The scene opens up at the Los Angeles Gun Club, inside Anthony is shown looking at a few guns, wondering which one to chose to go practice shooting. The scene cuts to the outside where a 2018 White Audi GT pulling to the parking lot. Inside Corey Lewis aka one of LA’s TOP PARTY PROMOTERS AND DJ’s hops out the driver side.
COREY LEWIS: What’s good world, it’s ya boy Corey Lewis, aka LA HEAD HONCHO when it comes to all the party my city has, whether private, underground or an EVENT where all the hottest socialites and celebrities hang. Yo boy been busy hosting back to back gigs, I just signed a deal on my own club and I’ve been thinking about getting into the music biz, now a lot of people probably didn’t know but Anthony King, yeah that’s my cousin and we’re very close, I mean close enough to where we kind of live the same lifestyle, if you know what I mean.
Corey laughs.
COREY LEWIS: Yeah I’m bisexual, so i like both men and women, but in the world we live in now, who doesn’t?
Corey laughs again this time covering his face, he takes a second and removes his hand.
COREY LEWIS: Yeah I’ll probably get a lot of shit for that comment, but whatever. Anyway I had some time off today and it’s been a minute since me and my cousin linked up, since he was in the music business, I kind of wanted to get his advice on how I should handle my music career or even if I got a shot a this shit?
Corey pauses for a second.
COREY LEWIS: Annnnd let’s just say there was some other things I wanted to talk to him about too.
The scene cuts back to Corey making his way into the shooting range, he meets up with Anthony who was already geared up with his piece ready to start shooting.
COREY LEWIS: Ayo cuzzo, what’s up?
The two dap each other up.
ANTHONY KING: Ain’t shit, out here playing with some big boy toys forreal.
COREY LEWIS: You must be mad or sumthin if you out here shootin, who I gotta fight?
ANTHONY KING: Nah, I’m actually good. This like a past time for me and nothing wrong with perfectioning your shot.
Anthony winks as he points the gun at one of the target, Corey reaches for the ear protectors and places them on his ear and Anthony starts shooting away, he shoots the gun 4 times before stopping and placing it back on the table beside him, Anthony motions for him to follow him to the other room.
ANTHONY KING: But what's been going on besides those checks because I see those checks is getting bigger and bigger. Your name is on everything forreal.
COREY LEWIS: Shit I’ve been holding it down, trying to stay above these other dudes. I can say the same about you, I see you behind some of these songs on the radio, you don't even have to be in front of the camera homie, you behind the scenes and making a check.
ANTHONY KING: Aye I got too, you know me and London trying to start a family so I’m keeping it lowkey with the music, only writing and producing right now. I got a couple tracks on the radio right now by a couple different people so the bag sitting nicely.
COREY LEWIS: Yo a kid my G? Y’all ready for that? I know last year y’all was going through some things.
ANTHONY KING: Shit everyone thinking like Corey, are we ready for a kid? I think we are. London and I were in bad place last year but were passed all that now, and this has been something we’ve been thinking about doing for a long time but I understand why Corey was concerned though, he was one of the people I would reach out to and vent to about London when we was going through our shit, so yeah.
The scene cuts back to Corey and Anthony.
ANTHONY KING: We good bro, we went through what every other couple goes through but we good. But we been ready, we just trying to find the right person to carry and all that shit, once that’s done then we’ll have a little baby.
Corey smiles as he embraces his cousin with a handshake and hug.
COREY LEWIS: Congratulations cuz.
ANTHONY KING: I appreciate that yo, but what’s good with you? You found a girlfriend yet or you still messing with dudes secretly?
COREY LEWIS: Ah don’t play me yo, I was young and didn’t want people all in my shit, but people know now so it’s cool. Plus after watching you being so secure with your sexuality, I figured I could too, I still get pussy so what though.
COREY LEWIS: Back in the day I was still hiding behind closed doors, I didn’t want my family or friends to know that I like dudes on the low, shit I didn’t even know. I thought it was just a weird phase I was going through but once I experimented, I just accepted the fact that it was something I like, I still had my thing for girls though, still dated them too.
Corey shrugs.
COREY LEWIS: I like what I like, call me greedy, call me bi, shit I’m just me, I’m young and I’m having fun.
