#theLIFENY Season 1, Episode 3 (Unseen Footage)
The scene opens up outside of Amonteās Jersey home, Amonte is shown in the backyard messing around with some flowers and other decorations he has going on in the back, still trying to make his home completely his, he wants to freshen the place up and make his home look really nice. Leah walks out carrying two glasses of wine, she walks over to the chairs. Amonte just finished setting up and sits down in one of them.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Amonte sit down, youāve been at this all day and you know weāre going to Mexico soon, shouldnāt you be packing?
AMONTE JORDAN: Thatās the difference between you and me, I like to get shit done.
A'LEAH JORDAN: True, I procrastinate sometimes so Iāll give you that.
AMONTE JORDAN: But anyway weāre about to have company, a friend of mine was in New York and you know heās from Philly, he stopped in Jersey to see some family before heading back and he wanted to come check out my new place.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Who?
AMONTE JORDAN: Nasir girl, you know.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Oh, you're talking about Keonās ex-fling before he got his new boo.
AMONTE JORDAN: Look I didnāt say all that, those are your words not mine.
AMONTE JORDAN: I swear Leah can be so messy at times, but she is not lying. Nasir is a friend of mine who I introduced to Keon, now this was before Zuma but letās just say the two still had a close friendship during the first few weeks of the relationship. Nasir does a lot of work in New York so heās always traveling, now Iām sure a lot of you are familiar with Nasir, I called him Nasir but the world calls him TRAPP. Yes the ex of Jalen Holmes!
Amonte giggles.
AMONTE JORDAN: I swear this is such a small world, but anyway I told Trapp that since he wasnāt hanging out in Atlanta anymore that he should pull up on me, let me introduce him to some of the crew and you know network a little, donāt worry it's no shade.
The scene cuts back to Amonte and Leah outside, the scene quickly cuts to the driveway where a 2020 Dodger Challenge all black pulls into the driveway, music blasting from the speakers, the door swings open and Trapp hops out of the driverās side.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yo world it's ya boy Nasir Grant, aka TRAPP. A lot of yāall remember me from the relationship I had with Jalen, but that's old news. Since the breakup with me and Isaiah, I kind of just been keeping to myself, laying low and making some music.
PRODUCER: Are you still in contact with Jalen?
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: We donāt talk like that, but if we see each other in passing then it's all love, Iām happy for Dallas and Jalen, it's not beef on this end.
The scene cuts back to Trapp walking up to the door, he knocks twice before walking inside the house.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yooooo, Amonte where the fuck you at?
Trapp walks down the long hallway until he reaches the main living room, he looks up at the chandeliers hanging from the tall ceilings,
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Man this house nice as fuckā¦ YOOOO AMONTE, where the fuck you at?
Trapp notices Amonte and his sister sitting outside through the patio door, he walks over to the door and swings it open.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Damn Iāve been screaming ya name for like ten minutes, this house is damn big.
AMONTE JORDAN: You know I donāt like small things boy, come here and give me some love.
Amonte jumps up from the chair and embraces Trapp with a long hug, Trapp moves his hand down Amonteās back brushing it against the top of Amonteās left butt cheek.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yeah I know, hey whatās up Leah?
Leah walks over to Trapp and gives him a hug also while giving him a kiss on the cheek.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Iām so happy you are here, I didnāt know you weāre coming.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Oh Iām staying long, I just wanted to stop and see yāall before I head back to Philly, I got a studio session with Beanie tomorrow and that nigga wants me to be on time. I wanted to check out the place because from the pictures that Amonte has sent me, this shit looks nice and I was right.
AMONTE JORDAN: Thanks luv, when I saw this place I had to get it. Once I get it fully furnished I plan on having an housewarming, you should come.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: You know Iāll be there.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Keon will too.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Awww shit.
AMONTE JORDAN: Here go my sister starting some shit, but hey I prefer Trapp over Zuma anyway, Trapp is fine, he has money, and the man has talent unlike Zuma and his payless clothes he is trying to force down the consumers throat.
The scene cuts back to the three.
A'LEAH JORDAN: Iām just saying, you two had a little thing going on, what happened?
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Man i just ended it with Isaiah a few months ago, so I really wasnāt trying to be tied down, Keon is cool but he wanted to be in a serious relationship and I wasnāt ready for that shit, I didnāt want to hurt him so I told him we was better off as friends.
