JADA MONTANA: It’s been a while since you guys seen me, but if you’ve been listening to the word on the street then you know that we are back baby.
Jada smiles.
JADA MONTANA: And better than ever! As everyone knows life as we know has been crazy these last few months, with CoVid-19 and the whack job we have in office, I’m just hoping 2021 is different. I’m still living in Tampa, so no I haven’t given in and moved to LA yet, I don’t mind the plane ride.
PRODUCER: Why don’t you want to move to LA? It would make sense since most of your work is there.
JADA MONTANA: It would make sense but I love my peace and quiet, the thing about home is that everyone knows I’m a star but they still treat me like Jada.
Jada winks at the camera and the scene cuts to Jada arriving at her new home she just purchased, she stands on the outside admiring her new home, she turns to her real estate agent Tori Banks and gives her a huge hug.
JADA MONTANA: I’m fucking tripping, this doesn’t even feel real. I finally got the place I wanted!
TORI BANKS: I know Jada, you’ve been talking about this place for months and honestly I’m surprised it lasted on the market as long as it did but the fact that you were able to buy it means this house was made for you.
JADA MONTANA: I can’t wait to move in and furnish the place, but there’s a few things I want to do.
TORI BANKS: Well once we close and everything is finalized it’s yours.
JADA MONTANA: Thank you for everything Tori, I appreciate it.
TORI BANKS: We’ve been friends since High School, you’ve been there for me through a lot of things so I just wanted to show my gratitude.
A knock is heard at the door, Tori turns and walks toward the front door and opens it, standing on the other end is Braelyn Monroe, not necessarily a new friend to Jada but someone she’s become very close with. Braelyn walks in looking around admiring the house!
BRAELYN MONROE: Hey World! It’s your girl Braelyn Monroe, been a minute since I’ve graced your screen but ya girl is back. Jada reached out to me and asked me to meet here at this house she was purchasing and baby she did real good on picking this house, it’s amazing, real cute for her. Since CoVid Jada and I somehow became really close, and it’s not that it’s a bad thing but who would have thought? Everyone knows her best friends Alex and Rayne, they were the main trio, it’s like you wouldn’t see one without the other, I’m not saying they’re having issues but who knows what’s going on.
The scene cuts back to Braelyn meeting up with Jada in the kitchen, Tori waves at everyone excusing herself from the kitchen leaving Braelyn and Jada alone.
BRAELYN MONROE: JADA! Oh my GOD I love your place!
JADA MONTANA: Thank you, I love it too. I was so scared that I was going to lose this place but I wanted to make sure my money was right.
BRAELYN MONROE: I don’t blame you, I think you made the best decision. But show me around girl, I want to see everything.
Jada and Braelyn walk around the 2200sq ft home, Jada shows her the living room first and then the dining room, the two walk up the long stairwell and head towards the master bedroom.
BRAELYN MONROE: I am jealous, Tampa is so pretty and this home makes it better.
JADA MONTANA: Thank you.
JADA MONTANA: These last few weeks Braelyn and I have really bonded and it’s crazy to me, because normally Alex and I were always together, but since her marriage, she’s just been distant.
PRODUCER: Do you think everything is ok with her and the husband?
JADA MONTANA: I don’t know, it’s none of my business.
The scene cuts back to Braelyn and Jada.
BRAELYN MONROE: Are you planning on throwing a house party?
JADA MONTANA: I want to, the agent said it should only be a few more days before everything is finalized, I already have furniture in storage but I plan on getting some new stuff too, I at least want some furniture in here before I start inviting people over, I don’t want people thinking I don’t have furniture.
Jada chuckles.
BRAELYN MONROE: The house speaks for itself, you could just have a couch and a bed in here and this place would still be the shit.
Braelyn pauses as she continues admiring Jada's new home. The two walk outside to the backyard and they both sit on the patio couches that were sitting outside.
BRAELYN MONROE: I swear this is beautiful Jada, but anyway who do you plan on inviting? Have you talked to anyone else amongst the group ?