The scene cuts back to Corey and Anthony.
COREY LEWIS: But I’m single, not ready to mingle but I’ll fuck though.
Corey laughs.
COREY LEWIS: Nah, I’m chillin. I’ve been kicking it with this one dude though, nothing to serious, we’ve only hung out a few times but he seem mad chill. I like him enough to where I haven’t hit yet so we’ll see how things go.
ANTHONY KING: Oh damn, sounds like it could be something serious. Who is it?
COREY LEWIS: Uh, his name is Brandon, Brandon Young.
ANTHONY KING: Wait, what?
ANTHONY KING: Ahhh shit!
Anthony slaps his hand against his forehead, shaking it.
ANTHONY KING: No! No! COREY! NOT BRANDON YOUNG, maybe he’s talking about another Brandon Young because the Brandon Young I know is an Andrews, ah shit mane!
The scene cuts back to Anthony and Corey.
ANTHONY KING: Wait, what does he look like?
COREY LEWIS: He a bad little dude forreal, tall, he model, light skin, curly hair with tattoos and shit, he got one on his neck of like a pepper or some shit. But he cool, I fuck with him.
ANTHONY KING: Yeah ummm, so if we’re talking about the same Brandon Young then you can’t mess with him man, show me a picture.
COREY LEWIS: Umm, why? You hitting him or sumthin?
ANTHONY KING: Nigga no, you know I ain’t cheating on London but if we talking about the same dude then the dude you messing with is the same man my best friend is married too and that wouldn’t be cool yo, like that would be so messy.
Corey pulls his phone out of his pocket, heg goes to the photo album on his phone and pulls up a picture of Brandon, the same Brandon Young-Andrews.
ANTHONY KING: Ah shit, it is him.
COREY LEWIS: You confusing me cuz, whats up?
ANTHONY KING: I know the two of them been going through some things but I didn’t think they were like meeting other people, well at least I know Drake hasn’t been meeting other people because that nigga been locked up in the studio with me damn near everyday, I’m actually meeting him later yo. I don’t even think I can face that nigga with the shit you bringing me today.
COREY LEWIS: Look I don’t want no shit, but he ain’t mention a dude to me, he said he had an ex but that was it. We haven’t smashed yet but we’ve been out a few times so and he let me rub on his butt a few times.
Corey shrugs with a smirk on his face.
ANTHONY KING: Look, just chill with being around him until I figure out what’s going on. You family but Drake is my best friend yo so this put me in awkward situation.
COREY LEWIS: Like I said I don’t want no smoke with anyone especially over no nigga, I can fall back off the strength you my cousin and I don’t want to fuck up your connections and friendships, but I will meet up with shorty and let him know we can’t kick it though, I ain’t the type of just quit a bitch and not say shit.
ANTHONY KING: Do what you need to do, but yeah I need to figure this shit out.
Anthony shakes his head and the two keep talking as the scene fades and reopens in Miami, FL. The scene shows Brandon standing near a Red Rolls Royce snapping pictures for a photo shoot he has coming up. The photographer takes a few more pictures and then the screen goes black. All you can hear in the background is screams, gun fire and a bunch of commotion. The scene reopens with sirens blaring in the background, Brandon being rushed into the back of an ambulance and the police swarming the scene.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: That day was one of the scariest days of my life, I’ve been in situations where I had to fight, but to actually think my life could have ended that day scares the fuck out of me.
Brandon is shown sitting in front of the green screen ready to film the confessional for this episode. He wipes a tear from his eyes as he takes a minute to clear his thoughts and to recollect himself.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: The only thing I remember about that day is finishing the shoot, I was walking back to my trailer and next thing I know about 7-10 guys rushed me and my crew and took EVERYTHING. Once security got involved, shots were fired and Thank God no one was hurt. Trust I didn’t go down without a fight but during that whole situation I was badly hurt, I ended up with bruised ribs and a laceration to my side but I still fought.
Brandon pauses.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I don’t even want to talk about it anymore.
The scene cuts to a few days after the incident. Brandon is shown lying on his mother’s couch while she stands in the kitchen making him something to eat. Brandon lays there still with his bandages on, checks his phone and grunts at some of the stuff he’s reading on social media.