A'LEAH JORDAN: But I know you miss him.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yeah his company was cool, he knew how to take the stress off a nigga, but I know he in a relationship now so I respect that.
AMONTE JORDAN: A horrible relationship.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Damn, why do you say that?
AMONTE JORDAN: The dude heās with just isnāt man enough to handle Keon, he needs a strong man like you, or someone thatās not Zuma. Maybe you two can reconnect while you're in town sometimes, Iām sure he would love to see you.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Ahh I donāt know, you know Iām not with that drama. I respect his relationship so I donāt want to cause any problems, if he wants to kick it as friends then Iām cool with that.
AMONTE JORDAN: No baby you need to save him, heās drowning in this relationship.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: I donāt know Amonteās intentions on bringing up Keon and trying to get me so go out with him knowing that heās in a relationship, see Iām not into that messy shit, because if a nigga tries me then it might be his last day walking this earth.
The scene cuts back to the three.
AMONTE JORDAN: It was just a few weeks ago that we all partied at The Phoenix Nightclub, I mean during that time Keon and Zuma were dating but that didnāt stop you two from having a little fun.
PRODUCER: What happened at The Phoenix Nightclub?
AMONTE JORDAN: Look I donāt want to spill all my friends tea, but let's just say the two went into the bathroom and got a little comfortable.
PRODUCER: How do you know this?
AMONTE JORDAN: I was there, I saw it with my own two eyes.
Amonte smirks while taking a sip of his water he has, the scene cuts back to the tree.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Come on now, look at you being messy.
Trapp looks at the cameraman that is filming them.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yo donāt air this shit, I donāt want nobody thinking Iām cool with this.
AMONTE JORDAN: Iām just joking boy, all Iām saying is we all had a fun time that night and we should all hang out again, thatās all.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Yeah Yeah, look let's talk about something else before I have to deal with a Twitter war online.
AMONTE JORDAN: I guess I can give you a full tour, you have to see my movie theater and my game room, it's amazing.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Ha, I bet you do have them both, I wouldnāt be surprised if you had a bowling alley and a basketball court.
AMONTE JORDAN: Bowling alley now, but basketball court we can check that out after we leave the wine room.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: DAMN!
The three jump up and head back into the house as the scene fades.

KEON CAMP: Iāll see you again Mari, maybe next week you can come stay at my house and we can have a sleepover, would you like that?
Mariah shakes her head āYesā she gives her big brother Keon a hug, Keon lets go of his sister and he wipes the tear from his eyes.
MARIAH CAMP: Donāt cry Keon, everything will be okay.
KEON CAMP: I love you.
Keon kisses his sister on the cheek and gives her another hug, he lets her go and he turns and heads for the front door, Keon opens the door and walks out and the scene fades.

BETHENNY CAMP: Sorry honey I have a client that just called, she is throwing money at me so I need to take this hair appointment.
AMARI KENT: It's cool mom, we need the money so I understand.
BETHENNY CAMP: Thank you honey, leftovers are in the fridge and your father is out on an interview, he should be home shortly.
Bethenny kisses Amari on the cheek and she rushes out the door, Amari walks into the kitchen and pulls out the leftovers wrapped up on a plate with aluminum foil covering it, he unwraps the plate and places it in the microwave.
AMARI KENT: I had a lot of fun in Mexico, I didnāt want to come back and face reality, but I knew I would have to. Ever since my Dad lost his job times has been really tough on my parents, from what theyāre telling me we could be on the verge of losing our home, which is why it's important to book as many gigs as I can because I would hate myself if I sat back and let my parents lose the same home they fought so hard to get.
PRODUCER: Is modeling your only set of income?
AMARI KENT: I do modeling and some other stuff, but I wonāt talk about that.
Amari smiles as the scene cuts back to the house, the microwave finishes heating up the food as the beeping noise grows louder, Amariās annoyance and patients become shorter. Amari pulls the food out of the microwave and starts to sit down but is interrupted by the door bell, he looks around confused as to who it might be but he walks over and opens the door.
AMARI KENT: Damn what's up Tommii? I didnāt know you were still coming. I had text you but I didnāt get a response.
TOMMII DREKKO: Man you know my phone be trippin, plus when Iām in the studio I really donāt be on my phone like that, my main focus is the music and I donāt like too many distractions, but I told you I would pull up after I was done.
