Thanksgiving Dinner

The scene opens up in the posh neighborhood of Westwood, located in West Hollywood, California and home to some of the world's biggest stars which include Katy Perry, Johnny Depp, and of course the late great Marilyn Monroe. The scene cuts to a beautiful standalone home that is 7,865 sq feet, it houses 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The scene cuts inside where Adyn Richie is shown lying across the huge sofa in the living room with his feet elevated and a wine glass to his lips. Adyn takes a sip before placing the glass on the glass table in front of him.

“Boy put that glass on a coaster.” Richie Rich screams from the top of the stairs.

“I was going to, you didn’t give me time too.” Adyn responds with some base in his voice.

Richie Rich slowly makes his way down the long stairwell that leads into the same living room where Adyn is laying, Richie Rich sits down on the edge and playfully tosses the pillow at Adyn’s head.

”What did you do that for? These hard ass pillows.” Adyn yells vigorously

”I’m just joking baby bro, I’m just happy you showed up today thats all, it's not often I get to hang out with you.” Richie Rich responds.

Adyn rolls his eyes ignoring Richie Rich’s comments, he reaches for the remote and hits the volume button turning the sound up.

RICHIE RICH: Oh, is that what we’re doing now?

ADYN RICHIE: I thought you were in the kitchen helping mom cook.

RICHIE RICH: No, I was upstairs getting some clothes together for my trip later this week but I’m going to go in there in a second and help her, but what is your problem?

ADYN RICHIE: Nothing, I just don’t want to be bothered today.

RICHIE RICH: It's Thanksgiving and we have about 10 more people coming over to celebrate so I doubt you not being bothered isn’t going to happen. But if you like we can sit here and talk about it, maybe find a solution before the rest of the family gets here.

Richie Rich pauses taking a moment to himself.

RICHIE RICH: This is my first time hosting the dinner and this is the first time the majority of the family gets to meet Yeshua, so I’m only trying to make sure we keep positive vibes in the room.

ADYN RICHIE: Got it!

RICHIE RICH: So you don’t want to talk about it?

ADYN RICHIE: I just want to be left alone honestly, this is the first thanksgiving Dad isn’t going to be here and right now our parents are still fighting, I barely see you because you stay up under Yeshua’s ass so I don’t know what you want me to do, I’m here aren’t I?

RICHIE RICH: Oh so that’s the issue you have, well sorry I have my own life to deal with. I wanted us to get closer Adyn, not drift further apart.

ADYN RICHIE: Well me being here is a step to us getting closer, be patience and let the rest happen.

RICHIE RICH: Look whatever you say, just know I’m trying.

Richie Rich walks away leaving Adyn alone, he makes his way into the kitchen where his mom is shown working on the food, he walks over to her and kisses her on the cheek before heading upstairs to his room.

Richie Rich’s Thoughts

I’m sitting here in my room just thinking about everything that’s happening in my life, I never expected to be where I’m at, I mean I’m 25 years old, I own a beautiful home in West Hollywood, I’m recently married.

Yes I said married.

Yeshua and I decided to tie the knot back in May of this year, we wanted a private ceremony and we didn’t even tell a lot of people, it was something we wanted to do and with covid-19 shutting the world down, we couldn’t have the wedding the way we wanted to. But I was fine with that, I got the chance to marry the man of my dreams so I’m not even going to sit here and complain.

Now even though I do have some positivity going on, life wouldn’t be life if I didn’t have problems, I mean what person doesn’t? My parents are still going through a nasty divorce, I’m still not talking to my bigot father, and my relationship with my brother Adyn is still struggling and I hate it. I really don’t know what to do to fix it and honestly he isn’t doing anything to help me either.

So my question is does he even want to have a relationship with me? As much as I want one with him, I’m not going to sit around and beg someone for it.

The scene opens up inside of Richie Rich’s home, Richie Rich is shown cleaning up some of the mess that was left from the Thanksgiving dinner he had at his home the day before. He walks into the living room where his brother is sleeping and he grabs his phone off the table, he notices a text sent from Yeshua 2 minutes ago asking him to meet him outside.

RICHIE RICH: What is this man doing? I told him no more surprises.

Richie Rich walks down the stairwell and exits the front door, he walks down the driveway halfway and notices Yeshua standing by the entrance, he walks over to him and the two embrace.



