PRODUCER: What made you decide to let us in? It wasn’t too long ago you were against being on camera again and working with us.
The scene opens up with Brandon and his confessional interview, he looks into the camera with a huge smirk on his face.
BRANDON YOUNG: Because I’m not forced to work with people I don’t want to work with and it’s time. There’s so many stories going around about me so why not hear from someone who is actually living it, and that someone is ME!

Young - Andrews Mansion
December 2020
The scene opens up inside of the mansion Brandon and Drake share, Brandon is shown sitting on the couch, his face red and puffy from crying all morning. He watches Anna, the nanny get the kids ready for the day and he takes another sip of his wine.
BRANDON YOUNG: I only signed on to do this reality show because I thought I was finally going to let the world in on what was really happening with my husband and I. But little did I know I was going to be sitting here alone and confused as to why I’m contemplating divorce.
Brandon pauses.
BRANDON YOUNG: Oh I know why, my nigga can’t keep his dick in his pants and he thinks I’ll be ok with kids that we haven’t discussed or side bitches that can’t stay in their lane.
Brandon lets out a huge sigh, he’s finally reached his breaking point.
BRANDON YOUNG: I'm tired.
The scene cuts back to Brandon finishing off the glass of wine, it’s only 8 am in the morning and Brandon is already feeling his drink. The scene cuts to Drake arriving at the house, he pulls into the driveway and hops out the car, he notices the camera crew inside the house and he instantly gets annoyed. Drake walks in and heads straight for the living room not even acknowledging the camera crew or the nanny, he wells over to Brandon leaning in for a kiss but Brandon pushes him away.
DRAKE ANDREWS: What the fuck I do now yo?
BRANDON YOUNG: We acting stupid now?
DRAKE ANDREWS: Nah nigga, I’m not for the drama right now and you got these camera crew in my crib when I already told you I didn’t want these niggas in here.
BRANDON YOUNG: This is for my show and you know I was scheduled to film today, but thats beside the point, I peeped one of your extra phones and it looks like Keyshia is due in a couple weeks, funny she’s texting you about it because when I asked you if the kids in her stomach were yours, you looked me dead in my face and said “NO.”
Drake shakes his head.
DRAKE ANDREWS: I’m not doing this with you B, we can talk about this shit when these niggas leave.
BRANDON YOUNG: Or we can talk about it now, I’m tired of you fucking lying to me Drake, why the fuck did you marry me if you were going to continue fucking around on me.
DRAKE ANDREWS: I told you I wanted some more kids.
BRANDON YOUNG: And I said thats fine but we needed to discuss the options first, but here you go fucking your baby mother and I just feel so stupid.
DRAKE ANDREWS: You doing to much B, I already said I’m not talking about this shit in front of these cameras bruh, tell these niggas to leave.
BRANDON YOUNG: Is the fucking kids yours or not?
Drake stands there silent, he stares at Brandon with a piercing look in his eyes.
DRAKE ANDREWS: I told you yo, I’m not doing this right now.
BRANDON YOUNG: Fuck it, I want a DIVORCE.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Are you serious right now? You trying to embarrass me on camera or something nigga?
Drake starts to walk up on Brandon but security rushes in forcing their way between the two.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Oh you got security in this bitch, what do you think I’m going to hurt you?
BRANDON YOUNG: It wouldn’t be the first time you put your hands on me, I’m not doing this with you Drake, I want a FUCKING DIVORCE.
DRAKE ANDREWS: Do what you need to do, I’m tired of your drama nigga!
Drake turns and grabs his keys off the table.
BRANDON YOUNG: I want you out nigga!
DRAKE ANDREWS: This is my fucking crib too, I helped pay for this shit nigga, you trippin right now so I’m about to chill over my homie house until you cool down, because you talking crazy shit right now and you might say something you regret. Plus I told you I’m not talking about shit with these camera people around, the fuck is wrong with you?!
BRANDON YOUNG: Fuck you!
DRAKE ANDREWS: Nah fuck you.