AMARI KENT: I know, but I figured you may have gotten busy.
TOMMII DREKKO: Nah, I always follow through with what I say Iām going to do.
TOMMII DREKKO: Amari is a cool ass nigga, I met him a few months back at a club, he was dancing as a Go-Go dancer and shit I was feeling his vibes so we exchanged numbers, linked up for a date and things been cool since. I wonāt say weāre exclusive because I aināt looking for no relationship but I will say I got mad love for him.
The scene cuts back to the two.
TOMMII DREKKO: Iām still tired from Mexico, I didnāt know I was going to have an unapproved concert, but I didnāt mind rapping on the mic a bit at that club just so people can notice my music.
AMARI KENT: I thought you were lit, I mean everyone in the crowd were on their feet dancing. You even had me grinding and moving my hips!
TOMMII DREKKO: Oh I peeped you in the corner dancing trying not to be seen, but thatās cool with me though, I love seeing people rock out to my shit.
AMARI KENT: You got talent.
AMARI KENT: I already know Tommii trying to spit game so he can get in between, but it doesnāt work that fast with me, i will admit there is sexual tension between us but I refuse to give in so quickly, that's the problem with these dudes today, they're so quick to give up their body not realizing that it could possibly be a mistake, danger to their health or a one nighter, and those are three things i donāt want to deal with.
The scene cuts back to the two.
TOMMII DREKKO: I appreciate that, now I just need the world to see that.
AMARI KENT: Iām sure they will.
TOMMII DREKKO: So where are your parents? Is it just me and you alone right now?
Amari nods.
TOMMII DREKKO: So let's go upstairs to your bedroom and chill there.
Amari blushes as he responds with āOk.ā the two both leave the kitchen and head up the staircase towards Amariās bedroom, the scene fades.

#theLIFENY Season 1, Episode 5 (Unseen Footage)
The scene opens in White Plains, NY. The Windsor at the Gramercy appears on the screen showcasing the luxurious apartment building, the scene fades to the front entrance where Keon and Zuma are shown walking inside and heading towards the elevator.
KEON CAMP: Thank you for coming babe, this is a big deal for me because Iāve never introduced a boy I was with to my grandparents.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Iām really excited to be here with you, but a little nervous too no lie. I think this is the first time Iāve ever met a guyās family.
KEON CAMP: I just know theyāll love you.
KEON CAMP: Today was a very important day, since Zuma and I were getting serious, I mean really serious, itās only right I introduce him to the people I care and love the most. I know people are probably wondering why I didnāt introduce him to my parents first but I wouldnāt even waste the time because I know my parents would be rude, especially my father.
Keon shakes his head.
KEON CAMP: But having the approval from my grandparents will make me so happy.
The scene cuts back to the two, they ride the elevator up to the third level and they exit the elevator walking towards his grandparents front door, they reach the destination and Keon knocks.
KEON CAMP: I can already smell the cooked food, grandma always makes sure I eat.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Sounds like my kind of person. Smells good too. I'm starving.
The door swings open and Barbara, Keonās grandmother greets them both with a hug.
BARBARA CAMP: Thank you sweetie for coming to see us, your grandpa is on the toilet but heāll be down to meet us in a little bit.
KEON CAMP: Come on grandma, thatās embarrassing.
BARBARA CAMP: Everyone shits.
Barbara, Keon, and Zuma walk further into the apartment, both Keon and Zuma admire how the apartment is set up from the decorations to all the designs and even the furniture. The three head into the kitchen, Baraba continues cooking on the stove while Zuma and Keon sit at the island in front of her.
BARBARA CAMP: So how was the drive? Iām sure traffic was hell.
KEON CAMP: You already know how NY traffic is.
BARBARA CAMP: Oh I know, I just got my third speeding ticket in the mail and another one for road rage.
KEON CAMP: Grandma, are you still acting reckless behind the wheel?
BARBARA CAMP: Key you know your grandma is Impatient, my attitude behind the wheel will never change, but anyway what have you two been up to?
Barbara looks at Zuma.
BARBARA CAMP: And excuse my rude grandson he didnāt even introduce you when you guys walked in.
KEON CAMP: I already told you his name over the phone.
