancy was so close to my heart, she basically raised me when my mother couldnāt and since then Iāve always made sure I was there for her whenever she needed. Recently Nancy was diagnosed with breath cancer last year and even though she beat the disease, she still has her days.
The scene cuts back to Isā¢Rael on the phone with Nancy.
NANCY GIRARD: I keep telling you Iām fine, some days Iām a little tired but most days Iām fine. I saw some pictures on social media the other day from a fashion show you walked in, I was impressed, the clothes were a little skimpy but Iām proud.
ISā¢RAEL:Thank you, itās a start.
NANCY GIRARD: Iām just calling to remind you to always be humble and make sure you are paying attention and not letting people take advantage of you. Thereās a lot of vultures in this world and I donāt want you to fall victim to any of that mess.
ISā¢RAEL: You know I will always listen to your advice, my eyes and ears are open.
NANCY GIRARD: And keep a open heart too, of course thereās the vultures but thereās some good people
Out there too.
ISā¢RAEL: Iām not looking for anything serious, you know that.
NANCY GIRARD: I donāt mean just dating but friendships to, growing up you were always so guarded but I guess thatās because of the situation with your parents but now your order and itās okay to have friends and open up to certain people.
ISā¢RAEL: Iām listening, but Iām only here for the money and the opportunities, if anything else comes along then so be it.
NANCY GIRARD: And thatās what I like to hear, but listen I have to go and start dinner. I love you and good luck!
Isā¢Rael smiles as he hangs the phone up and the scene fades and reopens at N9NE Steakhouse in Las Vegas. Cameras pan through the city's hotspot before zooming to a table in the back private area. Angelica is shown sipping a glass of champagne.
ANGELICA WARD: Coming down from my fourth annual show, I'm exhausted. But im.on top of the world! Although we had that one little hiccup in the beginning, we got it together quick! And the show was amazing. Tonight I wanted to just relax and enjoy a little dinner and a few drinks to celebrate. And who better to call than my girl Queen to celebrate with me.
The scene returns to the restaurant. Queen is shown pulling up to the valet in a matte black Porsche Cayenne turbo. She climbs out of the driver's seat and hands the key to the driver along with a hundred dollar bill. She then makes her way inside of the restaurant
QUEEN PRESCOTT: My girl Ang called and invited me out to hang out and have some drinks. Both of us have been working non stop these past few months so a night of just relaxing and letting my hair down is needed!
The scene fades back to the inside of the restaurant. Queen is shown walking toward the table. Angelica gets up and greets her with a hug. The two then take their seats back at the table
ANGELICA WARD: Hey mami!
QUEEN PRESCOTT: What is goin on girl?! Look at you! You look good.
ANGELICA WARD: Thanks girl, I'm trying! I'm loving this dress too!
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Daddy got it for me!
ANGELICA WARD: Yasss! Yall are still going strong! I'm so glad to see that.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Yea. That's my baby!
ANGELICA WARD: I love it. He couldn't take his eyes off of you at the show!
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Girl speaking of! How are you feeling after it all? Is it what you wanted?
ANGELICA WARD: Oh yeah! I'm very satisfied! The reviews were great. We're selling! I couldn't be more happy wit it. I just have to start working on next year now.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Girl you're already on next year! K can't stop you.
ANGELICA WARD: Yea, mama. If i wanna top this year, I have to already be rolling on this now.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: I hear you girl. But i do want you to relax and enjoy the success of this one! It was crazy!
ANGELICA WARD: It really was. I'm so proud of my girls!
ANGELICA WARD: My girls really made me proud! I cannot say it enough! We've put so much into this brand, with the music videos, and the lingerie and shows. We have built quite the reputation and i wanna keep it up. I push them to the limit, but in the end they always come through
The scene returns to the restaurant. A waiter is shown dropping off their drinks and taking their meal order before walking away, leaving the two alone again.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: I noticed a few of the girls didn't show up though.
ANGELICA WARD: That was to be expected. You know they love to hate me. But I didn't want anyone there that didn't want to be anyway, so it's whatever.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: I still don't understand what the problem is.
ANGELICA WARD: Girl most of then are still mad because there was a delay on production, but keep in mind, all the people clapping are apart of the reason we had to halt production anyway.
ANGELICA WARD: Last season we literally ended the show mid season. No reunion. We just had to stop. The girls were way to violent. And a lot of networks were afraid that it would happen again. People weren't necessarily jumping in line to work with us. And then for some of these girls to have the nerve to place the blame on me, is just baffling. And on top of that, the audacity to go as far as to even slander my brand all over the blogs and basically any platform that would listen to them. This is your doing. And when you learn that, maybe it will be easier to understand how to conduct yourselves in a manner so that things like this won't happen again. And then you'll understand that your anger is pointed in the wrong direction.
The scene returns to the restaurant.
ANGELICA WARD: I don't have time to keep dwelling on negativity. You continue to slander my name, yet you continue to sign on to be apart of a show that I sign the checks for. I figured if you can take my checks, the least you could do is show support to something that is helping to fund said checks.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Okuurr! It all seems so childish. Everybody just wants someone to point the finger at and be mad at.
ANGELICA WARD: So be mad at yourself! That's all I'm saying. I worked my ass off to make sure this still kicked off and it's just no love or appreciation. I'm kinda done with that.