Brandon charges through security rushing towards Drake, he leaps on his back almost knocking Drake to the floor and Brandon starts throwing hands at Drake. Drake grabs Brandon by the hair and flips him over his head forcing him through the glass table and to the ground.
DRAKE ANDREWS: I TOLD YOU NOT TO PLAY WITH ME NIGGA!
Drake leans down with his fist balled ready to throw hands at Brandon but security quickly grabs Drake forcing him to the group, it took about 6 security guards to control Drake but they were able to get him away from Brandon who is still lying in a pool of glass aching from the pain of the slam.
PRODUCER: I remember you saying you didn’t want the footage shown, why did you change your mind?
Brandon takes a second to answer, the questions being asked brings him back to an emotional place.
BRANDON YOUNG: Because I wanted people to see that domestic abuse is never okay, I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did but after everything I’ve put up with, it was hard for me not to react that way. It's never right to put your hands on someone you care about, or someone period. Just because it's a relationship between two men doesn’t make it right and I should have reacted in a different manner.
Brandon chokes up a bit, the tears begin to form and fall down his cheek hitting the ground below.
BRANDON YOUNG: I met Drake when I was 18 turning 19 and spent more than 5 years with this man, I never once expected for this relationship to come to an end. Not only did I lose my husband, but I lost my friend and my family. But either way I have to move on, I have to let it all go, I have to start fresh.
Brandon smiles as the scene cuts to present time.

Santa Monica, CA
Draya’s apartment

Draya’s apartment
April 2021
BRANDON YOUNG: I haven’t been staying at the Hidden Hills house for a couple weeks now because it just takes me to a painful place. I remember building that house and thinking that I was going to spend the rest of my life with Drake in that home but I guess the fairytale doesn’t end like that. I will say the one thing about this divorce was I kept it smart, I remember my parents advising me to do a prenup and honestly I’m happy I listened.
Brandon smirks.
BRANDON YOUNG: It's easier to split everything down the middle but Drake made this divorce easy and I’m surprised. We decided to sell the Hidden Hills home and just split the profits down the middle, he’s not asking me for anymore and I’m not asking him for any, I want to walk away from this marriage with a clean slate. That's another reason why i’ve been keeping my distance, the house is currently being packed up and I just needed to get away from there so my assistant Draya who was staying with me at the time of me and Drake’s relationship decided to move back into her home in Santa Monica and she was so sweet to allow me to stay with her. I’ve known Draya for a few years now and I promise you she is someone I can trust.
The scene opens up inside of Draya Cannon’s lavish apartment, Draya is shown looking through some papers while Brandon stares out of the window sipping on some hot tea he just finished making. Draya walks over and hands Brandon a piece of paper that causes Brandon to let out a huge sigh.
DRAYA CANNON: I know B, but we have to get this done.
BRANDON YOUNG: I hate that we're selling the Hidden Hills home, we put so much money into building that house and now we’re selling it. We didn’t even live in it for a year, like what the hell.
DRAYA CANNON: It is a beautiful home and I get why you don’t want to stay there but your better than me because I would have kept the house, I remember when Drake first thought about building the house, he always said “This is B’s dream home.”
BRANDON YOUNG: Was my dream home, he fucked that dream all up.
DRAYA CANNON: Are you sure you two can’t reconcile and make it work?
Brandon shakes his head “No.”
BRANDON YOUNG: It's done.
DRAYA CANNON: I just hate that is really over between you guys, I know you didn’t have the perfect relationship but you two were so in love.
DRAYA CANNON: I’ve known Brandon and Drake for years now, I think I came into the picture right around the time they met but I was always behind the scenes. I handled mostly the financial side of those two but I also handled some of the business stuff too. But more importantly I am a friend to both of them, even though I have a closer relationship with Brandon, I’ve always looked at Drake like a brother.
Draya shakes her head in disgust.