BARBARA CAMP: It doesnāt matter, itās the polite thing to do and you were raised better than that, donāt be out here acting like your ignorant father. That motherfucker!
KEON CAMP: Grannie, chill.
BARBARA CAMP: He just makes me so mad, but thatās my son and even though I canāt stand him, I still love him.
KEON CAMP: Itās cool, heās still my dad so at the end of the day I will always love him, I just donāt have to like him. He said some really messed up things to me the other day, so we arenāt on good terms right now.
BARBARA CAMP: I know he called me and told me what happened, I cursed him out good. He was supposed to call you and apologize, but Iām guessing he didnāt, that sucka.
KEON CAMP: Letās talk about something else.
BARBARA CAMP: How long have you guys been dating?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: oh...ummm...I guess itās been a few months now, maāamā¦
ZUMA ROCKWELL: When Keon invited me to come meet his grandparents I was a little surprised but in a good way. Whenever Keon talks about his family, itās usually his parents and letās just say I havenāt heard the best things about them. Like I know itās got to be hard not having the support of his parents...but from what I hear, his relationship with his grandparents is totally different. Either way, Iām glad that weāre taking the next step in our relationship. Heās already met my mom and she totally loves him so hopefully I make a good impression on his fam too. Lord knows I donāt need more of Keonās people hating me haha.
The scene then switches back to the interior of Keonās grandparents home.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: But itās felt like a lot longer than that. Your grandson is really special...itās been awesome getting to know him...and I gotta say your place is really amazing.
BARBARA CAMP: Listen my grandson has been through a lot, he has a damaged soul but a loving heart and if you are going to be a part of his life then I want you to cherish that, donāt hurt him or I may have to first 48 your ass.
Barbara laughs while Keon sighs.
KEON CAMP: Grannie please.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Haha trust me you have nothing to worry aboutā¦
Zuma says with a chuckle.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: I would never do anything to intentionally hurt Keon...like ever.
BARBARA CAMP: So tell me about your parents Zuma, do you have a good relationship with them? Has Keon met them?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Well Key has met my mom...she used to be a supermodel in the 90ās but now sheās a photographer and really into yoga and stuff like that...she really likes Keon. He hasnāt met my dad yet. He used to play in the NFL but now heās a correspondent for some sports show which means heās in LA a lot. Iām hoping Iāll get the chance to introduce Keon to them soon but to answer your question, yeah weāre all really close. Almost too close...they can be a little overbearing, my mom especially. For example, the way Keon was introduced to my mom was totally by accident. We just woke up one day and she was there in my apartment...poor Keon was in his underwear.
BARBARA CAMP: Oh wow interesting way to meet.
Barbara heads over to the stove to finish making plates for everyone, she walks over and hands one plate to Zuma and the other one to Keon, filled with healthy and delicious breakfast foods, the two start eating. Suddenly a voice that Keon recognizes is heard coming from the top of the stairs, his grandfather Kenneth aka Kenny makes his way down the stairs and into the kitchen, he walks over to Keon and gives him a huge hug before introducing himself to Zuma.
KENNETH CAMP: Keon you finally made it, I thought I was going to be 6ft under by the time you got here.
KEON CAMP: Pap Pap, not everyone drives crazy like yāall do, I just said this a few minutes ago.
KENNETH CAMP: Son you better hope you can still whip a car like we do when you get to our age. Anyway, it's nice to finally meet you Zuma, I've heard really nice things about you.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: itās nice to finally meet you too sir. Keon has told me nothing but great things about you and his grandmother/
KENNETH CAMP: Are you guys planning to stay the night, I would hope so.
KEON CAMP: Uhhh I wasnāt planning on it, we both have things we have to do in the morning.
BARBARA CAMP: No that would be silly for you to drive back tonight, and I havenāt spent time with my grandson in so long so I was hoping we could catch up dear.
Keon looks over at Zuma.
KEON CAMP: What do you think?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Iā¦.think thatās really generous and it would be totally rude to say no. Plus Iām dying to hear stories about what you were like as a kid.
Keon playfully kicks Zumaās leg under the table.
KEON CAMP: Yeah that's what I was trying to avoid.
BARBARA CAMP: Great! Itās settled, Iāll start getting the room you guys will sleep in together, it's the same room Keon would sleep in when he was younger.
