FLASH BACK UBER INCIDENT
The scene opens up with Amonte and Cadence standing outside of Amaya’s brand new apartment located in the upper east side of NY. The two are shown arguing back and forth over a text message that was sent to Cadence.
AMONTE JORDAN: I saw the text Cadence, I’m not dumb.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: What the fuck are you talking about? That text doesn’t mean shit.
AMONTE JORDAN: Ok Cadence, get your own Uber because I don’t want you riding back to the house with me and when you get your shit will be packed and outside on the porch.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Don’t play with me yo.
AMONTE JORDAN: I’m not playing.
Cadence pulls his phone out but before he could do anything Amonte smacks the phone out of Cadence's hand forcing the phone to hit the concrete.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Yo you are really trippin right now.
The Uber driver pulls up and Amonte quickly hops in the backseat asking the driver to pull off, Cadence grabs his phone and jumps in the backseat also. The driver drives off heading towards the beltway while both Cadence and Amonte continue arguing in the back.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I don’t want to talk about it anymore bruh, we are in this dudes car and I don’t need him knowing my business.
AMONTE JORDAN: People can look at you and figure out your business, you give me crack head vibes all day.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Watch your mouth Monte, i'm not playing with you.
AMONTE JORDAN: You told me you were going to stop fucking around on me Cadence, you promised that would stop the drugs, so why are these bitches and your connect still contacting you?
CADENCE WASHINGTON: I don’t have anything to say, leave the shit alone and let’s talk when we get back to the crib.
AMONTE JORDAN: I want you gone, that’s it. I don’t want to talk about it anymore!
CADENCE WASHINGTON: So let’s move the fuck on then, I don’t want to talk about at all. I’m with you, that's all that matters!
Cadence phones rings and it immediately sets Amonte off, Amonte reaches for Cadence phone but Cadence snatches his hand back causing Amonte to almost fall into his lap. The Uber driver stares in the rear view mirror shaking his head in disgust but also finding it amusing that two grown men are fighting in his backseat.
CADENCE WASHINGTON: Chill the fuck out!
Amonte finally grabs Cadence's phone and answers it, he says “hello” a couple times before being hung up on. Amonte by this time is infuriated and tosses Cadence’s galaxy out the window.
AMONTE JORDAN: FUCK YOU AND THAT PHONE!
Cadence lunges on Amonte in the backseat causing the two to fight, the Uber driver pulls the car over and turns around yelling for the two to stop, both Amonte and Cadence ignores the Uber drivers screams and the two continue going back and forth exchanging blows, nut grabs, and biting. Finally Cadence backs off of Amonte and opens the back door, he grabs his things from inside the car and slams the door walking in the direction of where his phone was dropped. Amonte slides in the seat apologizing repeatedly to the driver and asking him to drive.
UBER DRIVER:I think I should call the police, I don’t think I can finish this ride sir.
AMONTE JORDAN: Just please take me home, I’ll pay extra if I have too, I need to get away from him.
UBER DRIVER:Sir-
AMONTE JORDAN: Just please sir!
The driver pulls off and continues driving, he glances in the rearview and notices Amonte fixing his hair, his shirt and also wiping the tears from his face.
UBER DRIVER:Are you okay? Do you want to go to a hospital?
AMONTE JORDAN: I’m fine. I’m done!
UBER DRIVER: I don’t mean to pry, but if this is something that happens constantly then you probably should be done.
Amonte leans his head back and closes his eyes, reliving what just happened in his mind, he continues to hurt.

The sounds of Tink blast through the speakers throughout Amonte’s plush Jersey home. Amonte is shown pacing back and forth in the living room. He notices some of Cadence’s things sitting on the couch, some shoes and a few items of clothes. Amonte grabs the stuff and rushes through the back door. Amonte tosses them on the ground, he grabs the lighter fluid off the grill and sets Cadence’s stuff on fire. Amonte stood there with tears in both eyes watching the fire grow and the things burn.
AMONTE JORDAN: Fucking clown.
A’Leah who is shown walking past the window upstairs, she notices the smoke and flames rising from the blaze, A’Leah turns and rushes down the stairs almost tripping, she catches her balance and jumps off the last stairs and runs out the backdoor where she stands face to face with her brother Amonte who looks like he’s seen a ghost, she screams his name a couple times before finally getting his attention.