DRAYA CANNON: I just hate to see them two against each other but if the relationship was toxic then there’s no point to try and continue it. But what I do know is that no matter who is the wrong I will always be by both of their sides, but in a mutual manner.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DRAYA CANNON: I will say this is probably one of the easiest celebrity divorces ever to happen, you guys made this really easy. I spoke with the lawyer a few times today and she advised me that Drake really didn’t ask any questions when it came to the divorce settlement, I was told it was a pleasant experience.
BRANDON YOUNG: I will say no matter what he told me he would always take care of me, but I was never with Drake for the money, I really did love that nigga.
DRAYA CANNON: And you still do.
BRANDON YOUNG: I can't deny that I still love Drake, I think the love will always be there. He’s my first true love and I know for a fact he will always have a place in my heart, but I cannot be with him.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DRAYA CANNON: We still have to find you a new place though, I don’t mind you staying here as long as you want but eventually you’ll have to find your own place.
BRANDON YOUNG: It's going to feel so weird living alone again, part of me is happy but the other part already knows I am probably going to go through a little depression. It's going to be weird being in that house and not seeing or hearing Drake, or even the kids.
DRAYA CANNON: I know boo, but I’ll come visit you whenever you like and trust me Brandon once your ready to get back out there and date, things will be different.
BRANDON YOUNG: DATE?
DRAYA CANNON: Yes date.
DRAYA CANNON: Honestly Brandon and Drake were separated a few months before finally announcing the divorce so I don’t think it's wrong if Brandon or Drake decides to go out and start dating. Enough time has passed where it wouldn’t look disrespectful if they were to start dating but then again in this day of age, everyone has something to say no matter what you're doing.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRANDON YOUNG: I’m not even thinking about date, but I can’t tell you how many DM’s I’ve received since announcing my split from Drake, I didn’t think it would be that many niggas ready to jump on me, I’m flattered but not interested at all.
DRAYA CANNON: It’ll take time but baby don’t bore yourself out, you're young and it's okay to have some fun without feeling guilty, you did what you needed to do.
BRANDON YOUNG: And that's why we're friends bitch.
The two laugh and continue talking as the scene cuts to Atlanta, GA. Destiny Young is shown standing inside of her boutique she’s opening up called Destiny’s Boutique of Jewels. Destiny is shown pouring herself a glass of champagne as she celebrates the finish of her store, standing beside her is one of the contractors that she worked with Tré•Siyan Hunt.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: I don’t need to reintroduce myself again do I? I mean the world knows I’m Brandon Young’s crazy ass momma.
Destiny giggles.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: It feels good to be back on the tv screen, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to grace the world with my pretty face again but that’s okay because I like being behind the scenes. Anyway, today I’m in Atlanta checking on my boutique. I just finished building and boy am I excited. I decided not to open the boutique in Vegas because I was already thinking about relocating to Georgia just to start over. I’ve been divorced from my husband almost two years now and opening up a store has been taking up much of my life but now I’m ready to get out there, mingle a bit and live my freaking life. I’m meeting with my contractor so he can go over what else needs to be done and to also do a final walk through before I officially open in a couple weeks, he’s a good friend of mines son who just recently started his own construction company and of course me being the type of person to support black businesses decided to give him a shot. Plus he was ok with traveling from Vegas to Atlanta so once he made it known he was okay with traveling, I brought him on board.
The scene cuts back to Destiny and Tré•Siyan who are now sitting behind the front counter where the register is located. Destiny sips on her champagne while Tré•Siyan nibbles on some candy he pulled out of his pocket.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: I want to thank you again Miss. Young for giving me the opportunity to do this, this is like my first big job and I’m still trippin that you trusted me with the task.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: Of course, I’m just happy you were able to travel here and do the work for me. And the price was reasonable so that helped my decision to go with you also.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: You are technically family, you’ve known my moms for a long time and plus me and Brandon grew up together so it only made sense to look out for you on the price. I’m just happy you trusted me with the work and I hope you recommend me to all your rich friends.
