The scene reopens up at Jeremiah’s sobriety party, the party is still going strong, this time tons of people have entered the building, some who were invited while others just popped up. The scene cuts over to the bar where Braelyn is shown waiting on a drink she ordered. A city girls song comes on and Braelyn instantly starts twerking to the beat.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’m having such a good time right now, I’m so proud of Jeremiah and how far he’s come with his sobriety. So tonight we’re celebrating him and we’re also celebrating life. PERIODT!
The scene cuts back to the party, Braelyn is shown still dancing to the song. She feels a push against her backside and standing behind her is Chase Stevens. Chase smiled got bumped into by someone else. He held his hands out.
CHASE STEVENS: I'm sorry that was an accident.
CHASE STEVENS: Yeah, that was a damn lie. I saw her dancing and couldn't help myself. After connecting back with Sky and Alex they both invited me out. I told myself I wasn't going to come. Now...Im happy I did. First thing I see is some cheeks. Didn't help I had a mad crush on Braelyn for a minute.
The scene cuts back to the bar. Chase gave Braelyn his best innocent face and stepped up to the bar.
CHASE STEVENS: Alright, it wasn't an accident. I can't have “us” starting off on a lie.
BRAELYN MONROE: Us huh? This is the first time I’m hearing of a “us” I didn’t know you had an interest in me.
Braelyn blushes.
BRAELYN MONROE: If this was anyone else, I probably would have cursed him out or thrown a drink in his face, but Chase was a cutie, I’ve seen him around other parties and we chit chatted a bit but never really got a chance to hang out alone.
Braelyn smiles.
BRAELYN MONROE: I thought it was cute how he just rolled up on me though, so I’ll give him some time, see what he’s about.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRAELYN MONROE: So are you enjoying yourself?
CHASE STEVENS: You know what...I am. I don't know Jeremiah but hey I wish him all the best.
CHASE STEVENS: I'm not going to be the bad guy and not wish the man stays on a good path. I know he's not too thrilled with me and might not like the fact I'm at his party, but oh well. Have you seen who I'm at the bar with?
The scene cuts back to the bar. Chase smiled as he leaned in close to Braelyn to talk to her over the music.
CHASE STEVENS: As for “us” I threw that out there to gage your reaction and I have to say you reacted quite favorably. I think I have a chance…..yes?
PRODUCER: You have a thing for Braelyn?
CHASE STEVENS: What gave it away? Me wanting to be with her….or me wanting to be with her. Of course I have a thing for her. I just chose to sit back and wait for the perfect opportunity to shoot my shot.
The scene cuts back as Chase took a sip of his drink and looked at anything but her. He was trying to let him know what she was thinking.
BRAELYN MONROE: It’s been so long since I’ve dated anyone, I have bad luck with men I guess.
BRAELYN MONROE: This could be a plot to try and get in my jeans, I mean he is a man, but his approach was different so maybe giving him a chance wouldn’t hurt.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’m cool with that, I’ll give you my number and we can go from there.
Chase hands Braelyn his phone, and she dials her number in. She smiles handing him his phone back.
BRAELYN MONROE: What are your plans after this is over?
CHASE STEVENS: You know, I hadn't thought about it that far. How about we just enjoy the time now. See where it takes us.
Chase got the attention of the bartender and motioned for him to come over.
CHASE STEVENS: Hey, let me get a Manhattan and another of what she's having.
CHASE STEVENS: She was having such a good time when I noticed her. I figured it would just be good to focus on that for tonight. Having a good night.
The scene cuts back to them at the bar and then switches outside of the party. Rayne Westbrook-Pierce Is shown climbing out of A vintage 1965 Chevrolet impala. Pharaoh is shown climbing out if the passenger's seat. He looks over to his cafe with a wide grin as they walk toward the entrance.
PHARAOH: You look so fucking good babe. You sure I can't tickle the cat one more time before we go in?
RAYNE WESTBROOK: pipe down chico.
The two chuckle
RAYNE WESTBROOK: So Jeremiah invites us to his sobriety party. Luckily there's an own bar! Yay sobriety,! Iits been a minute since the whole crew got together. And I don't think it could go down without drinks.
The scene returns to the two, who are now shown greeting their friends. They see Alex and walk up to her and Jeremiah.
PHARAOH: Ally pop! What's good sexy?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Hey guys! I was wondering where yall were.