DESTINY YOUNG: I keep telling you not to let that stuff bother you son, you need to rest and heal.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I can’t help it, people are disgusting. Some of the shit they are saying is hurtful ma.
DESTINY YOUNG: It’s the internet son, it’s full of hateful individuals with no souls or morals! Now drink some of this!
Destiny walls over to Brandon and hands him a hot cup of tea, she sits down on the end of the couch and places his feet on top of her body.
DESTINY YOUNG: I was so worried about you Brandon, I still am. I know they caught some of the people that did this to you, but the others are still out there.
DESTINY YOUNG: When I got the call that my son was robbed and harmed during the robbery, I instantly dropped everything I was doing and rushes straight to the hospital, I didn’t even ask him what they stole, my concern was his health and his safety.
The scene cuts back Destiny and Brandon.
DESTINY YOUNG: Does Drake know?
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I guess, he did tweet me the other day. I haven’t really been answering his calls so I guess he felt social media was his only other option. When the news dropped of the robbery I guess that’s how he found out because that day he was blowing my phone up.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I know people probably are wondering why I didn’t say anything to Drake about the robbery, honestly we just aren’t in a good place and honestly I didn’t want the blame to be placed on me for something that I had no control over.
Brandon shrugs.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: It’s just a difficult time right now.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DESTINY YOUNG: That is your husband son, you have to tell him and if you don’t then I will.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Do what you feel is necessary, I’m tired and these pain killers are kicking in.
DESTINY YOUNG: Ok son, get your rest.
Destiny leans over and kisses Brandon on the cheek, she rubs her fingers across his face and she’s smiles. Happy to still have her son here she sits there and she watches him drift off to sleep, she grabs his phone and scrolls to Drake’s name and the scene fades and reopens inside of Marcus Kain’s LA home. Marcus is shown inside the kitchen making some eggs and bacon while Sara is shown sitting at the counter on her iPad.
SARA MATTHEWS: Today I decided to go hang out with Marcus, even though he’s not my biological father, he’s always been a Dad to me. During my time with my adoptive mother I remember Marcus would sometimes come and pick me up from school and we would just hang out, once I got back in the custody of my mother's he just became like my real father.
The scene cuts back to the two inside the kitchen, Marcus hands Sara her plate filled with food and he sits down beside her.
MARCUS KAIN: I haven’t cooked like that in forever.
SARA MATTHEWS: Mom said you were always a good cook, I remember slightly but not much.
MARCUS KAIN: She would know especially how I would cook for her, speaking of your mother where is she?
SARA MATTHEWS: She’s at the studio recording some song she’s doing with Mia Cocaine, do you know her?
MARCUS KAIN: Ah Yes, I’m aware of Miss Cocaine.
SARA MATTHEWS: It's so weird when you say her name, I just call her Mia.
MARCUS KAIN: Yea it’s just a stage name, but I thought she was done with music after this last album.
MARCUS KAIN: Typical Alicia always drowning herself in work, don’t get me wrong I’ve always supported her music career but she’s working way to hard.
Marcus shrugs.
MARCUS KAIN: But that’s Alicia for you, that’s one thing I did admire about her is the work ethic even though it would drive me crazy when we couldn’t spend time together.
The scene cuts back to the two, by this time Marcus has finished his plate. He walks back into the kitchen and starts washing the dishes.
SARA MATTHEWS: So what do you guys plan on doing?
MARCUS KAIN: What do you mean?
SARA MATTHEWS: Are you getting back together or you guys going to work it out like what’s the deal?
MARCUS KAIN: As much as I would like that, I don’t see that happening. I love your mother very much but I really fucked up in the past, and even though what was done she forgave me for, some things aren’t forgettable.
SARA MATTHEWS: But when she’s with you, she’s so happy.
MARCUS KAIN: Likewise.
MARCUS KAIN: I’m sure Alicia knows I love her very well, but the damage has been done, mostly on my part. If I had the chance I would take it, most definitely.
The scene cuts back to the two.
SARA MATTHEWS: You have to leave these thots alone Marcus, I see you on social media flirting and even though you guys aren’t together, it’s disrespectful.