JADA MONTANA: Not really, I talk to Mia and Sky a lot but mostly through text and where Jeremiah comes to Florida he always stops by and sees me. But speaking of Jeremiah, how are you two doing? Didn’t you guys have like a little issue with each other?
BRAELYN MONROE: No, he had an issue with me but I never had a problem with him, I think he got mad when Chase and I started dating.
JADA MONTANA: I don’t understand why that would bother him if he wasn’t under the impression that you guys were dating, I mean I know you two hung out a few times but I didn't think it was anything serious.
BRAELYN MONROE: Well that’s the thing it wasn’t on my end, I don’t know about on his.
PRODUCER: But you and Jeremiah were dating at one point.
BRAELYN MONROE: No, we were just hanging out, there is a difference. Look it’s nothing against him but he has a lot going on in his personal life which is why we could never make it an official, that doesn’t mean I don’t care about the guy, we built a friendship and if anything I want to be that to him.
The scene cuts back to the two.
JADA MONTANA: Well if he comes to the housewarming will you guys be ok, I don’t want any issues with him and you or Chase.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’m good, like I said I have always been his friend even after the mean things he said on Twitter, I can be in the same space and not cause a problem, I think you should have this conversation with him because he’s so unpredictable at times.
JADA MONTANA: Well I would hope Jeremiah wouldn’t disrespect me like that, but I just want us to all have fun that’s all.
BRAELYN MONROE: Touché
The two continue talking as the scene fades and reopens inside of Banner Studios, A studio that Yeshua set up for himself to help run some of his businesses including his sneaker line and his studio where he creates beats. The scene cuts to one part of the building where Yeshua is shown sitting with his business partner slash brother Jeremy Banner.
YESHUA BANNER: Man it feels good to be back on TV, even though life hasn’t gone back to normal, it’s cool that I’m able to get back to what I love to do and that’s make music and create designs that people will love. During this whole pandemic, I’ve been laying low and focusing on my personal life. A lot of people may not know and if they do know they may have forgot since it’s been a minute but yea a nigga still engaged.
Yeshua shows a black diamond ring on his finger..
YESHUA BANNER: This shit feels weird, but if this is what I have to do to prove I want this engagement then so be it. My brother is with me today trying to help me come up with some new designs for some sneakers I want to create, he’s normally good with coming up with logos and shit so I figured I let him help with this next release.
The scene cuts back to the two, Yeshua pulls out a piece of paper with a design that reads BLM with a fist on the side. Jeremy looks at the paper trying to imagine what the shoe would look like in his head.
JEREMY BANNER: I like the idea, I think the font should be different but shit I fucks with it.
YESHUA BANNER: Yea I was thinking maybe do like a special edition and sell a few pairs and then stop, kind of make it like a promotional type thing.
JEREMY BANNER: That’s not a bad idea but I think once they sell out which I’m sure they will, the demand will be high.
YESHUA BANNER: I fucking love having my own business bro, this shit is the best!
JEREMY BANNER: Being your own boss and having income coming in daily, who wouldn’t want that shit? Only a fool would turn down an opportunity like this, once we get more buyers and the word is out, shit we can expand and go GLOBAL my nigga.
Jeremy and Yeshua both dap each other up in excitement.
YESHUA BANNER: That’s the plan.
JEREMY BANNER: But what’s going on with this engagement bro? I didn’t think you were serious, you know mom is not too happy about it.
YESHUA BANNER: My mom Is my rock, she raised me most of my life before sending me off to live with my father for a little but she is still my favorite person in the world. But we haven’t really talked since my outing on the show #theLIFE. She was disappointed that I didn’t give her the heads up but I didn’t know how to tell her. She hasn’t met Richie Rich and for the longest time she wasn’t returning my phone calls, so I stopped calling. The only time I ever find out anything about my mother is through my brother, as for my pops.
Yeshua shrugs.
YESHUA BANNER: Well that’s another story.
The scene cuts back to the two.