Barbara starts to walk off but then turns around and walks over to a stand that has a drawer to it, she opens the drawer and pulls out a photo album. Keon who notices the album from afar sighs.
KEON CAMP: Grannie please donāt show him my baby pictures, like we donāt need to see them.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: UMMMMā¦.we DEFINITELY need to see them!
BARBARA CAMP: Oh come on Key, donāt be like that. I want to show him the one of you naked in the bathtub trying to see that Mariah Carey song, thatās my favorite one.
KEON CAMP: No, he doesnāt need to see it, especially that one.
Keon slaps his hand over his face, embarrassed by the photos his grandma is showing to Zuma.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Oh my god lookā¦is he...it looks like heās trying to hit a high note! Iām gonna die from cuteness overload!
BARBARA CAMP: Anyway, Iām going to go and start getting you guys room together, enjoy the photos.
KENNETH CAMP: Donāt mind Barb, she loves embarrassing her grandkids. But Iām happy that you decided to stay the night, this will make her very happy.
KEON CAMP: Iāll go help her.
Keon jumps up from the table and heads up the stairs to his old room leaving Zuma and Kenneth alone in the kitchen.
KENNETH CAMP: Donāt worry son I wonāt sit here and grill you half to death, if Keon likes you then I like you.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Well thatās definitely a relief. Thanks again for letting us stay over.
KENNETH CAMP: I do want you to know there will be some challenges you may face if you two really decide to spend your future together, I donāt know if heās told you about his relationship with his parents but it's not a good one, his father can be very disrespectful but I want you to let me know if you ever run into an issue with him, that is my son but I can still take his ass down.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: haha thatās good to know...and Iāve heard about how tense things are with his parents...but like I was telling Miss Barbara earlier, my family is insanely close so there will be plenty of smothering to go around, trust me.
KENNETH CAMP: I think we should also plan maybe a family dinner, just so we can meet everyone. We are a very tight family so when we let new people in, we just like to get a feel of everyone. I hope that wouldnāt be an issue?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Not at all...I might need your help with the dress code though...just kidding. It sounds like fun.
KENNETH CAMP: Great!
Keon yells for Zuma to meet him upstairs, Zuma excuses himself away from the table and heads upstairs to the bedroom.
KEON CAMP: You know we really didnāt have to stay if you didnāt want to.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Are you kidding? and deal with that traffic again twice in the same day?...no but seriously Iām happy we stayed. I like your grandparents..theyāre sweet.
KEON CAMP: It warms my heart to see Zuma getting along with my grandparents, i mean hell they must like him if they're asking him to stay the night. I donāt know why I was so nervous but now that they've met, the only other hurdle I have to get through is introducing him to my parents and that right there could be a mess.
The scene cuts back to the two. He walks up to Cashier and places it on the counter.
KEON CAMP: Well it's still early so I guess we can kind of hang out with them for a bit.
Zuma shakes his head yes and the two share a kiss, the scene fades.

#theLIFENY Season 1, Episode 5 (Unseen Footage)
The scene reopens on the inside of Baba Convenience store in manhattan. Cameras pan through the store until it reaches the back where Cadence is shown grabbing a soda from the fridge.
CASHIER:2 bucks.
Cadence hands the cashier a five dollar bill from his pocket.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Keep the change mama. Thanks.
He walks out of the bodega and starts walking down the street. He sees a man selling flowers on the corner. He buys a bouquet and continues walking.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: So, after bumping into Amonte at Zumaās fashion show, i felt like we should finally talk. Itās been over a week, and I miss him. But i also don't wanna keep going if this is how weāre gonna be. Itās time for us to talk face to face. I donāt know how this is gonna turn out. I might not make it out alive.
He chuckles as the scene returns to Cadence who is now shown standing in front of Amonteās door. He knocks on the door and places the flowers behind his back. Shortly after, Amonte opens the door. Cadence smiles
CADENCE WASHINGTON: What's good shawty?
AMONTE JORDAN: (grunts) Hey Cadence.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: You gon let me in?
AMONTE JORDAN: I donāt have to tell you to come in, you know what to do.
Amonte rolls his eyes and lets Cadence in.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I missed you boo
AMONTE JORDAN: Oh did you, doesnāt seem that way to me, I guess your new friends Todrick and Zuma are too busy so thatās why you're here at my doorstep, I donāt have time for this right now.
