KEON CAMP: I never in a million years thought I would be in a situation where I would be fighting for my relationship, but not fighting for my relationship. After Zuma proposed to me in my mind I thought it would only go up from there, but I was wrong. The house felt divided and we were speaking less and less each day, it wasn’t until I took a trip to Los Angeles and went home with a guy I met at a club, after that first time we kind of hooked up a few more times after that and it got to the point where I couldn’t stop seeing this guy. I knew in my heart that I was hurting Zuma and even though he didn’t know what was going on, in time I was going to have to let him know.
Keon pauses.
KEON CAMP: And boom, the messages dropped and my little secret was out in the open.
KEON CAMP: We tried so hard to fix the issues we had in our relationship but it was too late.
Keon starts to tear up.
KEON CAMP: And now here I am single and without my friend, I’m hurt but I know I have to move on and find love in myself. I made the mistake and now I have to learn from that and make sure I don’t repeat the same mistakes in my next relationship, if there is a next relationship.
The scene opens up in Edgewater, NJ one of the best and closest places to live in Jersey that is close to NYC. Keon is shown unloading a moving truck along with Amonte and A’Leah. The three grab Amonte’s sectional which now belongs to Keon off of the truck and struggle trying to carry the couch inside.
AMONTE JORDAN: I told you to hire movers.
KEON CAMP: I’m doing what I can afford, I’m on my own now so money is supertight.
AMONTE JORDAN: Boy I would have paid for the movers.
KEON CAMP: It's cool, you’ve already done enough Monte.
The three carry the sectional inside of the house and place it down on the floor, all falling down on the couch taking a break.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I am not a man, this is too much hard labor for me.
AMONTE JORDAN: Where the hell is Malik? He could have helped carry some of this shit in the house.
A’LEAH JORDAN: My man works a 9-5 boo, he couldn’t make it.
AMONTE JORDAN: But I did invite Nasir over and he said he was bringing his friend Yeshua, so they can help.
AMONTE JORDAN: So I guess the cat is out of the bag, Nasir and I have been dating a few months now and I’m enjoying every bit of this man. He’s definitely an upgrade and a change from my ex, but this time I’m talking things really slow. I asked him to meet us here today just so he could help move Keon into his new place, plus it doesn’t hurt that his friend is cute too so that’s extra eye candy I can enjoy.
Amonte smirks as the scene cuts back to the house, outside a blacked out Camaro pulls up to the house and inside Trapp and Yeshua are shown jamming to some music from Lil’ Durk. Trapp cuts the car off and the music stops, the two hop out and make their way into the house.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: So I’ve been staying in New York since the pandemic started, even though shit is opening back up I decided to stay and finish my album. Since being in New York I’ve been chilling with Amonte and I’m not going to lie we’ve become really close over these last few months.
Trapp winks.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Real close! He hit me up and asked me if I would help Keon move into his new place. I could have sworn Keon and Zuma were together but if Keon is getting his own place then I’m guessing the two aren’t together anymore. Not my business though! I brought my homie Yeshua with me just to get him out of the house, things haven’t been going well in his home lately.
Trapp shakes his head.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I guess everyone is having relationship issues these days.
The scene cuts back to the house, both Trapp and Yeshua make their way inside, Trapp and Amonte embrace while Yeshua introduces himself to Keon and A’Leah.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I appreciate y’all coming to help our friend, he’s struggling right now and Lord knows he needs all the help he can get.
KEON CAMP: Damn Leah, for real?
A’Leah shrugs as she turns and heads for the kitchen.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m just saying, but I’ll be right back. I'm going to make us some drinks.
KEON CAMP: Don’t listen to her, she’s always clowning someone.
YESHUA BANNER: You good, I wasn’t doing shit today anyway.
AMONTE JORDAN: Awe look at y’all hitting it off.
Keon blushes as Yeshua shrugs the comment off.
YESHUA BANNER: What? We just talking bruh, chill.
Yeshua turns and looks at Keon.
YESHUA BANNER: But are you good though?
Keon stands there with a blank expression on his face, it felt like so much time was going by even though it only been a couple of seconds.