QUEEN PRESCOTT: I hear you girl. And i couldn't agree more. I'm just surprised that ya girl kylie didn't show up. That was the real gag.
Angelica pauses, picking up her cocktail and takes a long sip.
ANGELICA WARD: Girl I'm worried about those that did show up. And I'll just say that.
ANGELICA WARD: I don't know why Kylie decided not to come. Maybe she was busy. A call would have been nice. But hey. Maybe one of her lil ānew friendsā got into her ear. But i won't know unless we talk. And she did send Izzy, who was great by the way. Maybe that was her way of showing love
She shrugs as the scene fades back to the restaurant
QUEEN PRESCOTT: Chiiiiile! I'm sleep! But anyway! Cheers to real real bitches! You know I always got ya back girl
The two pick up their glasses and toast, taking a sip as the scene fades. And reopens on the inside of a lavish mansion in Calabasas. Cameras catch a view of the driveway, full with some of the latest vehicles on the market. The scene then pans to the inside of the home and up the marble stairs toward the master bedroom. Video vixen, and self proclaimed Instagram queen, Lovely B. is shown walking out of the bathroom draped in a towel. She takes a seat in her bed and picks up her iPhone and flips through her notifications. She then sits her phone down on the bed next to her and makes her way into her walk in closet
LOVELY B.: What to wear? What to wear?
LOVELY B.: What is good world? The queen has finally arrived! And we can really get the show started now!
She chuckles, running her fingers through her long wavy blue hair.
LOVELY B.: I am Lovely B. The instagram queen! I have six point four million followers right now, and the list grows by the day! I don't really know how it happened. I just remember i had ordered this product and i really loved it. So i shouted them out and my post got a lotta buzz so they reached out to me and other companies did the same, and boom! Here we are!
She snaps, flipping her hair
LOVELY B.: I'm doing pretty well for myself. Outside of being a promoter, you've also seen me in a few music videos. I work with a lot of rappers so it is natural for them to reach out to me when they're looking for models. I wouldn't really call myself a video vixen or nothing like that, but, I'm hot on the scene definitely. Any scene I step on, i definitely conquer. But lately I've been switching gears a little. Trying to get more into event planning. I figured i could use the connections that I've already made in this industry to my advantage. And while I'm hot, the time is now to jump on this. I've wanted to be in that field since i was a little girl. Couldn't nobody plan a tea party like I! I'm trying to tell you! So that's actually what I'm working on today. I linked up with an agent that Y'layna introduced me to and kinda gave him a small idea of what it is i wanted to do and where I wanted to go. He really vibed with my ideas and felt like he could help me, and he called and asked to meet with me so we could get things started. I'm so excited!
The scene returns to Lovely, who is now shown driving into a parking lot. She climbs out of her car a d walks inside of the large office building. As she approaches the front desk ske is warmly greeted by a friendly secretary.
SECRETARY: Hi! Welcome to E.J Mills. How can i help you today?
LOVELY B.: Hi. I'm Lovely! Im supposed to be meeting with Erin at two fifteen.
SECRETARY: Yes. Absolutely. They're all set up in the conference room and expecting you! You can actually follow me and I'll take you right back.
LOVELY B.: That sounds good!
The secretary gets up from behind the desk and escorts Lovely down a long hallway. They reach a large conference room. The secretary knocks on the door, announcing Lovely's arrival. The crew welcomes her in and she takes a seat at the table after greetings.
LOVELY B.: I am nervous! And I'm usually not..but this meeting could be the start to huge thing! Branding is very hard. Especially when people have one set idea about you. But I want to show people the business woman in me. This is what I have wanted to do my whole life! Im just ready to nail this meeting and get to this paper!
The scene returns to the conference room
ERIN JAMES: Lovely I'm so glad we could finally meet in person!
LOVELY B.: Yes! Me too. I have nothing but good things of you. I hear everything you touch turns golden
He chuckles, nodding in appreciation of her comment
ERIN JAMES: I do well for myself and those that i partner with. Absolutely. I appreciate that. After speaking to Y'layna, I did a little research myself. And i must say i am impressed.
LOVELY B.: By what exactly?
ERIN JAMES: I see a woman who knows the markets. She knows what is current. And she uses it to exel. And i applaud that. Your following is on a consistent climb and youve done this all so far, with no help.
LOVELY B.: Thank you! That means a lot.
ERIN JAMES: Now we spoke briefly about your goals for your future. You want to go into event planning. What kinds of events specifically?
LOVELY B.: Well i want to plan industry parties basically. I wanna be that girl beyonce calls when she's throwing a birthday party for her twins.
ERIN JAMES:There's already tons of people in that industry.
LOVELY B.: But none of them have the resources that I do. I can absolutely guarantee you that!
ERIN JAMES: And what resources are those?
LOVELY B.: I discuss those with individuals that i have a solid agreement with. But my credentials are enough to speak for themselves. How many girls are out here selling flat tummy tea on instagram?
ERIN JAMES: Waaaaay too many to be frank.
LOVELY B.: And how many of them can you say are pulling up into your office in an Aventador? I already do this. I just want to do it on a grander scale.
LOVELY B.: My taste is expensive. just saying.
The scene returns to the conference room.
ERIN JAMES: I love your ambition. My gut is really telling me to take a chance with you. And my gut hasnt been wrong yet.