RICHIE RICH: Why didn’t you just come inside?

YESHUA BANNER: I know Adyn is still here and I didn’t want to talk inside, the weather is nice too so I figure we could kick it outside.

RICHIE RICH: That’s cool, while we’re out here we can try and figure out what we're going to do with this yard, maybe some flowers or something, it looks so plain.

YESHUA BANNER: You can handle all that, shit I’ll just pay for it or matter of fact just hire a landscaper and let them do that shit, that’s what they paid to do. But fuck all that, what’s going on with Adyn though? I heard y’all arguing last night after we ate, what’s his problem?

RICHIE RICH: You guess is as good as mine, I’ve tried talking to him to see what i can find out but he’s not having it, you know me and my brother we’re never really that close, we just kind of got back into each other's lives last year.

YESHUA BANNER: Ah so he’s guarded, make sense.

RICHIE RICH: And then with our parents divorce, I think he’s taking it harder than I am, I’m ready for them to break up, my mom isn’t happy and I hate seeing her down like that.

YESHUA BANNER: I feel you, I hate seeing you down too especially since we have so much good happening for us right now. But everything will fall into place. Rich don’t stress about it.

RICHIE RICH: Well the good new is I got a couple emails from MIL today, one about possibly making some appearances on #theLIFE and the other one was a movie deal.

Yeshua eyes widen with excitement, he pulls Richie Rich closer to him lifting him up almost in bear hug position.

RICHIE RICH: Don’t celebrate yet, I haven’t said yes babe. I’ve only done reality tv and fashion shows, a movie is a big deal.

YESHUA BANNER: Man I ain’t worried about that shit, I already know you’re going to kill whatever role they give you.

RICHIE RICH: You always make me feel good.

YESHUA BANNER: You know that's my job to make you feel good, I’m trying to keep your mind off the drama that's going on in your life right now, well our life I should say. But I don’t think you should do the reality shit anymore, we’re passed that. You spent what 5+ years on that show and yeah it helped your career but it also caused a lot of problems to, I just think now that you are getting offers for movies, maybe focus on that and leave #theLIFE alone.

Richie Rich stands there for a second with his arms folded, part of him agrees with what Yeshua is saying while the other part feels like he should take advantage of this opportunity. He lets out a deep sigh and shrugs his shoulders.

RICHIE RICH: I don’t know, I’ve been off the show for what almost two years so maybe I should go back for another season just to kind of get my name out there again.

YESHUA BANNER: Bae, I think you don’t need to be on that show. You're still getting modelling gigs, the movie role just came through and you’ve been doing good with your candle line.

RICHIE RICH: That is true, but me being on the show could possibly bring more business for my candle line, look I’m just trying to keep my options open that’s all. I haven’t made any decisions yet but when I do, it’ll be what's best for me.

YESHUA BANNER: And that’s all that matters to be honest.

RICHIE RICH: This is all surreal to me, sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure this is real.

YESHUA BANNER: What are you talking about yo?

RICHIE RICH: Us, I mean just a year ago, well maybe more than a year but I was with Yosef and I just knew me and him would be where me and you are at, but it just didn’t work out that way and lets not forget the mess I went through with Brandon and Drake, I’m just happy that’s over with.

YESHUA BANNER: Yeah but that's old news, you got me now and i ain’t going nowhere.

RICHIE RICH: I believe that too.

Richie Rich and Yeshua both stand in the middle of the driveway sharing a long passionate kiss, Yeshua grabs onto Richie Rich’s ass and squeezes it.

YESHUA BANNER: Bruh!

RICHIE RICH: What? YOU DID IT. No one told you to go grabbing my ass, Ha! I swear we can’t even kiss without you wanting to poke me.

YESHUA BANNER: Shit, so get poked nigga.

Yeshua grabs Richie Rich’s hand and leads him into the garage that's opened on the side, the two walk inside and Yeshua pins Richie Rich up against the wall.

RICHIE RICH: Oh so you trying to get real freaky, we got a whole bed upstairs.

YESHUA BANNER: That defeats the purpose of me trying to get nasty with you here, now drop them pants nigga and turn around.

Richie Rich blushes as he does what he’s told, the scene fades.