KEON CAMP: I guess, I’ve been through the worst and I’m still here.
YESHUA BANNER: You're a survivor, be proud of that.
AMONTE JORDAN: I keep telling him that, but he doesn’t want to listen.
KEON CAMP: I’m listening, it’s just going to take time.
AMONTE JORDAN: Well I’m happy you dropped that dirtbag.
The scene cuts to the outside where another car is shown pulling into the driveway, inside the car is Todrick Tabor and Austin Ramsey who were invited secretly by Keon. The two sit in the car for a few minutes to gather their thoughts and the scene cuts back to inside Keon’s home. Amonte notices the car in the driveway and he walks over to the window.
AMONTE JORDAN: Are we expecting more people?
KEON CAMP: Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I invited Tabor and Austin over.
Immediately Amonte’s facial expression gives off anger, he stares at Keon with a disappointed look and just shakes his head.
AMONTE JORDAN: And why would you do such a thing my friend? You already know I don’t get along with these two.
AMONTE JORDAN: I don’t know why Keon thought it was a good idea to invite these two douchebags over here. I can’t stand Austin’s ass and I haven’t cared for Tabor since I’ve met him. I hope Keon has a good enough reason for them to be here because no one knows Trapp and I are dating and I would like to keep it that way.
Amonte shakes his head.
AMONTE JORDAN: So disappointing Keon.
The scene cuts back to inside the house.
KEON CAMP: Look, London sent us a message about going to Greece and I figured if we all were going on this trip that we should at least sit down and hash out all of our issues. I don’t want to go to Greece and our trip is ruined by constant fighting, so can we just at least sit down and talk?
AMONTE JORDAN: Damnit Keon.
YESHUA BANNER: Ayo bro, I think we should have come another day.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Fo sho.
KEON CAMP: I know I probably should have told Amonte and A’Leah that Tabor and Austin were coming but I know if I did then they probably wouldn’t have shown up, either way I’m not flying all the way to Greece just to fight with people, it’s pointless.
Austin and Todrick are sitting in the driveway in Austin’s 2021 BMW M8 in an argument. Todrick and Keon had been providing support to one another in text messages trying to get closer to one another recently and this had led to the bright idea of trying to fix things in the group. Austin found out about the meeting and would not take no for an answer when it came to Todrick attending alone when he found out Amonte and A’Leah would be present. Todrick told Keon that Austin was coming whether they wanted it or not and here we are today.
TODRICK TABOR: This is 100% not a good idea to go in here together. Austin woke up on a 10 this morning and nothing I have done has seemed to calm him down. He is against this sit down because he says it is a complete waste of time. I have hope that things can improve but what if he’s right?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: This is fucking stupid, and you know it. Why can’t we just go to the beach and enjoy our day?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: For someone so smart, sometimes Todrick can be stupid. Why would you attempt to have a sit down with Amonte and A’Leah of all people? Then have the nerve to be upset because I won’t let you enter the viper’s den alone?
TODRICK TABOR: Austin, I told you that you did not have to come. I don’t understand why you are making this into an argument. I get that you don’t think we will fix anything, but I want to try. I don’t want to spend every moment fighting in Greece.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: I’m sick of talking about this, you aren’t going in there alone. PERIOD. I’m going in there.
TODRICK TABOR: Can you please keep an open mind?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Can you please not be so fucking naive?
TODRICK TABOR: That was uncalled for!
AUSTIN RAMSEY: I know he’s right but FUUUUUUUUCK! I don’t want to do this today or any day for that matter. Mark my words, fake promises will be exchanged, and everyone will promise to do better. They will continue to talk about each other behind each other’s backs, and then a fight in public will commence after drinking. Then Todrick will cry and I will rage and we will all be right back here in the same space. But what the fuck do I know, right?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Toddy, I’m sorry. What I should’ve said was please be cautious.
TODRICK TABOR: He means well, but his passion comes across the wrong way. Please God, let him be calm when we get in here. Amonte already hates him and will intentionally push his buttons. Also, please let A’Leah be sober.