AMONTE JORDAN: WHAT?!
A’LEAH JORDAN: What the hell is wrong with you? ARE YOU TRYING TO BURN THE HOUSE DOWN?
AMONTE JORDAN: So, I have insurance.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Sir,, having insurance doesn't mean anything, why ruin such a beautiful home over a dude I told you wasn’t good enough anyway, plus when the insurance finds out that you set the house on fire yourself not only will you face insurance fraud, you’ll probably go to jail.
AMONTE JORDAN: I don’t care, that's what having money and lawyers are for.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I guess it's a good thing that it's outside in the yard and not in the bathroom, we don’t need another Lefteye moment, rest her soul.
AMONTE JORDAN: I’m just over this shit.
Amonte stands there staring at the fire, images rush through his mind of the last few moments he had with Cadence, with more bad than good Amonte decided to finally walk away from the relationship that he put so much time, money and love into. A’Leah is shown grabbing the hose from the side of the house and spraying the flames burning the fire out, the two stand there and watch the smoke rise into the sky.
A’LEAH JORDAN:: It’s probably good that the relationship ended bro, it wasn’t healthy at all and you were always sad.
AMONTE JORDAN: I’m sad now.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Well give it time.
The two turn and head back into the house, Amonte walks over to the living room and sits down on the couch, he places his feet up on the coffee table and relaxes his bones and muscles letting out a huge sigh of relief. A’Leah joins him on the couch next to him with a glass of wine.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Do you want some?
AMONTE JORDAN: I don’t know if alcohol can numb this pain right now, part of me feels good to finally walk away from this relationship while the other part misses him dearly, I’m so freaking confused right now.
A’LEAH JORDAN: What's the word on his contract with the show and MIL?
AMONTE JORDAN: To be honest they gave him an ultimatum, it was either rehab or he would lose his spot on the show and he didn’t care, I think that was the last straw but after the uber incident, I was just done completely.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I honestly wish I would have been in that uber with y’all, I would have been on that ass. But I knew he wasn’t good for you, he had too many demons. I would have left after he stole from you, and for drugs.
A’Leah shakes her head.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I still think you should press charges, didn’t the driver say he would testify if you needed him too, I would take his ass to court and take that little coin away from you, put him back in the streets where he belongs.
AMONTE JORDAN: That’s harsh, I don’t want to destroy him like how he’s destroyed me. I really don’t know what I want.
Amonte looks down at his phone and notices a notification from his ring camera, he smiles a little as he watches Nasir aka Trapp make his way towards the front door. Amonte gets up from the couch and walks to the front door, he opens the door and quickly embraces Trapp who has a bag with some bottles inside and of course some smoke. Trapp walks in and says “wassup” to A’Leah who is still sitting on the couch.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Oh I didn’t know we were having company, not after the episode Amonte just put on.
AMONTE JORDAN: You know I’m an emotional wreck at times.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I told that nigga to stop trippin over that shit, he got the calm he needed when he hit my phone.
AMONTE JORDAN: Thank you for stopping by.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I got you.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m confused though, when did you two get so close? I need to know all the details.
Leah reaches for the drink that Trapp is handing her, Trapp chuckles as he sits down on the couch beside Amonte who flirtatiously places his leg over top of Trapp’s.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Amonte the homie, we’ve been chilling here and there for a few weeks now.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I knew nothing about this.
AMONTE JORDAN: It wasn’t your business to know sis, damn.
Amonte giggles as he takes a shot.
AMONTE JORDAN: I know I was trippin earlier, but I was listening to some music and I got caught up in my feelings and that whole uber incident just messed me up. I can’t believe he really tried to beat on me like that inside of a strangers car, I was so embarrassed.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m always afraid for you when you get into these relationships, I’m not judging because everyone has had their breaking points but I was more concerned about your safety.
AMONTE JORDAN: I think I spazzed out after he text me today and he refused to come get his stuff unless he could stay with me so I think that’s what made me want to burn his shit, if you don’t want to come get it then I’ll dispose of it myself and I’m going to do it in a shady ass way.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: You crazy bruh!
AMONTE JORDAN: I have some crazy in me, he just pushed me to that point.