MIL’s Headquarters (CA Office)

The scene opens up inside of the MIL Headquarters (California Office), the scene cuts to the main office where Marcus Kain and his Head of Talent Maria Desonta are shown discussing some deals. The scene cuts to the lobby where Richie Rich is shown walking in, he meets with the front desk receptionist letting her know he has arrived and he walks over to one of the couches and sits down.

RICHIE RICH: (whispers to himself) I’m so nervous.

A couple minutes go by and the sweat starts running down Richie Rich’s face, he looks around for some tissues but doesn’t find any. He places his hand on his face and casually wipes the sweat away but is startled by a tissue appearing in front of his face, he looks up and notices Yosef Marley standing over top of him. Richie Rich hesitates first, but smiles and takes the tissue.

RICHIE RICH: Thank you.

YOSEF MARLEY: Your welcome.

The two sit there for a moment silent.

YOSEF MARLEY: Interesting to see you here, I didn’t think I would ever see you in a MIL office again.

RICHIE RICH: You and me both. Why are you here?

YOSEF MARLEY: I just finished my meeting with Marcus, we’re working on this new project for MIL Films and he wanted to go over a few things with me. I noticed your name on the list of the cast, congratulations.

RICHIE RICH: Thank you, I’m still handling the news now but how would you know that?

YOSEF MARLEY: Because I wrote the script.

Richie Rich faces drops, his mouth opens and his eyes wide, he takes a deep breath.

RICHIE RICH: What? I never knew that, when did you decide to start writing?

Yosef chuckles.

YOSEF MARLEY: I was writing when we were together, you just never really paid much attention to it. I mostly write poetry and music but Marcus had come to me about an idea for a movie and wanted to see if I could write the script so I agreed, he enjoys my work and since I haven’t really been doing a lot except for modeling, I decided to take on an extra project. Is that a problem?

Richie Rich shakes his head “No.”

RICHIE RICH: No, I’m happy for you. It’s just weird because I haven’t seen you in a long time and then when I do see you, you drop this bomb on me, so I’m just trying to process everything.


YOSEF MARLEY: True, I understand. Trust me this whole experience will be a professional environment, I most likely won’t be on the set because all I did was write, I may stop by and check out how things are going but don’t worry you won’t see me that often, I know you try your hardest to stay away from me.

RICHIE RICH: (sighs) That’s not true Yosef, we both know it just didn’t work out between us and when we broke up, the friendship faded to but you can’t sit here and blame that all on me, you played a part in that too. I could have kept a friendship with you but you couldn’t handle it.

Diane Summers makes her way from out of Marcus Kain’s office, she motions for Richie Rich to join her because Marcus is ready to see him.

RICHIE RICH: Look I have to go, it was nice seeing you.

Richie Rich gets up from the couch and walks past Yosef, he walks into Marcus’ office and closes the door behind him and the scene fades to black.

PRODUCER: Why did you agree to do this little sitdown with us?

The scene opens inside of Richie Rich’s bedroom, with him is one of #theLIFE Producers who reached out to have a sit down with him. Richie Rich chuckles at the question as he makes himself comfortable on his bed.

RICHIE RICH: Because it has been awhile since my fans have seen or heard from me, I’ve been kind of keeping a low profile and with this whole Covid situation I haven’t really been taking any jobs.

PRODUCER: Oh so your pockets must be deep.

RICHIE RICH: I’m comfortable, they don’t call me ”Richie Rich” for nothing.

Richie Rich winks at the camera and the producer.

PRODUCER: How is the family and Yeshua doing?

RICHIE RICH: Everyone is fine and covid free, we’re trying to stay that way too. As for Yeshua, he’s great and we’re still going strong.

PRODUCER: That whole situation happened fast and during your last season of #theLIFE it was a lot of speculation that you were having an affair with Yeshua while dating Yosef. I mean it's similar to the situation with Brandon and Drake.

Richie Rich rolls his eyes.

RICHIE RICH: Sir this isn’t a confessional interview for #theLIFE so anything that has happened in my past I do not want to talk about, let’s be respectful here.

PRODUCER: I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful towards you, it's just when we last saw you, you were dealing with that situation so the only thing we wanted to know was an update.