Todrick rolls his eyes.
TODRICK TABOR: I will be alert to everything happening around me. I’m not just going to go in here and roll over. Most of their beef was with Zuma, and I was just collateral damage because of our friendship. You are collateral damage because of me.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: To be clear, they can suck my fat dick. I don’t care about them and I’m only going to be nice because of you. If they play shit games, they’ll get shit prizes.
Todrick knows that is the closest thing to a behavior modification agreement he is going to get out of Austin. He nods and leans over and kisses him. They get out of the car and Austin is wearing a plain white t-shirt, red jean shorts, a red NY Yankees cap, and red Giuseppe Zanotti Kriss Leather Mid-Top Sneakers. Todrick is wearing a red jumpsuit with Black Lives Matter written on the chest, and Givenchy red gladiator sandals. They meet in front of the car and Austin gently takes Todrick’s hand into his own, and they walk to the front door, and ring the bell.
AMONTE JORDAN: Go get the door Keon, I refuse to open it and greet the broke.
Keon rolls his eyes and rushes to the door, he opens it and says “hi” to Todrick, he turns and looks at Austin and for a second there was an awkward moment of silence before Keon finally speaks to Austin. The awkward silence made Austin squirm and Todrick firmly gripped his hand and maintained a pleasant smile.
KEON CAMP: Hey guys, thanks for coming. Everyone is in the living room right now, we kind of took a break from moving stuff in.
TODRICK TABOR: Thank you for inviting us over Keon. Congratulations on your new home. I hope you create a lot of fond memories here.
Austin gives him a blank stare and Todrick squeezes his hand yet again.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Yeah, nice place man.
KEON CAMP: Thank you guys. I hope I can make the most out of this place, it’s my first.
Both Austin and Todrick follow Keon inside the home and into the living room area where everyone is sitting. Austin plops down in one of the empty seats while Todrick politely speaks to everyone. Todrick notices Yeshua sitting very close to Keon and he doesn’t like what he sees. Amonte sits there annoyed at the presence of Austin and Todrick and he tries his best not to say anything mean.
KEON CAMP: I think we should wait until Leah gets back with the drinks.
AMONTE JORDAN: You already know she isn’t going to be happy that these two are here.
KEON CAMP: Well she has to get over it.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I don’t know what’s going on here, I think me and Yeshua should probably step outside and have a smoke break, let y’all handle whatever mess y’all got going on.
YESHUA BANNER: That sounds like a plan.
Yeshua gets up from the couch but before he does he whispers something in Keon’s ear which forces Keon to blush and Tabor to watch on disgusted and confused. Both Trapp and Yeshua leave the room leaving Amonte, Keon, Austin and Todrick all by themselves.
PRODUCER: What was it you said to Keon before you left?
Yeshua chuckles.
YESHUA BANNER: Mind ya business playa.
The scene cuts back to the group, by this time A’Leah has made her way back into the room, she notices Todrick and Austin are here and she quickly becomes irritated.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Why the fuck are these two jackasses sitting in Keon’s living room right now?
TODRICK TABOR: Hello to you as well, rudeness. Who enters the room and is just nasty for no reason?
Austin flashes a look at Todrick but remains quiet as his neck begins to turn red.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Right out the fucking gate! Once again, let the record reflect I was right.
The scene cuts back to the group.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Uhhh hello, is anyone going to explain to me why these fools are sitting in this living room with us, we don’t associate with the opps.
AMONTE JORDAN: This was Keon’s idea, he’s trying to play peacemaker before the Greece trip.
KEON CAMP: Leah, just sit down so we can figure out the issue we have with each other, dead it and move on. I think we all here are dealing with some sort of personal issue where we could use one another rather than hate each other. It’s starting to drain the hell out of me and I’m already dealing with a lot.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Whatever!
KEON CAMP: I think we all can agree that when it’s good we have fun, and all I want to do is get back to that place.
AMONTE JORDAN: Well tell these ignorant assholes to keep me and my sisters names outta their mouths with the false stories and slanderous comments.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I don’t care, they don’t know us that well to even speak about us, so no matter what comes out of both of their mouths regarding us it will always be a lie.