YESHUA BANNER: I don’t know what you want to say bro, this shit been fucking with me since childhood and even when you walked in on me, you never said nothing. I get this may not be your normal lifestyle or the lifestyle y’all wanted for me, but this is what I’m going to do, and this is who I am.
JEREMY BANNER: I mean I ain’t judging, I just hate you and mom not really talking, I think y’all need to sit down and have a conversation.
YESHUA BANNER: I already know what she’s going to say, she’s going to ask me “Why are you bisexual? Why can’t you just choose one and be straight?” Those are the exact words that will come out of her mouth.
JEREMY BANNER: Well at least you’re still fucking females, for awhile now I thought you were fully gay until I found out y’all be inviting chicks in ya relationship.
PRODUCER: So do you and Richie Rich have an open relationship?
Yeshua sits there with a smirk on his face as he takes a second to answer.
YESHUA BANNER: He lets me be me, we got trust and love that’s all that matters.
The scene cuts back to the two.
YESHUA BANNER: Yea cuz my nigga like to have fun, shit we young why not.
JEREMY BANNER: I guess bro, but still talk to mom.
YESHUA BANNER: She must have said something to you, because this is the first time you’ve pressured me like this to have a conversation with her, if she wants to sit down and talk to me then she has my number, she still has a key to my place so she has many ways to contact me.
JEREMY BANNER: Be the bigger person bro.
YESHUA BANNER: Man you trippin right now.
JEREMY BANNER: Can you just think about it at least?
Yeshua rolls his eyes as he snatches the paper out of his brother's hand, he walks over to the chair in the corner and he plops down in the seat placing his hand on his forehead.
YESHUA BANNER: Look I’ll shoot her a text to meet for dinner later, now will you leave me alone about the shit?
JEREMY BANNER: Damn bro that’s all I wanted to hear.
YESHUA BANNER: Yea whatever!
The scene fades and reopens outside of Style and Society Magazine Headquarters. Sky Townsend is shown standing outside taking a little break from the photo shoot she has with the magazine.
SKY TOWNSEND: I’ve been a very busy girl since the last time you saw me, I’ve walked international runways, posed for every magazine you can think of and even made a few appearances on a couple tv shows, so I can’t complain. Today is just another day and another shoot on my plate, I’m having a photo shoot with Style and Society Magazine and they want to do an article/interview on my come up in the fashion world, so you know I couldn’t turn that down.
Sky smiles.
SKY TOWNSEND: Jeremiah was on the side of town and he hit me up asking if he could drop by, I haven’t seen him in months so it would be nice to catch up.
The scene cuts back to Sky still standing outside, she turns to her left and notices Jeremiah walking down the sidewalk heading her direction, she smiles and meets him halfway greeting him with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
SKY TOWNSEND: Damn Jeremiah, I feel like it’s been so long.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: It has.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Yo it’s ya boy Jeremiah finally back on y’all’s tv screens gracing you with my presence, I know you all missed me.
Jeremiah winks at the camera.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’ve been staying low, keeping shit private because for awhile my life was always the topic of conversation, so I decided to step back away from social media and focus on me and my life. So far shit has been on the rise for me, back in the modeling game and I own a couple businesses so life has been great.
PRODUCER: How has the pandemic affected you?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I don’t know if it’s really affected me, everyone has their struggles but I found a way to get by, I will say during this pandemic it made me realize who my true friends were and who wasn’t.
The scene cuts back to the two outside.
SKY TOWNSEND: You look great, I wish we could have kept in contact but you changed your number and deleted your social media so there was no way for me to contact you.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I needed a break from life, society just wasn’t working for me and it seemed like no one else had time for me, so I ghosted everyone.
SKY TOWNSEND: I felt bad about the part I played, but my career was picking up and I didn’t want to turn down the blessings that were happening in my life.
SKY TOWNSEND: I understand why Jeremiah would be upset, but when we started filming the first season it was difficult for us all, people were having contract issues while others were throwing fits about who would be in certain scenes so that kind of caused a rift between a lot of people and also put the show on hold. But baby I still needed to survive, so any job I could get I would take and that’s how I got my name out there and got work! He should be happy for me at least.