MARCUS KAIN: Ah look at you, sounding just like your mother.
SARA MATTHEWS: I’m speaking facts though, I think that’s the only thing she wants from you is to know that she’s the one.
MARCUS KAIN: And how do you know this?
SARA MATTHEWS: I’m old enough to know and understand what’s going on, Plus we talk.
Sara smiles winking at Marcus.
SARA MATTHEWS: My mom has never expressed to me that she wanted to be back with Marcus but I know she misses him, when I see the two together it’s like magic between them. I get they had some bad history in the past, but we’re in the moment now and all I want for them to do is work it out.
The scene cuts back to the two.
MARCUS KAIN: So what do you propose I should do?
SARA MATTHEWS: Just do what your suppose to do, you know what you have to do to make her happy, that is if your serious about getting her back.
MARCUS KAIN: Your right.
SARA MATTHEWS: Now if I help you don’t have me in these streets looking stupid.
MARCUS KAIN: I got you.
Marcus smiles as he makes his way over to Sara, the two share a hug and continue talking as the scene fades and reopens in the parking garage of Keyshias apartment. Drake is shown pulling into the apartment in his matte blue Rolls Royce. He looks in his rearview mirror to the backseat at his three kids.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: You ready to see mommy?
DRAKE ANDREWS III: Yea dad. Can we go get some ice cream.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: You gotta ask mommy dude. I'm sure she'll take yall to get some ice cream.
DERRICK ANDREWS: you coming with us daddy?
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Nah lil man. Daddy gotta work. Yall gin stay with mommy for the weekend. Then imma come back and get yall in a few days.
DRAKE ANDREWS III: Daddy why don't we all go out together like we used to?
Drake looks at the sad expression on his son's face. He lets out a deep sigh.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: We will soon lil man.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: When Keyshia had lil Drake, we were still together. We we together until he was about 4. So he was kinda used to always seeing us around each other. He always had mommy and daddy around so I know its hardest on him. And I still struggle with tryna explain ur relationship, or lack of one for thst matter.
The scene returns to the family. At this point they are shown standing in front of Keyshia's door. He pulls out his phone and notices that he has a missed call from his mother in law. He then dials Keyshia's number.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Yo. We out front.
He hangs up, moments later Keyshia appears at the door with a wide smile on her face. The kids all jump and hug their mother
KEYSHIA HOWARD: Hi my babies! Mommy missed yall!
DRAKE ANDREWS III: I missed you too mommy! Guess what!
KEYSHIA HOWARD: What baby?
DRAKE ANDREWS III: I got a A on my report card
KEYSHIA HOWARD: You did!? I'm so proud of you!
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Facts! Lil man turned all them bad grades around.
As the they are talking his phone begins ringing again. He looks down and sees his mother in law calling again. He picks up and puts the phone to his ear.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Hey mommy. I was just bout to call you back. I was dropping my kids off to my baby muva.
As he listens to her response, his fave turns to worry as he hears the tone in her voice
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Everything alright mommy? You dont sound good right now.
His jaw drops as he listens to her response. He cuts her off before she can even finish.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: I'm on my way. Ill be there in a few hours.
He half listens to her, befote cutting her off again.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Nah.. I'm on my way. Dont worry bout nothing. Its handled ma. Thank you for calling me.
He hangs up before she can respond.
For a moment, Drake sits in silence, shaking his head in disbelief.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Yo… I'm doing something wrong.
His eyes gloss, but they dont water. He balls his hand into a fist, tapping it angrily in his leg
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: No matter what B and I go through, whether we seperated, or not, I thought it was clear that I would always be there to protect him and his family. Why didnt he feel like he could call me man?
At this point Drake is over any cameras in his face. He hops up from his seat
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: I cant do this right now man
Drake loses his temper as he bumps into the chair trying to walk away. He kicks the chair out of his way and anything else in his path. production tries to calm him down, and eventually they do. He walks away from the confessional. The scene fades back to Keyshia's Apartment.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Keesh. I need you to take the kids and go to my crib.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: What's going on Drake? Is everything okay?