She looks at Jeremiah
RAYNE WESTBROOK: what's up goober.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’m a little tipsy, nah I take that back I’m too lit right now.
RAYNE WESTBROOK: We stopped at a bar so we could drink before we got here. Didn't think there was gonna be drinks at a sobriety party.
PHARAOH: So needless to say, we're both pretty fucked up too.
Pharaoh chuckles and lets out a loud burp.
PHARAOH: I'm gonna get us done more drinks babe. You want anything ally P?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: I'm good. Thanx
PHARAOH: I'll drink yours… to the bar!
Pharaoh disappears to the bar, leaving Alex and Rayne, and Jeremiah.
RAYNE WESTBROOK: Are you losers still cat fighting or whatever It is you two do?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: We haven’t had the chance to talk, I’m just happy she decided to leave her castle in the boonies and come out and support an old friend. She has a family now so she doesn’t have time for the gang anymore.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’m too drunk to even get into that right now, if she wanna talk though, we can do that.
The scene cuts back to the group. The scene cuts to Mia who was behind the DJ booth mixing some tracks making her way towards the group, she reaches Rayne, Alex and gives Jeremiah the side eye.
MIA SNOW: What y’all over here talking about?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Why Alex has been shady towards the group?
MIA SNOW: Oh, well I thought we was used to that type of behavior.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Shade! I have not! You know certain members of this crew don't rock with me and I don't have time for all that fake beef. So I just avoid it altogether
MIA SNOW: Ha, Alex is my girl though. We’ve had our issues in the past but since then we’ve squashed it. We even started a foundation together helping girls and single mothers get clothes, toiletries and other accessories. But Jeremiah is right, she has been a little distant from everyone.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: And I would never want y'all choosing sides. And if we're being really real here, all of you kinda chilled on me when you found out about me getting married.
MIA SNOW: Well girl we weren’t invited to a wedding nor did we know about it, because if I would have known then I would have been there, period!
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I second that. But the important thing is if your happy, and are you?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: That's the thing. No one was there. I didn't invite anyone. Me and Eli were in Paris, and we came back married.
Sky walks over interrupting everyone.
SKY TOWNSEND: What’s everyone talking about?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Alex was just explaining to us why she hasn’t involved us into her new life.
SKY TOWNSEND: Oh I see, I figured it was something important.
Sky giggles.
SKY TOWNSEND: Well I’m going back to the bar, how about y’all join me so we can leave these two to talk.
RAYNE WESTBROOK: I think that sounds like a great idea. Let's get fucked up!
The three head towards the bar leaving Alex and Jeremiah alone, a few minutes of awkward silence goes by before Jeremiah finally breaks the ice.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: So married huh? I figured you would have been the last one out of all of us to get married and have a child, even though we weren’t speaking, just know I was happy for you.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: were you?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: But you have to understand I had a lot of things going on in my life that you didn’t even know about, I don’t even think you asked.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: you're definitely right about that. And I do feel like I was fucked up for that but with you, I will never know. We're always hot and cold. But I'm really tired of fighting with you
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: This whole Crew thing was something we started, once other people got involved plus the personal shit we had going on in our lives it was just hard for me to be there for you, everyone else and my own self.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: At the end of the day both Alex and I have this special bond, we may bicker and fight but we started this together. I remember the times we would sit out on the porch, smoke and just laugh about all the crazy shit going on and now we barely even speak.
Jeremiah sighs.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: But I blame her relationship with this Eli dude, it seems like every female I have switches up once they get involved with someone.
The scene cuts back to the two.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: at the end of the day, I want you to know that no matter what, I will always be in your corner. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Things definitely were awkward with Jeremiah and I when Eli came into the picture. And I feel that a lot of it I'd because we had a much deeper history. But before any of that, we were good friends. There wouldn't be a crew if there was no us. We were literally friends before either of us knew what fame was. We were just two kids with dreams. And that's what I miss. And I know it'll take time, but I know we can get it right.
The scene returns to the two
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: I just wanna say now, that I'm sorry if you felt I pushed you to the side. I'm sorry for not calling and checking on you as much as I should have. But I live you Jer Bear. And I always will.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I don’t need any apologies, I knew you weren’t being malicious. I’m sure I wasn’t being a great friend either so if you felt like I wasn’t then I apologize too. How about going forward we just be friends without all the extra bs?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Deal.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: So let's hug this out.
The two share a long hug.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Now we need a shot.
