I got all this love, waiting just for you
I just gotta know, that your love is true
Can't keep running boy, in and out my life
Wanna be your girl, not cause the mood is right
If I let you come inside, tomorrow will you hide
Will you be there for me, when I need someone to hold me
Baby, don't misunderstand, I do want you for my man
I just need a little time, before I invest my love
Don't walk away boy, (ooh don't walk away)
My love won't hurt you (no no)
Don't walk away boy
I'll be right there for you
I just gotta know, that your love is true
Can't keep running boy, in and out my life
Wanna be your girl, not cause the mood is right
If I let you come inside, tomorrow will you hide
Will you be there for me, when I need someone to hold me

I just need a little time, before I invest my love

OFF CAMERA
The scene opens up with “Don’t Walk Away” By Jade blasting through the bluetooth speakers sitting on the fireplace ledge located in Amonte’s spacious living room. Amonte is shown walking throughout the house just wearing a pair of boxer briefs singing the lyrics to himself. He walks down the long hallway which takes him to the main staircase that leads him downstairs. Amonte walks into the living room where Cadence is shown sitting on the couch playing Cyberpunk 2077 on the PS5. Amonte walks over to Cadence and stands in front of him forcing him to get killed by one of the opponents on the game. Cadence lets out a huge groan.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Damn baby, you just made me die.
AMONTE JORDAN: You’ve been on that game all fucking day, I need a little TLC.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Oh shit, I thought you might of had enough, shit we was fucking all morning.
AMONTE JORDAN: Yeah you had a lot to make up for.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I know, will there ever be a day I won’t be in the dog house?
AMONTE JORDAN: That’s up to you, if you stop doing shit that puts you in the dog house then we wouldn’t have any issue.
Since the show wrapped, Cadence and I have been doing very well minus him hanging out with the Opps, I still don’t like that shit but he has a good soul and I can’t force him not to be friends with them, I know if I asked him to then he would probably listen but I don’t want to be that boyfriend that forces his man to pick his friends over me, as bad as I want to, I’m not that mean!
But I would be lying if I said the friendship between Cadence and the rest of the clowns does bother me, hopefully I can get past it and just let it go but as of now, that shit is still fucking with me.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: That’s the thing yo, I don’t be doing shit.
AMONTE JORDAN: Don’t ruin the moment.
The front door to Amonte’s home swings open and A’Leah walks in, she yells “Amonte’s” name a couple times before he finally answers. A’Leah walks down the hallway passing the kitchen and dining room before finally reaching the living room where Amonte and Cadence were still sitting.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Guess it's too late, the moment has now been ruined.
Cadence turns the PS5 off and he gets up from the couch.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I'll catch you later Monte, the energy is this room just got dark and I don’t want any parts of it.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Hmmm and as I entered the room, I started to smell a odor and knew you had to be somewhere close.
Cadence ignores A’Leahs comment by not responding, instead he sticks his middle finger up and exits the room.
AMONTE JORDAN: Dammit it Leah, why is it everytime you come over here you have to start with Cadence?
A’LEAH JORDAN:Because I don’t like his broke stank ass and you need to drop him like a bad habit and move onto someone beter, someone with some money, goals and a fucking shower that he uses.
AMONTE JORDAN: Cadence does shower Leah, stop it!
A’LEAH JORDAN:Could have fooled me, everytime I get around him it smells like burnt eggs or rubber.
AMONTE JORDAN: What are you doing here anyway? I thought you were staying the night over your “friend” house tonight, you’ve been talking about spending time with this guy all week and now that the day is here, you're not with him, instead you’re here staring in my face.
A’LEAH JORDAN:I know how badly you wanted the house to yourself but I’m sorry, things have changed. He just did something that really turned me off so I decided to come home instead of staying the night, I’ll probably call him in a few days and make up some excuses of why i had to leave abruptly but you know once something turns me off then I’m usually done completely.
AMONTE JORDAN: Yeah and that’s something I’ve been trying to get you to change about yourself, you’ve probably missed out on a lot of good men with that attitude you have.