Tré chuckles.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: Don’t worry I’ll put in a good word for you.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Speaking of Brandon, I haven’t seen him around lately, is he doing ok? I heard he split from his nigga, I was going to reach out but I didn’t want to overstep any boundaries.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: He’s fine I guess, he only opens with small information and i don’t want to pressure him but I know he's probably going through it and I feel like I’m to blame.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: I feel like it’s history repeating itself except it’s with my son. Don’t get me wrong I love Drake but he wasn’t a good fit for my son, I couldn’t tell you how many times Brandon called me on the phone crying over what Drake did to him. Even though he took really good care of my son, he also broke him down.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: He was supposed to be here actually, but he cancelled on me last minute. He’s been very busy with his store and opening up this dispensary that he hasn’t had time for anything else.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: The good thing is he’s keeping himself busy, he’s not at home sad and depressed.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Brandon is cool, we go back to high school days, I used to hang around him and Pharaoh all the time but after we graduated we all went our separate ways. Brandon was heavy into wrestling and modelling while I was building my construction company up and making babies.
Tré laughs.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Yeah I got a little son running around, he’s the only reason I got out of these streets and started making legal money, but we won’t talk about my past though. But I’m worried about him, we talk here and there but the last time I spoke to him he was still married, now that this nigga for some freedom I can make my way back in and really see what’s good with him!
The scene cuts back to the two.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: Maybe when we get back into town you guys should hang out and catch up, I know he’ll be happy to have some familiar faces around because I really don’t like the group of friends he has now.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Yea I heard they can be a wild bunch, but yea I don’t mind reaching out when I get back to LA. I got some work to do there anyway so maybe on one of my off days we can link up.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: He’ll love that, and I’m inviting him to the opening. I think you should come too, I mean without you none of this would be happening for me.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: I can do that.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: And bring your girlfriend Megan, she’s such a sweet girl.
Tré looks away shaking his head “No.”
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Nah, that’s over.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Megan is my baby mother. We were together for 3 years before we had our son, the last year was the worst. Some shit went down that caused us to grow apart and I haven’t really fucked with anyone since, let’s just say she fucked my head all up so right now I’m just chillin.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: Oh wow I’m sorry to hear that.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Oh I’m not, that whole situation is dead but either way I’ll still be in the building.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: That’s good to hear I’m sure he’ll be happy, maybe you can get him out the house and away from work, I get that business is important but so is living.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: I can do my best but I can’t make any promises.
The two laugh.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: Trying is good enough for me. I remember Brandon growing up and realizing that my son was going to be different, I always enjoyed you guys' friendship because you were always so nice to him. I honestly thought you guys would be together but when you popped out with a girlfriend my son was crushed.
Tré laughs but in a nervous manner.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Damn! I never knew.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: I knew growing up Brandon had a crush on me but I never let that bother me or mess our friendship up, I knew that we could only be friends and he knew that too.
The scene cuts back to the two.
DESTINY YOUNG-DERRICK: When you guys first started hanging out, you were the only person he was talking about besides Pharaoh. Speaking of Pharaoh if you talk to him, invite him also. I want my son to be around his friends and family, the real ones.
TRÉ•SIYAN HUNT: Of course, I got you Miss Young.
The two continue talking as the scene fades and reopens inside of BOA Steakhouse Santa Monica. Inside Braelyn, Draya, and Brandon are shown inside talking and eating.
BRANDON YOUNG: I just left an important meeting regarding the dispensary I’m trying to open with Jeremiah. Even though the meeting went well, I’m still hesitant about opening this weed shop. I don’t know if it’s my fear of failing but at the same time everyone smokes weed so I’m sure the money will come in.
Brandon giggles.
BRANDON YOUNG: Because I’m selling the good shit. But after looking at all those contracts and basically running my mouth dry from all that talking with the investors and contractors, I just needed a drink. Braelyn decided to visit me in Santa Monica and since Draya was present at the meeting, I invited her out to.
The scene cuts back to the three.
DRAYA CANNON: You know I’ve never been to this place but I’ve always heard good things about it.