Austin visibly tenses up and Todrick raises his eyebrow and purses his lips and blinks rapidly.
TODRICK TABOR: That’s rich coming from the two of you. Our names are ALWAYS in your mouths, yet you know little to nothing about us. Every time I log onto Twitter or look in the blogs, y’all are bumping your gums about us. So all is fair in love and war Boo Boo Kitty.
TODRICK TABOR: Oh dear God. This heffa is forever spoiling shit because she is a miserable trollop. Was any of this necessary? How hard is it to not act like a fucking baboon’s ass?
A’LEAH JORDAN: Don’t flatter yourself, you aren’t anyone special for me to “Run to the blogs” or gossip about, neither of you have anything I want.
A’Leah gets frustrated, rubbing her stomach she lets out a huge grunt.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Look at her, just gassy and messy. We all know she stank, be like Elsa and let it go.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I really don’t have the energy to fight with these two, you guys can be friends but I don’t have too.
KEON CAMP: This really isn’t fixing the issue, I know we can do better than this.
AMONTE JORDAN: Look as much as I hate to agree with Keon, he is right. I don’t want to spend my time in Greece arguing with these two no matter how much I hate them so if we have to fake it just to make this trip fun and easy, then so be it.
Leah rolls her eyes.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Look y’all do whatever you want too, I’m going home.
KEON CAMP: Wait what? I thought you were going to help us.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Looks like you have all the help you need.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Nope i refuse to sit around those two and act like nothing ever happened, there’s no reason for us to sit down and talk because those two won’t own up to anything, talking it out with them would be like talking to a brick wall, so count me out.
The scene cuts back to the group, A’Leah exits the room and leaves Keon's home, she jumps into her car and drives off. The scene cuts back inside of the house where Keon, Amonte, Todrick and Austin are still shown sitting around.
AMONTE JORDAN: So what happens next?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Is that any indication of how the rest of this conversation is going to go?
Todrick shoots Austin a cautionary look which he flippantly ignores.
TODRICK TABOR: Ugh, that is exactly what Austin is sitting there waiting on. Why she had to act like that is beyond me but without recycling what I said about her last season, she truly doesn’t know what her beef with us is. She just knows her brother, who is the actual person with a storyline, doesn’t like us. Once again, she realized she has no role in this scene and so she yapped and bailed. Bye Poodle.
Todrick chuckles.
TODRICK TABOR: Well let’s just get into it. You don’t like us, and we want to get to the root of it, fix it, and hopefully move forward. We are open to fixing things, right Austin?
Austin cuts his eyes at Todrick but nods yes.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Fuck this pussy shit.
Austin let’s out an annoyed sigh.
The scene cuts back to the group.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Yeah, I’m open. Totally open Babe. What the fuck is the “actual” problem? We keep tap dancing around this shit. I’m not really here for the bitch shit. For once, I agree with A’Leah’s response.
KEON CAMP: I just don’t want to argue anymore, I’m drained and honestly it’s getting us nowhere
TODRICK TABOR: I agree with Keon. We can’t be aggressive and argue with one another here. Austin, please bring it down please.
TODRICK TABOR: That may cost me later, but that was calculated to de-escalate the situation, and hopefully it brings Amonte down a few levels because I got onto Austin. Here’s hoping.
Yeshua and Trapp both make their way inside interrupting the conversation, Yeshua sits down close to Keon while Trapp sits next to Amonte.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: Y’all finished yet? We figured y’all was done because we didn’t hear anymore yelling.
YESHUA BANNER: Why everytime y’all get together there’s always an issue or fight?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: I don’t know. Todrick, why don’t you tell the nice man why there is always an issue. I mean since Austin is the one that has to bring it down right?
Austin is fully red and visibly pissed off.
TODRICK TABOR: I know Amonte is enjoying this and that literally burns my ass up but I can handle Austin. Pissed or not, no one else in this room can fire off on me and if I maintain his focus, we may get somewhere.
Austin is now glaring at Todrick.