The scene cuts back to the two.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I wouldn’t want you to turn down a check, I wasn’t really mad at anyone, I was more disappointed but I let it go and moved on. I’m happy that you are accomplishing your goals and living out your dreams, that’s the best feeling ever.
SKY TOWNSEND: It is and I’m so happy. But what about you? I see your back on social media, what’s been going on in your world?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Once I took a break from the world I started to focus on things that would make me happy, I did a couple store and magazine print ads, I also went 50/50 with Brandon on this dispensary we are opening in LA.
SKY TOWNSEND: Oh wow.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Yea that’s right, ya boy is getting into the weed business, shit I smoke it, why not make a profit off of it and legally.
Jeremiah laughs as the scene cuts back to the two.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Yup! That should be opened real soon.
SKY TOWNSEND: I’m excited for you, are you planning on throwing a party or something?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: That’s the plan, but honestly the way I cut everybody loose I don’t know who would show up and who wouldn’t. I haven’t talked to anyone and I’m sure people are going to have some issues with me.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I honestly don’t care, the only people I really care about fixing my friendships with are Alex and Jada, the rest can kick rocks.
PRODUCER: What about Braelyn, or Rayne?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I’ve always been cool with Rayne, she’s really the only person that kept in contact with me during the whole pandemic and even when I distanced myself from the group the first time and as for Braelyn, she decided to stick with the Opps and I don’t have room for that.
The scene cuts back the two.
SKY TOWNSEND: The only thing you can do is invite everyone and whoever shows up will prove to you who really cares and values your friendship. But if there’s still time before the party then maybe you should reach out to everyone and see where they’re heads are at.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Maybe, I’ve been enjoying this peace so I don’t know if I want to ruin that with any negativity.
SKY TOWNSEND: Just know I’ve always been a friend, and I’ll be there to support you.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Thank you.
SKY TOWNSEND: I know Jeremiah can be unpredictable and sometimes an asshole but he really is a good guy, or he tries to be. Anyone who really knows him and his personality knows he doesn’t mean any harm so hopefully everyone goes easy on him.
The scene cuts back to the two still talking, the photographer comes out and motions for Sky to return to the set, she turns and kisses Jeremiah on the cheek and the two go their separate ways. The scene fades and reopens on the inside of one of the executive conference rooms at the Beverly Hills Executive Suites. Cameras show a crew of people sitting around a large round table holding conversations amongst themselves. Shortly after, cameras pan to the hallway showing a woman walking toward the conference rooms. The view is only of her legs. By the time she reaches the conference room cameras now show the back of her head. She opens the door and pops in and is finally revealed to be Model, Alex J.
ALEX J: Hi guys!
She smiles as she enters the room to greet her staff.
ALEX J: Sorry, I’m a little late.
She walks to the center front chair and takes a seat.
ALEX J: Here we go again.
She chuckles as the scene switches to a video package of Alex walking in New York Fashion Week as well as clips from other shows. Then images of multiple magazine covers appear on the screen, ending in her latest Vogue Japan cover.
ALEX J: It has been a busy year for AJ as you can probably tell. I have been getting back to what I love! After a bit of a hiatus from the industry I had to come back strong. I think I was so busy being a wife, I kinda lost sight of all my goals. Anybody that has known me for a while knows that my career was always first. I had goals I wanted to be the best. I wanted to take over the industry. And then when I did. I wanted to stay at the top. But being with Eli i had to realize that as much as he told me he was okay with me being all about work, eventually he would get tired of me never being home, never wanting kids. I knew it would be tough. But he was worth it.
She pauses, running her fingers through her hair.
ALEX J: Or I wanted him to be…
She sighs.
ALEX J: I think we both have been feeling like we have been forcing ourselves to be this perfect couple, when in reality, we just weren’t. We’re both in very different places in our lives.
She pauses, shaking her head.
ALEX J: I’m 27 and it looks like divorce is about to be on my resume. That’s definitely not where I saw my life. But. I don't know man. I guess that’s the cookie.