A’LEAH JORDAN: But it’s crazy how the whole mood and vibe changed once Nasir walked in the door, bro you are really bi polar I swear, you don’t need a medical diagnosis to figure that shit out.
Amonte blushes.
A’LEAH JORDAN: But did you tell Key? I know he’s with Zuma which till this day I think he needs to leave him alone but that’s none of my business but don’t you think he’ll be upset that you two are getting close.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: You just said it, he got a nigga.
AMONTE JORDAN: Nasir is here as a friend, he’s been good to me these last couple of weeks and I’ve really enjoyed his company. I’ll talk to Key but there’s nothing he would get mad about, we’re just friends.
Amonte gives off a smirk as Trapp starts caressing his leg.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Yeah whatever! You're always so secretive about shit, just tell me.
AMONTE JORDAN: I just did.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Whatever boy, I’m going to see what you have in the fridge because I’m starving.
Leah jumps up and walks toward the kitchen leaving Trapp and Amonte alone, Trapp reaches in his Gucci bag and pulls out a pre-rolled and lights it up. Trapp takes a couple hits and passes it to Amonte.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: You sure you good?
AMONTE JORDAN: Honestly I don’t know why I reacted that way earlier, part of me feels like I’m over the situation but the other parts feel so angry and hurt.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: It’s going to take time bruh.
AMONTE JORDAN: I appreciate you being here for me, that night when he fought me and you rushed right over made me feel good. Even though I hit u for some grass, you sat with me, smoked with me and you made me feel good.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: We all been through some shit homie, plus I’ve been watching you for a minute so I got the opportunity to kick it with you. I wasn’t going to miss out on that.
AMONTE JORDAN: I swear if people found out that we were hanging out, they wouldn’t be able to handle it, I’m already peoples topic of conversation, that’s why I don’t know if I want to bring you around these group of people I hang out with, a lot of them are messy as fuck.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Honestly I'm not trying to meet your friends especially if they’re on some childish shit, I’m cool with us kickin it. But I probably won’t have much time to entertain a lot go outside events besides my own, I got this mixtape coming out and a shoe line I’ve been working on for awhile now, when COVID hit that shit slowed me down a lot but now that shit is opening back up, I’m grinding harder now.
AMONTE JORDAN: I don’t blame you, I feel the same way, I was blessed that my business was able to survive during this pandemic but I know it’s been hard for everyone. I don’t expect you to be present at all times but with our friendship growing I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to spend more time around you. I’m so used to being in bad situations that when something good hits me I never know how to handle it.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: You have your reasons.
The two continue talking while enjoying their drinks and pre-rolled blunt, the scene cuts to A’Leah in the kitchen singing old songs, tipsy and cooking a whole meal.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Cause I’ll be a freak until the day, until dawn. And we can pump, pump all thru the night til the day.
Leah keeps singing while she throws together her meal, she turns around and finds Trapp standing there chuckling at her dancing and singing.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Don’t hate, that’s my song.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I’m not, just watching you enjoy your song. Ha!
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m happy you walked in here actually, I need to talk to you about something.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Like?
A’LEAH JORDAN: My brother and your intentions with him, I know you two were like associates but this sudden closeness has me thinking something else.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: You’re thinking too hard ma, we are cool. I like chillin with your brother but not on no heavy shit.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Hmmmm… I’m not saying it would be a problem if something was happening, but you know he just broke up with Cadence and I don’t think he should be rushing into anything else, those two were together a long time.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I’ve never met the dude, I just heard he was a real clown so it’s best Amonte got away from that nigga anyway. Leah you know I’m good people, I respect you looking out for your brother but trust me I got this.
A’LEAH JORDAN: We’ll i'm happy someone is trying to take his mind off the bullshit, I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to come over as much but after he told me what happened I had to make sure he was good. The last time we saw each other was the housewarming and we were filming that day, this pandemic really sucks.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I know, shit had me fucked up.
A’LEAH JORDAN: It’s good to have you around, I will admit that it seems like my brother is happier when you're around.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I just give off that energy, I can’t help it.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Cute, save that for some else.
A’Leah chuckles as she starts eating the food she just prepared for herself.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Damn! You hungry ma? Where mines at?
A’LEAH JORDAN: Better DoorDash something.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Damn Leah, that’s cold.
The two laugh as the scene fades.