A’LEAH JORDAN:It's not attitude, it's being real. You can’t trust these dudes, majority of them aren’t loyal, i mean look at your man for example, you guys have had your ups and downs but here he is still trying to be apart of your life but hanging out with people who constantly bully you on a daily basis, it's to the point where it's borderline stalkerish and weird.
Amonte sits quietly for a second.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Look I’m not trying to upset you, but you know i have my reservations about Cadence, he just hasn’t done anything that has wow’d me or made me feel like he is good enough to be apart your life, and lets not forget the demons he struggle with and I’m just afraid he’s going to let that get the best of him and he’s going to bring you down in the process.
AMONTE JORDAN: I appreciate the concern but I got this.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Whatever you say, all I know is when he does let you down, then I’ll be in your corner to help you heal. Because it's going to happen, that man is not stable at all. And this act he’s putting on won’t last forever!
AMONTE JORDAN: I hear you.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Anyway, can you please go put some clothes on because I feel really weird sitting here talking to you while you're half naked.
AMONTE JORDAN: This is my house and I thought I was going to have some privacy but I guess that won’t happen tonight.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Boy this house is so big I barely hear anything in this house so you guys can have all the privacy you want, I’ll be in my room for the rest of the night.
Leah jumps up from the couch and walks toward the stairwell, she makes her way up the stairs leaving Amonte on the couch alone, he grabs the remote and turns the tv back on and the scene fades to black.
I understand my sister's concern, and I get why she’s frustrated with Cadence. Since we’ve been together we’ve been through a lot of shit, a lot of shit that couples probably shouldn’t go through so early in the relationship but I mean life happens and i feel like so many people have given up on him and I don’t want to be one of those “people.” I’ve supported Cadence financially, mentally, and emotionally and at this point I am drained.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Damn baby, you just made me die.

OFF CAMERA
The scene opens up inside of Amonte’s private office that he was able to find and set up for himself, Amonte is shown sitting at his desk going over some orders for his sunglasses line, he fulfills a few the orders while placing some of the other pairs or back-order. Amonte picks the office phone up and dials his assistant Jeremy Peach line. Jeremy picks the phone up and Amonte asks him to join him in his office.
JEREMY PEACH: You asked to see me Mr. Jordan?
AMONTE JORDAN: Jeremy I told you that you can call me Amonte or Monte, this is a laid back environment around these parts and I get your trying to be respectful, but you can call me by my first name, it's fine.
JEREMY PEACH: Ok Mr. Jordan, I mean Amonte.
AMONTE JORDAN: I just wanted to say thank you for staying late these last few days, I didn’t think my glasses would sell out so quickly but I guess I have more supporters then I think I had. After the show stopped filming, my fellow castmates decided to go on multiple rants spilling lies about me trying to make me look like the villain making false allegations about my sunglasses not selling.
JEREMY PEACH: But they're selling like hotcakes.
AMONTE JORDAN: And the price keeps going up and up and up.
JEREMY PEACH: I'll make some calls about getting some product here and also make sure they haven’t sold out in the stores the products are located in, if they have sold out then I’ll make sure to replenish the empty glass cases. I also wanted to let you know we had a few people saying they didn’t get the product they order, when I check the tracking numbers they still say the items are on the truck, so I don’t know what we should do about that.
AMONTE JORDAN: Mail has been messed up all over the united states so it could be a delay on the post office’s part. The only thing I can say is give it a few more days and if it's not delivered then we can go ahead and ship via UPS and waive that fee, I want to cater to my customers and let them know I care and that I’m not out here just to take their money.
JEREMY PEACH: Makes sense, i’ll make sure to stay on top of the orders then.
AMONTE JORDAN: I appreciate that Jeremy, without your help I don’t know where I would be.
JEREMY PEACH: Probably in an asylum somewhere going crazy, but don’t worry I got your back.
Amonte looks up and notices a guy walking towards his office, as the guy gets closer to the door, Amonte realizes that it's Nasir Grant, aka Trapp. Amonte smiles as he dismisses Jeremy and Trapp makes his way into Amonte’s office closing the door behind him.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: What's up Monte? I got your message to meet you here, is this your office?
AMONTE JORDAN: All mines.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: This shit is nice man, it's nice to see you on the come up, but anyway what was it that you wanted to talk to me about?