She sighs as the scene returns to the conference suite. Alex is shown seated at the head of the table.
ALEX J: So. I wanna thank you all for gathering with me today! I know it's been madness trying to coordinate schedules getting us all in the same room. But it's game time baby! And i need my team to know before anyone else, that i’m officially launching #AJACKMAN. It's gonna be my first go at mens clothing and I have to do a pop up shop.
As the group starts discussing business the scene fades to a confessional
ALEX J: Yessir! When i said i was jumping back head first into the industry, i was serious. Yall know i’ve done it all. But fashion has always been my first love. And I plan to conquer every bit of that industry. #AJACKCITY has been doing really well. I’m actually in the process of opening a storefront when I find the location that speaks to me. But I’ve been really wanting to jump into menswear. I wanted a brother to my brand. Thought it would be a fun project to keep me busy with everything going on in my life. Am i doing too much? Probably.
She chuckles.
ALEX J: But that’s always been me. I’ve missed this feeling! And from the looks of my team. So have they. I cannot wait to show you guys what i’ve been working on!
SHe smiles widely as the scene returns to the group. As they are talking there is a knock on the window. Alex looks over and sees jeremiah. She smiles as she gets up to go open the door.
ALEX J: Excuse me for a second yall.
She walks over and out of the conference room, closing the door behind her. She jumps in his arms wrapping her legs around him.
ALEX J: You came! What’s up Ugly?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Someone’s happy I see
JEREMIAH CONFESSIONAL
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: It was nice to see Alex, we haven’t been around each other in a long time, even though we’ve had our ups and downs, she will always be a good friend to me.
The scene cuts back to the two
ALEX J: I fucking missed you man:
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I miss you too, well sometimes I did but your shady ass have been distant from me and everyone else in the group.
ALEX J: If you know me and Jeremiah yall wouldnt be surprised to see that we are friends again. But i know yall are tired of our shit.
She chuckles as the scene returns to the two.
ALEX J: I know. I know. I thought I was being a good wife. I was doing everything wrong. But you know I always have love for you, and everybody. Speaking of, I know you’ve been hanging out with everyone more than me. How’s everyone been?
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I haven’t really, I kind of been on my loner shit these last few months and with this covid shit I wasn’t trying to catch it so I’ve been laying low. I do talk to Jada and Yeshua every once in a while but that’s really it.
Jeremiah shrugs.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Braelyn and I use to be cool, we had our little fling but ever since she got serious with ole’ boy she hasn’t been in my DM’s, which is cool, I respect the fact she’s in a relationship but the question is does she really love dude?
ALEX J: Eh. You know me and her were never the best pals so I wouldn’t know. But if she is, that's awesome.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: I mean it doesn’t matter, I’m over that whole situation. If she wants to remain cordial and friends then I’m cool with that, I still don’t fuck with her dude though and sicne we on the topic of the lame, I saw that you two were getting comfortable a while back, whats up with that?
ALEX J: I definitely wouldn’t say comfortable. Don't say that.
She chuckles
ALEX J: But we have never had any issues. He’s been cool and we did do some work together.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Look I’m not telling you who you can and can’t be friends with, but watch your surroundings that’s all I’ll say about that.
ALEX J: I hear you man. I'm not saying we’re best friends. I doubt we would even be around each other much. Me and Braelyn still haven’t talked. So I don't really know where she and I stand to be honest.
ALEX J: I’ve always made it abundantly clear that AJ has never had any issues with that girl. To be honest I feel like the only “issue” we’ve ever really had was jeremiah. He and I had what we had, and they had what they had. But when they had what they had I was nowhere near in the picture. I moved on and so did he. We respected each other's relationships, But I don't think she believed that. Maybe one day, we’ll sit down and talk. It's so old. I’ve moved past it. Maybe she has to.
The scene fades back to the two.
ALEX J: I think we should all get together. Don’t you think it's been long enough.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Uhhh, I guess a linkup wouldn’t hurt, but I can’t promise you me and ole’ boy won’t get into it, he may still be butthurt from the shit that happened months ago.