Amonte plops down on his plush couch and grabs the remote, he turns the tv on and wraps himself up in his small blanket.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Come on bae, I just got here, you already on it, I just came to talk, Don't you think it's time. Weāve barely spoken since mexico. And Zuma spot definitely wasnāt the place for none of that,
Cadence sits next to Amonte and tries to rub on his leg. Amonte brushes him off.
AMONTE JORDAN: Yeah I guess you're right, Iām just annoyed because I donāt want to be that boyfriend that makes you pick and choose who you can be friends with but out of all people why them? Those two disrespect the hell out of me and my sister too much and yeah I get you donāt like Leah but Iām still her brother and whatever affects me should affect you just a little, you want me to be happy so bad but yet you can see the stuff that goes down when it comes to those two weirdos upsets me.
AMONTE JORDAN: Iām trying here, I really am but I canāt help that my anger takes control and itās hard for me to let stuff go. I know this isnāt all Cadence fault and yes I play a role in all this drama too but damn can you have my back at least once?
Amonte shakes his head as the scene cuts back to the two. Cadence sighs
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I donāt know man. Itās hard. You know I donāt really fuck wit a lotta people. All my peopleās back in vegas. When I came here all I really had was you. And youāre doin ya own thing. And even though I wouldnāt mind spending all my time with you we like different shit. You got your friends. And Zuma and Toddy happened to be cool. If you want me to stop talking to them, I will. But I would hope you wouldnāt make me do that. I really think yall can work out whatever issue yall got.
AMONTE JORDAN: What the hell are you hiding behind your back? Why is your arm behind your back?
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Oh yea. I got you something
He pulls his hand from behind his back to show him the bouquet of flowers.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Iām not really good with all the romantics, but I really wanna show you that Iām trying to change. Iām trying to be this man you want.
Amonte looks out the flowers and smiles.
AMONTE JORDAN: Iāve never really had a guy give me flowers so excuse me for not being overly excited, it's different but I like it. Itās a nice gesture especially since you are in the dog house right now.
Amonte shrugs, he gets up from the couch and walks over to the table where an empty vase sits. He places the flowers inside the vase and carries it over to the sink to run some water in it.
AMONTE JORDAN: You must have read my mind or something because I just tossed away some old flowers this morning but I bought those for myself to make my place look nice.
Amonte laughs as he walks back over to the couch and joins Cadenceās again, this time he allows Cadence to get under the blanket with him and Amonte lays his head on Cadence chest a little.
AMONTE JORDAN: I never asked you to stop talking to them, did I find it weird you continued a friendship with them after they disrespected me.
Amonte nods.
AMONTE JORDAN: Hell yeah, but again Iām not that type of boyfriend that will make you choose, what I do want you to do is when they come for me, maybe have my back a little thatās all Iām asking for because if a guy was to come after you, I would have your back one hundred percent. PERIOD!
Cadence kisses him on his forehead.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: That much i can do. I was just always taught to stay out of womenās fights. But i guess it's different cuz you yall aināt women. I still have a lot to figure out, But iām trying. But we also gotta talk about ya sister. Shawty definitely be outta pocket bae.
AMONTE JORDAN: I think Leah is only trying to protect me and maybe the way she handles things isnāt the best way but thatās my sister and as a child I dealt with a lot of pain, yeah my homelife was good but my life outside my home wasnāt the best.
AMONTE JORDAN: I think growing up I was very guarded, I had friends but not many. And just like every other gay kid in America well most but maybe not all, I dealt with peer pressure and stress for being gay. I was bullied to the point where sometimes I didnāt even want to go to school, I didnāt know what to expect or what could possibly happen to me if I stepped foot through those doors. So yeah it bothers me a bit when Zuma and Todrick come at me the way they do, it takes me back to a place I never want to revisit.
The scene cuts back to the two.
AMONTE JORDAN: I was bullied a lot as a child and I think thatās why once I became an adult, my guard and my attitude got worse. I mean look how long it took for you to get me to go on a date with you, I donāt trust easily and when someone crosses me then itās done. I care about you a lot and the last thing I want us to do is break up over some bullshit, especially over scum like Todrick and Zuma.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: And I would drop them in a second if i knew it meant losing you.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I fuck with Monte the long way, the short way, and every other way. I literally chased this dude for months before he even gave me his number. And we came a long way. I'm glad heās not making me choose because I donāt have many friends out here. But I do realize I gotta figure out a way to be friends with my boys and still be a good boyfriend. Is there a manual for this shit. I really need help.