The two laugh as they head towards the bar and The scene fades and reopens inside of Mia’s Hidden Hills Mansion. Mia is shown standing in front of one of her tall mirrors admiring one of the dresses she received from one of her favorites designers. She smiles as she looks the dress up and down before snapping a few photos.
MIA SNOW: Life has been crazy since I’ve started this DJ’ing gig, it seems like ever since I stepped behind the turntables the demand for me has been out of this world, but who am I to complain because the checks are constantly coming in.
Mia smiles.
MIA SNOW: I finally found the time to try on some of the dresses Moschino sent over for me, I had a gig later tonight in LA so I wanted to make sure I looked my best. My assistant Alexia Love was helping me pick out an outfit and just making sure my schedule was on point.
The scene cuts back to Mia and her assistant Alexia Love.
ALEXIA LOVE: Everything is set for tonight, I have the car booked for arrival and departure and I also advised them to have a bottle of your favorite wine available and fresh strawberries.
MIA SNOW: Great! I want this event to go smoothly, unlike Jeremiah's party the other night.
ALEXIA LOVE: I was going to ask you about that, how was it?
MIA SNOW: For it to be his sobriety party, he wasn't sober at all but that's none of my business.
ALEXIA LOVE: Are you inviting him to the party tonight?
MIA SNOW: I didn't invite anyone from the group, I really don't know how everyone would act and I don't want the drama, this is important to me and a lot of rich and well known people will be there so they can find something else to do.
MIA SNOW: I hate to sound like a bitch but it's nothing personal baby. Everyone is friends one day and enemies the next and I care about the parties I throw, I can't say the same for others.
The scene cuts back to Mia and her assistant.
ALEXIA LOVE: I don't blame you, it seems like he's been on a downward spiral the whole summer. So it's probably better if he wasn't there anyway.
MIA SNOW: Right. Anyway, let's see these dresses.
Alexia opens up some of the boxes and starts pulling out different dresses, Mia smiles as she starts grabbing different ones and the scene faces and repens in Alex J's Calabasas mansion. Cameras pan through the home to the nursery where Alex is shown putting Elexa Rayne down for her nap. She kisses her on her forehead before gently placing her inside of her crib. She watches her sleep for a few moments before she leaves, walking into the master bedroom next to the nursery. She smiles as her husband walks out of the bathroom.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: She's finally sleeping.
She walks over to her side of the bed and throws herself into it.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: I am tired!
ELI: Does that mean this is a lazy day for me?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: The wedding planner should be here soon. So….no! Don't get comfortable babe
ELI: Always making life tough on me. You know between you and Elexa I swear, I'm not allowed to sleep.
He chuckles as he speaks, looking towards the ceiling. Reaching over he grabs his sunglasses and puts them on.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: You wanted a baby so bad! You're welcome.
She chuckles
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: When Eli and I got married, it was just he and I. We literally flew to Paris, and we got married in the middle of the night. We didn't tell anyone. At that point I had kinda fallen off with everyone so i wasn't into having a huge wedding. I just knew I wanted to stamp my love with this man. That was all that mattered. Some people understood. But quite a few took it to heart. I Always planned to do a big wedding to invite everyone too, and the time has come. And Yall know I am doing the most. And I'm enlisting the help of one of the best wedding planners in the world, Preston Bailey! He planned oprah's wedding….enough said.
She chuckles as the scene returns to the room. Alex and Eli are shown walking toward their front door. As Alex opens the door, renowned event planner to the stars, Preston Bailey is shown standing on the opposite side of the door bearing a bottle of champagne. Alex smiles and welcomes him in.
PRESTON: Alex!
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Preston! Im so glad you could make it!
The two air kiss and hug
PRESTON: And the groom! Hello darling! Lovely to meet you
ELI: Hello, nice to meet you as well. Alex has told me plenty about you.
The two shake hands, exchanging pleasantries before Alex leads them into the living room. She grabs a remote from the coffee table and points it a large monitor. As she turns it on, the nursery appears on the screen. Elexa Rayne can be seen sleeping peacefully in her crib.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Let me get some glasses for this wine!
Alex disappears into the kitchen. Preston directs his attention to Elijah
PRESTON: This is a lovely home! I hear you had it built from the ground up.
ELI: Yeah, that wasn't how I planned it but the place I was at was far too small. Also once, I realized my wife's closets we're bigger than my kitchen. I thought an upgrade was needed.
Preston chuckles as Alex returns to the living room.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: What did I miss?