Jeremiah shrugs.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Our group chat has been crickets, maybe we should get that chat cracking again and plan something, the easiest way to contact everyone. But what about you and Sky? Are y’all cool?
ALEX J: I wouldn't call us besties or anything like that. But it's been over a year. I've let things go. And so has she unless you know something I don't. So I think it'll be fun.
ALEX J: Going through divorce at such a young age has kinda made me realize how small my issues were with these people. So much heavier shit is going on in all our lives so I think maybe it would be good to finally be friends and support each other. So I think I'll set up a little something to get everyone together. It's been time.
The scene fades back to the two.
ALEX J: Just be open minded going in. You know how you can be.
JEREMIAH KINGSTON: Yeah I can’t make any promises, if someone tries me then you know I’ll have to react, but either way I’m excited about us all getting together again at some point.
Alex jumps up and down excitedly.
ALEX J: Yay! Don't be a sourpuss. You know its always a celebration when we link up. Just leave it to me!
ALEX J: I gotta kinda take responsibility for a big part of why the qe haven't all got together. When I got married I disappeared. But I didn't think that would tear everyone apart. So bringing them together should be awesome. This is crew love right? Where's the love?
Alex smiles as the scene returns to the two.
ALEX J: I'm glad you stopped by bookie. But I definitely have to get back into this meeting. I dont wanna have these people here all night.
The two hug and wrap up their conversation as the scene fades and reopens into a confessional. From out of nowhere Chase jumped out in front of the camera. He smiled and gave a wink before sitting down.
PRODUCER: Really Chase?
CHASE STEVENS: All about the entrance….all about the entrance.
Chase smiled wide and gave the camera another wink. He clapped his hands and leaned forward.
CHASE STEVENS: What up Crew. I know it's been a minute since we showed up on your screens. Please believe me, if it was our choice this would have happened a long time ago. I got good news and bad news. Things are great with Braelyn and I. *His head nods* Really great, I wouldn’t pass that woman up for anything. My Club started, had a few weeks of being the hottest place to be. Then the bad happened….Covid.
Chase stopped speaking and shook his head.
CHASE STEVENS: Damn!
The scene cuts as Chase walked outside his club talking through his mask.
CHASE STEVENS: I got all the paperwork for the State filled out. Once it's approved I can open up, but it'll only be at about 20-30%
He paced back and forth nodding his head.
CHASE STEVENS: Right, that's better than nothing.
CHASE STEVENS: Don't get me wrong, I know we're in the middle of a pandemic. Some people want me to open Illusions even if it's in a low capacity. But I think preserving lives is more important. And this is coming from the guy that will lose more money.
Chase let out a sigh and shrugged his shoulders.
The scene cuts back to him as he hangs up the phone and slid it into his pocket.
CHASE STEVENS: Well I got two choices. I open a club during a pandemic or I just bite the bullet and lose money. I'll have to talk to Braelyn about it.
MALE VOICE: Even though you already know what she'll say.
The camera panned around to Parker Dunbar, a friend of Chase.
CHASE STEVENS: That's my boy Parker. I met him during a Vogue campaign in Italy a few years back. Been like family since. He was originally in the city for a photoshoot and got stuck during lock down.
The cuts back outside the cub as Parker gets into the car and Chase takes a second taking it all in. This was a major setback that he just had to come to terms with.
CHASE STEVENS: It's hard… having to understand that something you worked so hard for and be gone like that…
He snapped his fingers in the camera and looked away for a second. It was a heavy blow but Chase still took in a deep and looked back to the Crew Love cameras.
CHASE STEVENS: Still, I know I got it in me to come back. I got the support I need and that's all I need.
The camera cuts back to Chase and Parker.
Parker: Aight well let's go back to your place and get a damn drink.
CHASE STEVENS: That’s all you do isn't it?
The two laughed as they walked to Chase's car. Naturally it was hard for him to leave his investment in the manner it was, but it wouldn't be like that for long.
Letting out a low sign Chase stepped into his black BMW and pulled off.