TODRICK TABOR: Austin, you aren’t the only one, I’m sorry if I made you feel singled out. A’Leah left, and I need us to focus.
Austin looks away and leans back in his chair and folds his arms across his chest. He waits a few seconds and then turns and looks at Todrick with a smirk because he still has to answer Yeshua. Austin is the only one in the room that truly knows how “sweet and innocent” Todrick truly feels about him. Almost childlike, Austin responds.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Yes, let’s refocus Todrick. I do believe Yeshua asked a question that you need to respond to.
Todrick pauses and Austin raises an eyebrow and smirks at him and shrugs.
TODRICK TABOR: We are trying to figure that out Yeshua, but I don’t know if we can do that in one day. So, you seem quite confident to speak up. I guess you and Keon have gotten close enough to where you can consider yourself a friend of the group?
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Oh...looks like something struck little Ms. Peacekeepers' nerves. Hehehe.
Austin shakes his head happily and the scene cuts back to the group.
YESHUA BANNER: I’m just asking a question for real, y’all supposed to be friends right but it’s like everytime y’all get together it’s some bullshit. Maybe I’m just too grown to entertain the little childish shit because it’s more important shit going on in the world then this.
AMONTE JORDAN: I agree, I have a flourishing eyewear line,
I’m making money and I’m going to be an uncle, I really don’t care about anything else. But the problem in the group is sitting right over there.
Amonte points at Austin.
AMONTE JORDAN: It’s something about that man I don’t like, he just gives me creepy pedophile vibes, like no lie.
Amonte shrugs
AMONTE JORDAN: Just weird man.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Strike one!
The scene cuts back to the group.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I don’t know y’all like that, this really my first time spending more than five minutes in the room with you and I can already tell y’all seem like good people, I don’t know the extent of what’s going on but do you guys think y’all could put your differences aside and just be cordial, that seems like a better solution.
NASIR “TRAPP” GRANT: I don’t know Todrick and Austin but I can see that Todrick is more the peacemaker in the relationship because homie sitting next to him looks like he’s ready to explode.
Trapp chuckles and the scene cuts back to the group.
AMONTE JORDAN: Austin is the problem, like I said if he keeps his mouth shut and stops speaking on me and my personal business then we wouldn’t have a problem. He wasn’t even around in the beginning and now that he’s here he thinks he’s running shit and it doesn’t work like that.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Strike two, I hope to God, there is not a third. I’m trying real hard to stay seated right now.
KEON CAMP: Ok look, enough! Why don’t each party just apologize and move on, it’s not that freaking hard.
TODRICK TABOR: Keon is right. There is no point in slinging mud here. Facts are facts, and you and your sister have said horrible things about us. We did not take the high road, and said horrible things about you both in response. One sin is no greater than the other so I’d like to apologize for my part in it. Hopefully, we can move past this and be cordial to one another. It is going to take a willingness from everyone to work on the friendship portion.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Apologizing means I did something wrong, so here’s what you will get out of me. I’m sorry for behaving exactly like you did. I’m sorry that you couldn’t handle what you dished out. I’m sorry that you somehow believe that you are the actual victim in this situation. You are right, I wasn’t on the original cast but I listened to everything you had to say about Todrick all season and after the season was over and I’m quite sick of it. You don’t want people talking about you, then stop talking about them.
TODRICK TABOR: Austin, that’s not really…
AUSTIN RAMSEY: Not done Todrick. You have zero, like zero proof that I’m broke but you are always putting that shit on the internet and in the blogs. Don’t say it isn’t you because they fucking record you. It’s shit like that but when you get it back it’s “poor me”. Stop doing that shit and I’ll stop. Let my name taste like shit in your mouth, keep it out. Now I’m done, Todrick.
Todrick closes his eyes and shakes his head. He sighs and looks at Keon.
TODRICK TABOR: I guess that is about as productive as today’s conversation is going to go. Keon, thank you for inviting us to your lovely home. Oh dear, Austin, will you go get the gift out of the car?
Austin cuts his eyes at Todrick and sighs. He gets up and goes outside. Todrick looks at the entire group.