PRESTON: i was just complimenting this beautiful home.
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Eli had it built from the ground up. Right before we got engaged, he came to me with the blueprints. He did pretty good.
ELI: I'm a great husband. What did you expect?
PRESTON: Now let's talk about this wedding!
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: I'm so excited!
PRESTON: Have we thought about location?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Well we got married in Paris. I feel like it doesn't get much bigger than that. I'm kinda in love with the idea of getting married here.
PRESTON: Adore! That could be fab!
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: Right! I'm thinking, right out back. The stables would be a beautiful backdrop. Maybe even have the horses out there.
PRESTON: Can I see it?
ALEX JACOBS MAGNUM: of course! We can finish taking out there.
Alex leads Preston to the back as the scene fades and reopens in Baltimore MD. Hassan Wolfe is shown in his car, driving toward his parents’ home.
HASSAN WOLFE: Things have been great for me since I permanently made the move to LA. I wanted to take my career to the next level and I definitely wasn't gonna get far in Baltimore. But I have to admit, I've missed home. I try to come back as often as I can to see my mom and dad. It's actually been a minute since I had seen them, so when my mom called and told me that dad was sick, I dropped everything and got a flight home.
The scene returns to Hassan, who is now shown pulling into the driveway of his parents’ home. As the car comes to a stop, ge gets out and takes a look around at his childhood home. He smiles as he looks to the basketball hoop that is still set up outside. He then closes his car door and makes his way to the front door. Reaching for his keys, he then unlocks the door and walks in and through the foyer to the long staircase leading upstairs. He drops his bag at the foot of the stairs and jogs up toward his parent's room.
HASSAN WOLFE: Momma!....Pops!
ELAINE WOLFE: Is that my Sonny I hear?!
He reaches his parents’ bedroom with a wide grin on his face. His mom greets him with a big hug and kiss on the cheek.
ELAINE WOLFE: I have missed you boy! Give your momma some sugar!
HASSAN WOLFE:I've missed you too mama. I see you over there pops!
He rushes over to his dad, who is lounging in his recliner. He leans down and hugs him and kisses his forehead.
HASSAN WOLFE: what's goin on old man?
GREG WOLFE: Yeah, I got your old!
The two chuckle as his dad playfully javs at him
HASSAN WOLFE: Haha I'm just messin pops. I heard you're a lil sick what's goin on?
GREG WOLFE: sick? Haha boy I'm fine!
ELAINE WOLFE: The doctors think they might have found a tumor, and it could be cancerous.. that hardly qualifies as fine Gregory!
Greg chuckles.
ELAINE WOLFE: Oh hush up girl. We still don't know if it actually is cancer. And even if it is, guess what, we caught it early.
HASSAN WOLFE: And imma make sure you're well taken care of. Don't you worry about that. Whatever it takes.
HASSAN WOLFE: My dad has always been my superhero. So him being this strong isn't a surprise. And hes a fighter, so if it does turn out to be that. I'm sure he's gonna tough it out and beat it. I hate being so far away from my parents. But I wanna make sure they are well taken care of. As much as they did for me and lil bro., I just wanna return the favor. And being in cali, modeling is helping me do that.
The scene returns to the home
HASSAN WOLFE: Does Isaiah know?
ELAINE WOLFE: I haven't told him yet.
GREG WOLFE: And you're not going to Elaine and I mean it! I wish you hadn't even told Hassan. I don't need anybody worrying over nothing. So until we those test results back, not a word…. To anybody! Alright?
He sternly looks to Hassan.
HASSAN WOLFE: Aiight pops. You got it. Not a word.
He looks to Elaine
GREG WOLFE: Elaine?
She sighs deeply
ELAINE WOLFE: I hear your old stubborn butt.
She rolls her eyes playfully as she walks over to her husband and kisses him on the forehead.
ELAINE WOLFE: I won't say a peep.
GREG WOLFE: Good! But anyway. It's good to see you boy! Don't look like ya eating nothing out there. You're still all bones.
Hassan chuckles
HASSAN WOLFE: I'm eating. Most definitely, you know I got a high metabolism. Plus I gotta keep my body right if I wanna work.
ELAINE WOLFE: We watched that last fashion show together. I wish they put on some more clothes
Hassan bursts out laughing
HASSAN WOLFE: come on ma! I just wear what they tell me to wear.
ELAINE WOLFE: we're both so proud if you. Isaiah too! You both are doing so well for yourselves. I'm just hoping one of yall bring us some grandbabies soon!