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: I'll talk to you about it later ma. I gotta fly to Vegas. Can you keep the kids till i get back.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: Of course Drake. You know you dont have to ask.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Thanx ma…
Drake runs to his truck and digs inside of his middle console. He pulls out a few rolls of cash. He runs back over to Keyshia and hands the money to her.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: Nigga how long are you planning on being gone.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Just a few days.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: Okay. This is just a lotta money.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Its good. Just take care of yaself and the kids for me ma.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: I got you love. Dont go doing nothing crazy Drake. I know you. And I know that look.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: I dont know what's going on. But i know whe.n Drake gets that look. Somebody needs to watch out. Drake has been on a good path. And I really dont wanna see him mess that up. So i hope whatever this is gets worked out before Drake can get to it.
The scene fades back to the apartment. Drake is shown hugging and kissing his children goodbye. He then looks at Keyshia.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Thanks again ma.
KEYSHIA HOWARD: I got you. Be careful boy.
He hugs her and runs to his truck. He starts the engine and speeds off and honks the horn goodbye as Keyshia takes her children into the apartment. The scene fades and reopens in Las Vegas at Brandon's mother's house. Inside Brandon is shown sitting on the patio, he's scrolling through his social media and sipping on a glass of wine. The scene cuts to the outside where a yellow Lamborghini is shown pulling up to the house, the scene cuts inside where Brooklyn is shown rapping the words to a City Girls song.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: Where the bag at? Where the bag at?
She pulls into the huge driveway and parks.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: Brandon called me and told me what happened so I had to rush here as soon as I could. Luckily I was off this week from filming my sitcom, but Brandon is like a brother to me, he's family and anytime he's in danger or in some sort of situation, I make it a priority to be there for him.
The scene cuts back to Brooklyn walking inside the house. She greets Destiny with a hug and the two walk out to the Patio, Brooklyn walks over sitting next to Brandon wrapping her arm around him.
DESTINY YOUNG: I'll leave yall two alone, it was nice seeing you again Brooke.
Brooklyn smiles and Destiny walks off.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: I don't want to ask how your feeling because I know you feel like shit, baby I'm sorry this happened to you.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Me too, I've just been hiding out here, trying to stay out of the public eye.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: Do you think this was a set up or like a random robbery?
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: It had to be random, I remember stopping and getting gas, it was a group of dudes there and they were watching us, when we left I felt like we were being followed but I didn't pay it any mind, all I remember was getting there, we worked and then boom it happened.
Brooklyn shakes her head disgusted by what she's hearing.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: The one thing I can say is that I'm still alive and that's what is important.
The scene cuts back to Brandon and Brooklyn.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: Well whatever you need me to do boo let me know, If you need me to stay here for a few days then I will. I'm ready to find these dudes that did this and machete all they asses up.
Brandon smiles.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: That's what I like to see is you smiling.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I need to, I haven't been crying but just been in a depressed mood lately. It's a lot going on, with me and drake, and then the drama I have with these queens from the show, and I don't know what to do, I feel like I'm about to go insane.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Depression is real, I know. Because I'm personally suffering from it, on the outside everything may seem glamorous and fun but on the inside I really do feel pain.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: What's going on with you and Drake and where is he? Do I need to hit his ass up?
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: He's on his way, the last time we spoke he was dropping the kids off with his baby mother and coming here. And were ok and were not ok, it's complicated.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: I know some of the issues they were dealing with but not all, it was never really my business to know everything. What I do know is that I loved them both equally and I only wanted to see them win, the most I can do is offer whatever advice I can and just hope for the best.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: That's all I need to hear then, just take it day by day because you are dealing with a lot and I'm sure Drake is coming here with good intentions, that man truly does love you.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I've never questioned his love though that's never been the issue, my problem is …
Brandon pauses as he notices his mother walking outside on the patio again, and with her is Drake. Drake rushes over to Brandon and Brooklyn, he looks at Brandon up and down growing angry at the scars and bruises over his body.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Yo what the fuck!?
Drake lifts Brandon from his seat and examines the rest of his body.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Who did this shit?!.
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: He doesn't know the people that did it Drake, calm down.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Calm down? Do you see him man?
BROOKLYN CARTER•WEST: I know your upset, and don't worry we'll figure all this out, I'm going to go to the car and grab my bags, I'm going to stay here for a few days before I go back to Miami. But I want to give you two some time alone, it's good seeing you Drake.