He chuckles as the scene returns to the two
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Speaking of long time bae. Itās been a long time since uhā¦ you know
He smirks looking at Amonte.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I know Iām in the dog house. But even dogs get a lil treat from time to time.
AMONTE JORDAN: Yes good dogs do, not the bad ones. But youāve kind of redeemed yourself so you might get an extra treat tonight.
Amonte smirks while he watches Cadence start playfully acting like a dog. He gets down on his knees and starts barking.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Doggy tryna bone bae. You know you missed me. Gimme a treat.
He chuckles and starts humping on his leg.
AMONTE JORDAN: Boy if you donāt get off me with that mess, come on let's go into the bedroom.
Amonte grabs Cadence by the arm and the two make their way upstairs, the scene fades to black.
#theLIFENY Season 1, Episode 1 (Unseen Footage)
The scene opens up inside of the ROCKSUGAR boutique. Zuma is seen alone in the store, putting away new inventory when the door opens. In walks an older, distinguished looking man dressed in a business suit.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Hey sorry weāre closed.
MAN: You shouldnāt leave the door unlocked then. No telling what kind of unsavory characters might just walk in off the streets.
The man says with a smile as he looks Zuma over appraisingly.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: So I was minding my business and closing up shop when, all of a sudden, in walks a ghost from my past. His name is Isaac Rosen and heās, for lack of a better term, a guy I used to be in a relationship with...that is until I found out he was married!!! We havenāt seen each other since we broke up earlier this year because...letās just say things didnāt exactly end on old terms.
The scene cuts back to the boutique with Zuma standing behind the register with his brow narrowed and his arms folded across his chest. Isaac casually makes his way to the register, stopping here and there to admire the merchandise...as well as the clothes.
ISAAC ROSEN: Look at you...you finally opened up that boutique you were always talking about. Iām proud of you.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: What are you doing here, Isaac?
ISAAC ROSEN: I was in town. I still keep up with you on social media and I saw that you opened your store...figured Iād come by to congratulate you.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Your wife know youāre here?
ISAAC ROSEN: Oh come on. Canāt a guy just drop in to support an old friend?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: We are NOT friends.
ISAAC ROSEN: Is that so? Then what do you call the last three years we shared together? All the good timesā¦
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Call it whatever you want. Whatever it was is tainted because it was nothing but lies.
ISAAC ROSEN: Lies? I never lied. I told you I was separated.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Um okay but how fucking separated could you be when you and your wife were and still are living together?!
ISAAC ROSEN: I didnāt see you complaining when I was showering you with gifts and cars and cash.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Come the fuck on dude, I was a kid.
ISAAC ROSEN: You were 18 when we met!
ZUMA ROCKWELL: Yeah and youāre like three times my age are you kidding me? The shit you pulled probably fucked me up in ways I donāt even realize yet. I meant it when I said I never wanted to see you again yet here you are.
ISAAC ROSEN: Youāve said that so many times before though and we always got back together.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: WELP, I guess when you know better you do better. Besides, im seeing a new guy now so I really donāt have time for your bullshit. Good day, sir!
ISAAC ROSEN: Youāre being a little dramatic, donāt you think?
ZUMA ROCKWELL: I SAID GOOD DAY, SIR!
ISAAC ROSEN: Fine...have it your wayā¦
Isaac says before turning and walking toward the exit.
ISAAC ROSEN: Youāll be back...you never forget your first.
With that, Isaac exits the boutique and Zuma rolls his eyes before the scene cuts to his confessional.
ZUMA ROCKWELL: I donāt know what Isaac was trying to accomplish by dropping in on me like this...like he said he was coming to congratulate me but I know him..we were together for three years...he really was trying to get back together or at least trying to get back in my pants. After finding out that heād been lying to me for so long, I honestly feel like I donāt even know who this man is. He might as well be a stranger. Iām just glad to finally have had the chance to close that particular chapter of my life. There are so many much BIGGER things to look forward to.
Zuma smirks and winks at the camera before taking a sip of his drink. The Life NY logo flashes across the scene before fading to black.