HASSAN WOLFE: I'm working on it. Dont worry ma.
ELAINE WOLFE: I always said you and Alex should try again..
HASSAN WOLFE: Ma! She is married with a whole family of her own now.
HASSAN WOLFE: I don't know why my moms wont let that shit go man. She really was hoping it would be me and her down the aisle. I mean if I had it my way I would too, but I'm happy for her and her life. Her and I had a real hard time after she lost the baby. But we've made it past that and are friends now and I wanna keep it that way.
The scene returns to the house.
HASSAN WOLFE: You are something else ma. I know you loved her and I did too. But it's just best for me and her to be friends..
ELAINE WOLFE: I hear you boy. You wont be young forever. And I just want my baby to be happy. You were so happy.
HASSAN WOLFE: I am happy mama. I promise.. don't worry about me. When the time comes I'll settle down and you'll have more grandkids than you can imagine.
He hugs his mom and kisses her on the forehead. The family continues to chat as the scene fades and reopens in LA, Happy Coffee a local mom and pop coffee shop downtown is shown. The scene cuts to the side of the building where a few tables are shown, sitting at one of the tables is Jada Montana, already sipping on her coffee, she sends off a few text messages.
JADA MONTANA: Today was my last day in LA before heading back to Tampa tomorrow, so I was trying my best to give everyone their alone time while I'm here. They know I am not a west coast girl, I come here to see them, work and boom I'm out.
Jada giggles.
JADA MONTANA: I text Yeshua last night after the party telling him to meet me for coffee but of course his ass is late.
The scene cuts back to Jada still waiting for Yeshua, five more minutes go by and finally Yeshua walks up wearing a pair of dark sunglasses, basketball shorts and shirt. He leans down and kisses Jada on the cheek before sitting down.
YESHUA BANNER: It took everything for me to get up this coffee date with Jada, I think I got a little to wasted last night but shit I had fun minus the drama. I feel bad though because I was running late, but shit I'm here.
The scene cuts back to the two.
YESHUA BANNER: I know you hate me right now.
JADA MONTANA: Look I thought I was running late too, last night was to lit.
YESHUA BANNER: That's why I can't party with y'all anymore, I think I took like 10 shots.
JADA MONTANA: What a time to be alive right, shit it was a celebration last night, well supposedly.
YESHUA BANNER: Yea I wouldn't call taking multiple shots a celebration of sobriety, but whatever.
JADA MONTANA: Well from what he says he's sober from other things, not alcohol.
YESHUA BANNER: He was happy last night. And it's been awhile since I've seen him laughing and smiling that hard.
YESHUA BANNER: Everyone has their demons, shit I got some. I wont judge the kid though because we are all human and make life decisions, in my book Jeremiah is cool peoples.
The scene cuts back to the two.
JADA MONTANA: Speaking of smiling and laughing so hard, I noticed how you and Noah were last night. You two seem really happy.
YESHUA BANNER: Yeah, we are. And you know me Jada, it took me a long time to get here.
JADA MONTANA: I know and that's why I'm so proud of you.
Jada grabs Yeshua's hand.
JADA MONTANA: It's your life boy and you should live it the way you want too.
JADA MONTANA: I'm happy to see Yeshua living his truth, I know it took him a while to finally be comfortable in his own skin, but I always reassured him that it's his life and everything takes time, he knew when it was right to share his personal life with the world.
The scene cuts back to the two.
YESHUA BANNER: Ha, you always said that. I remember when you walked in on us and shit, that shit was awkward as hell but you never said anything and you never judged me.
JADA MONTANA: Who am I to judge? I knew when you were ready to be open with everyone then you would do it. Your a good guy and I've known Noah from the model world, he's a great choice. Now I'm just waiting on the wedding bells.
Yeshua chuckles nervously.
YESHUA BANNER: Ahhhh, I don't know. I got some shit to fix with my peoples first, marriage changes everything and to be honest when I use to think of marriage it wasn't with Noah, but a female.
YESHUA BANNER: My whole mindset fucked up now, spitting those words out like that. Yea Noah brought it up and it's ran across my mind, but I like shit the way it is now.
The scene cuts back to the two.
JADA MONTANA: Well take your time, man or woman I'll still be there cheering you on.
YESHUA BANNER: I know you will. Thanks yo!
Jada smiles and the two continue their conversation, the scene fades.