TODRICK TABOR: We are going to work on it. I promise.
Austin comes back in the house and gives Amonte a “I’ll kick the shit out of you look as he passes him”. He hands Keon a large box wrapped in silver paper and tied with a red bow. He turns his back and gives Todrick the “let’s leave now” look. Todrick smiles to keep them from seeing and Austin takes his hand and helps him up.
TODRICK TABOR: Thanks again. Nice to see everyone and Greece may not be perfect but at least we won’t be fighting the entire time. Have a good evening.
KEON CAMP: This really went nowhere, I feel like we didn’t get anything really accomplished, it’s good that we’re going to try and coexist but damn we could have just ended it all here, but I guess if you want to leave then I don’t blame you.
AMONTE JORDAN: I mean look who we’re dealing with, but whatever.
The scene shows the camera crew packing up, the group are still arguing after taping has stopped, some are removing their mics while others are still arguing with them on. Yeshua and Keon walk off from the argument, both are a little drunk from all the drinks they had before, during and after the sit down and the two head outside to the back yard, the scene cuts to a black screen since cameras are down but the mic is still recording.
KEON CAMP: I don’t know if we can keep pretending like we don’t know each other, I mean for weeks I’ve been in and out of your hotel bed hiding this secret.
YESHUA BANNER: I know but I don’t want to blow our shit up, not until I figure out what I’m going to do about my situation, you know I love Richie, but I’m fuck with you heavy.
KEON CAMP: I mean if you want to be together then you have to leave him to be with me, we have to do this the right way. But you are who I want to be with.
YESHUA BANNER: I got you, just ride with me and I’ll make a decision soon.
The two continue talking but the sounds are mumbled, the scene fades and reopens with A’Leah and her boyfriend Malik standing in the doctor's office, A’Leah is shown wearing a patient's robe and sitting on the exam table while Malik sits in one of the chairs off to the corner.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m so nervous baby.
MALIK HOUSTON: Don’t be, I'm sure everything will be okay.
A’LEAH JORDAN: This is my first child and I want to do this the right way.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Yes you me say this is my first child, I am pregnant with Malik’s baby and I cannot wait to be a mother. I never in a million years thought I would be carrying someone’s child and at a young age but here I am doing it. I’m so blessed!
A’Leah smiles as she rubs her stomach.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Today is just a checkup with the doctor just to make sure I’m ok and the baby is ok, and Malik is here with me just to be the supportive baby daddy I need for him to be.
The scene cuts back to the two.
MALIK HOUSTON: I got you every step of the way baby, this is my first too so we’re both going to have to learn how to do this, be parents that is.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Shouldn't be that hard right?
MALIK HOUSTON: I don’t know babe.
A’LEAH JORDAN: Don’t you think we should be discussing marriage or something, I never wanted to be that girl pregnant with someone’s child and not married or engaged. It’s kind of weird to me and embarrassing!
MALIK HOUSTON: Embarrassing to who?
A’LEAH JORDAN: To me, what would my family and friends think?
MALIK HOUSTON: I honestly don’t care what anyone thinks about what we do in our household, you already know how I feel about marriage right now, who's to say that won’t change later but I think our main focus should be on this baby and not what others think about why we aren’t married.
A’LEAH JORDAN: But what if I want to be married?
MALIK HOUSTON: Come on babe, are we really going to do this here at the doctor's office and on camera? I don’t want to talk about this.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I feel like no matter where we are you never want to talk about it.
MALIK HOUSTON: Because you already know how I feel about the situation and you're trying to get me hype for these cameras, I don’t like that.
A’Leah shakes her head.
PRODUCER: Does Malik always get this aggressive when the topic of marriage is brought up?
A’LEAH JORDAN: No! I think he doesn’t like uncomfortable conversations and when I met Malik he always had a negative mindset when it came to true commitment, meaning marriage. I just thought the more we grew he would change his mind, but I can see that we’re still stuck in the same space.
The scene cuts back to the two.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I didn’t mean to upset you, I just want to raise this child in a healthy loving household like I was, and both my parents are still married to each other and I just wanted that life for my child too.