RICHIE RICH: But you mentioning Brandon and Drake’s name is what made it messy especially since we all are in a good place, it took us a while to get there and I want to stay in that place. Plus I shouldn’t speak on any men in my past especially when I have a husband now.

The Producer sits there with a shocked expression on his face.

PRODUCER: Oh wow, so you are officially married now? I’m assuming it's Yeshua.

RICHIE RICH: Of course, who else would it be?

PRODUCER: What made this engagement different from the last one? I feel as though the last time you were engaged you felt it was rushed and that was only a few months ago, and here I am sitting with you now and you're saying you're married.

RICHIE RICH: Well it wasn’t a few months ago, it's been more than a year. But to answer your question, it felt right this time. I won’t speak down on my ex, but it just wasn’t the right thing to do.

PRODUCER: Other than quarantining, I mean what else have you been up to?

RICHIE RICH: Just making every minute of life count to be honest, Yeshua and I just moved into our place, we’ve been doing some decorating and trying to make it into a home. I’ve also been spending a lot of time with my family, well trying to.

PRODUCER: Speaking of family I was getting ready to ask you about Adyn, he’s really become a fan favorite on #theLIFEATL, but I do remember at one point you two were having issues, how are things going with you guys now?

RICHIE RICH: Adyn is my brother and he will always be my brother no matter what we go through, I have so much love for him but we struggle because we didn’t grow up together, we just recently got into each other’s lives and I think he's dealing with it harder then i am. I’m not mad at him and I won’t give up on trying to form a close bond with him either, I’m giving him his time.

PRODUCER: He’s a great guy.

RICHIE RICH: He truly is and he’s smart, I know what you see on social media is different because he tweets crazy stuff sometimes but that boy is really smart.

PRODUCER: I wanted to get your opinion on the new franchise #theLIFENY, did you watch the season and what do you think about the cast?

RICHIE RICH: I’m surprised you guys finally chose NY, I would have thought NY would have come before ATL but I thought they had a great season, it wasn’t too much drama but it was enough to make you want to keep watching. I think they were more guarded because it was their first season so maybe season 2 we’ll get something different, but I enjoyed it.

PRODUCER: And what do you think about the cast?

Richie Rich pauses, he takes a second to think to himself before answering.

RICHIE RICH: Ummm...I think they all work for the show, I can’t really remember their names but I think the guy with the curly hair brought a lot of spice and funk to the show.

PRODUCER: Zuma?

RICHIE RICH: I guess that's his name, I know the guy I’m talking about I’ve seen hang out with my brother a lot, him and another guy.

PRODUCER: Ok so yes you're talking about Zuma and Keon, they're actually a couple.

RICHIE RICH: Oh ok, thats cute for them. I thought the lawyer girl was sassy and she always dressed nice, I mean I liked everyone, I thought they all did a good job, even the ones that came super late in the show.

PRODUCER: You know how contract negotiations can go. I wanted to ask you about this movie MIL just tweeted about starring you and A’leah Jordan, can you tell us anything about that and how you were picked?

RICHIE RICH: I’m super excited about this opportunity, when MIL sent me that email and I opened it, I figured it was another shot at them trying to get me to come back to the show but when I saw MIL Films, my whole mood changed. It's surreal because I never considered myself an actor or even thought about acting, but it's a check and a new experience that I may enjoy. I’m nervous, but I can conquer anything I set my mind too, so bring it on MIL.

PRODUCER: The movie is called ”10 Rules To Stay Alive.” and it's supposed to be a slasher flick, how are you preparing for that and have you met A’Leah yet?

RICHIE RICH: I met A’Leah earlier today actually during a meeting we had about the movie and she’s great. I think we will work great together in the movie, I thought she was going to be my love interest but it turns out she’s playing my sister. As for what I’m doing to prepare, I’m doing everything. I’ve been working out and practicing like acting in the mirror, it's so corny and Yeshua makes fun of me all the time but I want to kill this road, you never know another producer might discover me and put me in one of their films.

PRODUCER: Which is so true, a first impression can be a long lasting one. Listen Noah, I really appreciate you talking to me and giving us a little update on what’s been going on with you and I want to tell you that your home is amazing and I wish you and Yeshua luck in your relationship and all your future endeavors, and again congratulations on the film.

RICHIE RICH: Thank you.