AMONTE JORDAN: Well as you know I have this sunglass line and I’ve been thinking about doing a underwear and sock line too, if i decide to go that route then I was hoping you would be interested in wearing some of my material, you know model.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: I aint really a model.
AMONTE JORDAN: I see the thirst traps you post on social media, plus you have the image for what I’m looking for in these shoots.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: I hope this isn’t a scheme to try and get me and Keon in the same room together.
Trapp chuckles to himself.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: But look I told you I got your back so whatever you need I’ll do, just make sure you send me a schedule ahead of time so I can make sure i’m available. My music has been taking off so a lot of producers have been wanting to work with me and these club venues have been trying to book me and everytime we think something is going to happen, then it's either some new restrictions or people get too scared to come out.
AMONTE JORDAN: Make sense, but don’t worry it's not a setup and sadly my friend is too caught up with the guy he's with now, I don’t know what he sees in him but hopefully it doesn’t last any longer.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: You must really hate that nigga he with.
AMONTE JORDAN: I despise him, he’s a clown and I can’t believe he lowered his standards to date a hoodlum, a failed businessman, and I understand not everything is about money but damn Keon, you couldn’t do better than that?
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: I’m trying to stay out of all that drama, I don't have a problem being around Keon without anything happening, when we hooked up he was single and next thing I know I turn around and he’s back in a relationship. I wouldn’t want anything toxic like that so I’m happy shit didn’t work out with us, I’m cool on being friends.
AMONTE JORDAN: Well now that you’re back and forth between NY and Philly, I think I should introduce you to the group soon, it would be nice to have some fresh faces instead of sour ones and please believe me we have a lot of sour apples in the group, plus who wouldn’t want to hang out with me or the crew, we’re huge on social media.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: I saw, I don’t know though because after watching how you niggas turned up during your season and the reunion, im thinning I should probably stay far away from y’all.
Trapp laughs as he looks down at his phone.
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: But anyway I need to head out of here, I got plans.
AMONTE JORDAN: Oh really?
NASIR "TRAPP" GRANT: Not that type of plan, I wish though. But it's strictly music, but we’ll talk soon.
Trapp gets up from the chair in front of Amonte’s desk and the two share a quick hug, Trapp turns and leaves the office while Amonte sits back down in his chair and finishes going over the schedule for the next couple of weeks and the scene fades to balck.

The scene opens up inside of Bergdorf Goodman store, Amonte is shown standing inside with his sister Leah and one of their close friends Christopher Mackey, the two walk around the store for a bit looking at different items, Amonte notices a pair of jeans on the rack priced at $848 and a shirt that was $300. He stands there for a second contemplating whether or not he should buy it or not.
CHIRSTOPHER MACKEY: I think the set is dope, I can see you rocking both pieces out somewhere.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Are you sure you don’t already have that in your closet? I swear you have more clothes than me.
AMONTE JORDAN: I don’t think so and if I do then I’ll just have two pairs.
Amonte shrugs as he takes the items and had them to the store clerk, she rings up both items and placed them with the rest of Amonte’s things.
STORE: Ok Sir your total is $3406.29.
Amonte pulls out 4 stacks in cash and places it on the counter, the clerk counts the money and finishes bagging up the items he purchased. She hands him his bags and the receipt and the three walk out of the store.
A’LEAH JORDAN:I said you were going to spend more than me.
AMONTE JORDAN: Girl you spent $3900 you were close enough.
CHRISTOPHER MACKEY: it’s costly to look and stay fresh boo, you know this already. But I was hoping Cadence would have come with us, I’ve only gotten to meet him twice.
AMONTE JORDAN: He was busy.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Busy doing what? The man has no job, and if he would have come you probably would have spent more than what you did. He’s a pathetic excuse of a boyfriend and I don’t understand till this day what you see in him.
CHRISTOPHER MACKEY: Oh you didn’t tell me he was broke broke.
AMONTE JORDAN: He’s not, Leah is over exaggerating! In the beginning yes I will admit that Cadence was struggling financially but since the show he’s really come up.
A’LEAH JORDAN:I’m surprised he didn’t blow the whole thing on cocaine, I’ve heard it can be pricey.