MALIK HOUSTON: Can we just take it one day at a time.
A’LEAH JORDAN: That’s fine.
A knock is heard on the door and the doctor announces herself before walking in. A’Leah smiles as she greets the doctor but Malik on the other hand, still irritated from the conversation earlier, jumps out of the chair snatching the mic from his pants.
MALIK HOUSTON: See this is why I didn’t want to do this shit, y’all trying to make me look like the bad guy like I don’t want to marry this woman or something.
Malik storms towards the door ignoring A’Leah’s cries for him to calm down. Malik opens the door and storms out.
A’LEAH JORDAN: I’m so embarrassed that he acted so ignorantly in front of the doctor now she probably thinks the worst.
The scene cuts back to A’Leah and the doctor, the doctor makes sure A’Leah is okay and she nods her head with a simple “Yes”. The doctor starts going over the visit for today and the scene fades and reopens with Austin in the confessional.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: So I suppose I should’ve introduced myself earlier. I’m Austin Ramsey. Last season, I was simply Todrick’s boyfriend but today, I’m the luckiest guy on the planet because I asked him to marry me, and he said yes. Since you last saw me, my wrestling career has taken off, my personal training business is thriving, and I’ve become a social media influencer. I grew up poor and I promised to never live like that again. I will die working my fingers to the bone before I am ever in a situation where I can’t afford something that I want. People make jokes all the time about my finances but I never let a bitch know what’s in my pockets. Todrick and I will never EVER want for a thing.
PRODUCER: Is that why you react kind of poorly when someone calls you poor? It seems you let Amonte really get under your skin when he says that.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: He is just annoying as shit. He just says shit, and then acts like there are no consequences for the bullshit that comes out of his mouth. I’d rather just punch him in the mouth and get it over with but he’s the type that will press charges. I’ll catch him alone somewhere and we’ll see how big and bad he really is.
Austin pauses
AUSTIN RAMSEY: I’m not bothered by someone calling me broke, I was for the majority of my life. The difference with me, and others, is that I own my shit. With this crew, everyone has to act like they are so perfect, and no one has a past. I can only be me and that has to be enough. Todrick told me that I was enough and sometime very soon I’m going to give him the last name Ramsey.
Austin shakes his head.
AUSTIN RAMSEY: I almost lost him, and that was 100% my fault but he stuck with me. No one has ever stuck beside ya boy like that and for that..I’ll give him the entire world.
The scene cuts and opens up with Keon arriving at one of his favorite spots in Edgewater, “La Santa Grille” is home to the best grilled fish and shrimp ever. The scene cuts inside where Keon is shown sitting at one of the tables alone with his mask still covering his face. The waiter walks over and takes his drink order and then walks away, Keon finally pulls the mask down and lets out a huge breath of air.
KEON CAMP: I fucking hate these things.
KEON CAMP: I asked Tabor to meet me here today one on one. I know the last time we were together it was a little awkward because we were trying to hash out our issues amongst the group but I also noticed how Tabor was uncomfortable with seeing me and Yeshua so flirty.
Keon shrugs.
KEON CAMP: Oh well, I’m single and I’m trying to keep my mind occupied and off of Zuma, so if being flirty is helping my mindset right now then so be it.
Todrick walks into the restaurant and asks for Keon. The hostess directs him to Keon’s table. He blows her a kiss and heads to the table. He sees Keon and leans down.
TODRICK TABOR: Okay so part II honey. I may have lied to Austin about where I was going and what I was doing. He seemed content with his online gaming with Sam, Xavier, and Ricky when I left. Keon and I have still been texting one another trying to sort all this mess out. He invited me to dinner and I happily accepted. Don’t get it twisted, he and I have things to sort out but we can actually get it done...I think. I’m open and that’s what matters.
TODRICK TABOR: Hey love.
Todrick kisses him on both sides of his cheeks and then sits down.
TODRICK TABOR: This is nice, hun. Thanks for inviting me out.
KEON CAMP: No problem, this is one of my favorite spots.