Brooklyn gets up from the seat and she hugs Drake, she leans down and kisses Brandon on the cheek and she walks off leaving the two alone.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Sorry I didn't tell you, but I knew how crazy you would get and I didn't want you getting in trouble or involved.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: Who else are you supposed to call man. That ring on your finger means anytime. I'm the first one you call!
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: I know the police are doing everything they possibly can to figure out who did this, they have some footage from cameras that were around but it's just difficult to identify they're faces.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: The police ain't gon solve shit. I got this. Believe that.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Even though we were having issues, there was no doubt that this man truly loved me and I can see that. Me not telling him was protecting him, he has a family and I just can't see him locked up over something that happened to me. I just need for him to let the police handle this!
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS:: I honestly don't want to talk about it anymore, my mom wants me to see a therapists and I'm just done talking about it, your here now and that's all that matters to me, I just want you to be here for me.
Drake pulls Brandon in hugging him
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: What if somebody took him? I wouldn't have been able to live with myself. And everybody want me to be calm and not take action. Hut that's family. Everybody know that's one thing I don't fuck around with. Somebody definitely paying for this shit. But right now I just gotta be there for B..
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Just promise me you won't let this bother you Drake, I'm fine.
DRAKE ANDREWS JR: I got you B.
BRANDON YOUNG•ANDREWS: Let's just sit here and enjoy the peace.
The two both sit outside on the couch and Brandon goes back to sipping on his wine and the scene fades and reopens in Hoboken, NJ. London and his mother is shown leaving out of a tall building, the two hop inside of a car that was waiting for them.
LONDON CARTER•KING: Today I met up with some possible investors for a business venture that I've been working on for some time now, I don't want to say too much about it because I'm currently still putting everything together, but after today I think I may sparked a few interests from some of them. I decided to bring my mom along since we are going to be partners, plus I wanted to catch her up with what's been going on.
The scene cuts back to the two inside the car.
SHARON CARTER: That went extremely well.
LONDON CARTER•KING: I knew it would because it's money that is being made, everything I touch I work hard to make sure it's successful.
SHARON CARTER: You got that trait from me.
Sharon laughs.
SHARON CARTER: So where are you going after we leave here? I'm heading back to Miami to get the twins.
LONDON CARTER•KING: I think I'm going to LA for a few days, Anthony wants me to fly out so that's on my agenda right now. And I'm supposed to meet up with Y'layna for lunch.
SHARON CARTER: Oh wow I haven't heard that name in a long time, how is she?
LONDON CARTER•KING: I guess she's good, we haven't talked since we had that little sit down on Mercedes Show, but she recently reached out to Anthony to pass a message to me.
LONDON CARTER•KING: I don't know why she didn't reach out to me, I really don't have a issue with her, our relationship just changed after all that mess that went down. I was always opened to rebuilding our friendship but her on the other hand I guess it wasn't apart of her universe, it's a two way street, and that's all I'll say about that.
The scene cuts back to the car.
SHARON CARTER: You two have been friends for a long time, so whatever it is that's going on you guys should just fix it and move on. If you sit back and hold onto that grudge you'll never be happy.
LONDON CARTER•KING: I'm not holding a grudge, I told her I was open to being friends again but since they day there hasn't been any contact on her part, so what am I supposed to do?
SHARON CARTER: When you see her, talk it out and let God handle the rest.
LONDON CARTER•KING: That's your answer for everything ma.
SHARON CARTER: Because it's the truth, even with the adoption situation, if its meant to be then it'll happen. And from prior conversations that seems to be going great so look at all the positive things going on.
LONDON CARTER•KING: I guess she was right, things were moving along with the adoption, and business was doing well so I didn't need any negative in my life right now. That's why when I go meet with Y'layna, I'm hoping we could put it all out on the table and just move forward.
London smiles as the scene cuts back to the car.
SHARON CARTER: All I know is I am hungry, can we stop at the next burger joint, I feel like having a cheat day.
LONDON CARTER•KING: Ha, ma you crazy, you have plenty of those.
The two laugh and the scene fades to black.