BRANDON YOUNG: I’ve been here a couple times, it was one of my favorite spots. My mom owns a place out here so when we would visit, she would bring me and my siblings here.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’ve never been but I know one thing: I'm ordering something to go.
BRANDON YOUNG: I know that’s right Brae, you better go home and feed your man.
BRAELYN MONROE: Oh trust I keep him fed every night.
Braelyn winks and smiles at Brandon.
BRAELYN MONROE: I’m happy to see Brandon out of the house and enjoying himself, I know these last few months haven’t been the greatest for him but to see him now compared to how he was before, it’s a blessing. And you already know I’m going to ride out for my friend no matter what!
The scene cuts back to the three.
DRAYA CANNON: I think today’s meeting went good, baby I can see the coins adding up already.
BRANDON YOUNG: Cha-Ching! I swear y’all that is the motivation going forward, I want to stay independent and stay busy.
BRAELYN MONROE: Nothing wrong with money B, but don’t stress yourself out because at the end of the day when you go home, it won’t be the money that keeps you warm.
BRANDON YOUNG: Right it’ll be my Versace blanket and my central heat.
DRAYA CANNON: Okkkaaaayy
Both Brandon and Draya hi-five each other.
BRANDON YOUNG: I’m not even thinking about dating anyone right.
DRAYA CANNON: What about sex?
BRANDON YOUNG: Nope.
BRANDON YOUNG: Don’t get me wrong, I got needs and I wish I was getting them fulfilled on a regular but even during the ending of my marriage, we weren’t having sex like that and when we would it just wouldn’t feel right.
The scene cuts back to the three.
BRAELYN MONROE: I just know my friend and I know he loves being in love.
BRAELYN MONROE: Look I’m not saying Brandon should jump and get into a relationship right away, but I’m sure Drake is out having his fun and I don’t think Brandon should only focus on work but focus on his personal life too.
Braelyn pauses.
BRAELYN MONROE: HIs mental health is important too, that’s all I’m saying. And as for Draya, I know she’s only been here for a hot little second but I know my best friend of 10+ years so and even though we’ve all ran in the same circles, they weren’t always this close so I think she should sit back and let the person who really knows Brandon give him the good advice.
The scene cuts back to the three.
DRAYA CANNON: We need to secure these coins and get this business running before we entertain any relationships, these next couple of months are going to be extremely busy.
BRANDON YOUNG: That’s fine, Yung Fetish is still pulling in good numbers and one thing my mother and Drake taught me to do was invest, but nothing is wrong with having more money.
Brandon laughs.
BRAELYN MONROE: What about your living situation? I already told you if you wanted to come stay with me and Chase in LA you can.
BRANDON YOUNG: I don’t know where I want to live yet, LA would make sense because my businesses are here but honestly I don’t know if I want to live there again, I was thinking more of somewhere in the country and away from this city shit.
DRAYA CANNON: I think you staying in the city would be better, your legacy is there and that’s where you need to be.
BRAELYN MONROE: That’s why they have planes, trains, and buses. The country is probably what he needs right now so let’s let him make his decision on where he wants to live.
Braelyn rolls her eyes as she takes another bite of her steak.
DRAYA CANNON: Oh wow, little Mrs. Braelyn is snappy tonight, don’t worry boo no one is trying to take your friend away from you, we’re both his friends and we’re both allowed to give input or advice if he asks for it, like chill out girl.
The scene cuts back to the three.
DRAYA CANNON: I think we know that there's transportation but as time goes on that can be exhausting, anyway Brandon is going to do what he wants to do and whatever he chooses to do we will support as his friends.
BRAELYN MONROE: Period.
BRANDON YOUNG: I’ll figure it out, once my life starts to slow down then everything else will fall into place. Look I’ve been through alot 2020 and this year too so I’m trying to evolve and better myself professionally, personally and financially
BRAELYN MONROE: Yes babe, that's the goal.
DRAYA CANNON: And we should toast to that.
The three raise their glasses and click them all together.
DRAYA CANNON: But it's still nothing wrong with getting some action while you work too, I’m just saying.
The three laugh as the scene fades.