CHRISTOPHER MACKEY: Oh Amonte you need to run, you never told me any of this.
AMONTE JORDAN: Ugh, I just wish you keep your mouth closed sometimes Leah.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Sorry bro, the truth hurts sometimes.
My sister's distaste for Cadence was really starting to bother me now, I get her frustration with some of his past actions but the man is honestly trying to change. The only thing that really bothered me now about Cadence is the fact that he continues to befriend dumb and dumber and to me that wasn’t cool.
Everyday those two find a way to jump in my mentions to start some drama, they’re so obsessed with me and my life that they think whatever tweet I post is about them. But clearly my life doesn’t operate that way, I didn’t really look at my castmates as friends, the only real friend I had on the show was Keon and right now our friendship was a mess.
We just started filming season 2 of #theLIFENY 🌃 and I’m supposed to meet up with Keon later for a what the producers are calling a explosive sit down. I know production wants the drama and doesn’t want to see us make up but I really want to fix things with my friend. Keon wasn’t only my best friend but he was my brother, he’s family.
This whole situation is a mess.
While walking down the sidewalk, Amonte stops and looks at Leah, you can tell by the look on his face he was annoyed at this point.
AMONTE JORDAN: Look at some point you and Cadence are going to have to sit down and talk everything out because I really see myself being with this man and if he’s going to be apart of my life then I need for you two get over whatever issue you have with each other and act like future brother and sister in laws.
Leah rolls her eyes sucking her teeth.
A’LEAH JORDAN:Well hopefully he takes a bath before I sit down with him, I think all that hanging around Zuma is fucking with his hygiene. Zuma is dirty and Cadence is a follower and I think neither one of them bathe consistently so yea just make sure he’s freshly clean before coming anywhere around me.
AMONTE JORDAN: Damn I thought I was the only one that noticed Zuma had an odor to him.
Amonte chuckles
CHRISTOPHER MACKEY: Oh no boo, I can’t be hanging around people that don’t take baths, if they don’t bathe that means they carry roaches and all other creatures, mope. No ma’am.
AMONTE JORDAN: I’m dead. I can’t with y’all right now, anyway let’s hit this little pizza shop for a snack and then I have to go meet Keon in a bit.
A’LEAH JORDAN:I really hope you two get back on a good page, I had to see you two at odds but Keon has to wake up, his boyfriend is trash and he shouldn’t be choosing him over you.
CHRISTOPHER MACKEY: He just lost that’s all.
AMONTE JORDAN: Well we’ll see what happens.
The three start walking again as the scene fades to black.
CHIRSTOPHER MACKEY: I think the set is dope, I can see you rocking both pieces out somewhere.

I’ve been kind of scared to sit down with Keon, I really don’t know where his mind is at right now and the last time we saw each other it was pretty. What I do know is today we’re filming for the second season and I hate that we had to wait to have this conversation on camera when I prefer to have it off.
But whatever, I’ll do whatever I need to do to make this right, I know I come off as bad ass with this nonchalant attitude but Keon is someone I really do care about, I just want this day to go right and I hope production doesn’t try and fuck this up for me with their shady editing and stuff.
The scene opens up with Amonte walking into Patsy’s Pizza, he looks around trying to find Keon but everyone looks the same wearing the masks. Amonte notices Keon sitting towards the back at a table away from the rest of the restaurant. Amonte lets out a deep sigh and starts walking towards Keon, Amonte reaches the table and joins Keon.
PRODUCER: How are you feeling at this moment?
Amonte pauses.
AMONTE JORDAN: Nervous! But this needs to be done, we were friends, no I take that back, we are friends. We’re just going through a little rough patch right now and it needs to be fixed.
The scene cuts from Amonte’s confessional and switches back to the sit down with Amonte and Keon.
AMONTE JORDAN: Ugh, I hate how this feels. Normally when we link up everything is fun and laughs but now I feel like I don't even know you.
KEON CAMP: I can say the same thing, you’ve done a lot of fucked up shit Amonte and it needs to be addressed now.
Amonte nods his head in agreement and the scene cuts to black.
To be continued on season 2 of #theLIFENY 🌃