A couple seconds of silence goes by.
KEON CAMP: But anyway I invited you here alone because I wanted us to talk, I feel like this group is so divided and I think I played a part in it.
TODRICK TABOR: That burden is not yours to bear alone. We all have a part to play in this. Everyone has to accept and own their role. Only then can we truly heal and move forward. It seems like we are the only two willing to try though.
KEON CAMP: I really don’t understand Amonte’s reasons of why he doesn’t care for you guys but I never really had an issue with you or Austin. The one thing that turned me off from Austin was the way he treated you before it got good and I was only trying to be a friend by voicing my opinions about your relationship. I will admit my delivery and my words weren’t the best but I didn’t mean any harm by it.
TODRICK TABOR: Honestly, I appreciate hearing you say that. Austin is very complicated. The fact that you can see that, and were still in my corner speaks volumes. A lot of people don’t make it past the wall of fire that Austin has up to protect himself because of his past. They aren’t willing to try and he makes sure they know he is okay with that. I’m sure out of this entire group you are privy to more info because of Zuma. I thank you for your discretion, and I hope you see that I returned the favor. Tis’ why I was upset when Amonte spilled the beans about Rayshon in the group chat.. That was messy, messy, and I didn’t feel like it was his place to do so.
KEON CAMP: It wasn’t his place and we had a talk about that, but I think he let his emotions get the best of him because he was so angry with Zuma.
Keon sighs.
KEON CAMP: I really messed up with that whole situation but what can I do now? I’ve never had real love in my life besides what my grandparents and my siblings have shown me but as for relationships, it was very new to me and I don’t think I knew how to handle it, I wasn’t used to it.
KEON CAMP: Now I wasn’t the main reason why me and Zuma ended, trust he played a role too. But I think what I did by stepping outside of our relationship is what really killed it. But I wasn’t happy at all, I didn’t know what to do.
Keon sits there silent trying to find the words to say but for some reason he couldn’t talk.
KEON CAMP: I don’t know.
The scene cuts back to Todrick and Keon.
KEON CAMP: Rayshon was just a fun time but when I met Yeshua, feelings became involved and it’s such a sticky situation because he’s still legally married to Richie Rich and I know it must have been awkward for you to see him there but if I have to be honest with you, Yeshua has been around for a while now we just acted like we didn’t really know each other so people would start assuming things.
TODRICK TABOR: I’ll admit, it wasn’t the most pleasant situation but I was so focused on trying to control Austin that we never got to sneak off to talk about it.
TODRICK TABOR: Lord knows that I am not sitting here judging Keon, I’m the last person who should be judging anyone. Austin cheated on me publically and I stayed with him. It’s hard because Zuma and I were super close and I was only seeing things from his point of view. Now he’s gone and basically cut ties with all of us. I know he had a lot going on and this just sent him over the edge.
Todrick pauses
TODRICK TABOR: Keon and I developed a relationship that I’d like to keep with or without Zuma. We all say we are adults but it’s time to put up or shut up and be there for Keon. Still, I have strong feelings about cheating but it’s not really my life is it?
The scene cuts back to the two.
TODRICK TABOR: Hun, this is all so complicated. You have Yeshua and Rayshon but you still don’t seem happy, friend. Now I don’t mean that in a bad way, but I can see it on your face. How long can you keep this up?
Keon sits there for a second speechless, he honestly doesn’t know what he wants. The breakup from Zuma was still stressing him out and even though he’s been having fun, the happiness still wasn’t there.
KEON CAMP: I don’t know, my emotions are all over the place and part of me wants to be single while the other part desires the touch of a man, the love of a man.
TODRICK TABOR: That is something we all want Babe, and there is nothing wrong with that. You have to do what makes you happy. There is no time limit on when you get to step out and find your happiness. This situation however, is the definition of “it’s complicated.”
KEON CAMP: What I do know is I need to figure this thing out with Yeshua because I don’t want to be known in the world as “the home wrecker”
KEON CAMP: Yea I don’t want that title at all, home wrecker is like the worst title you can have so I’m torn in between to keep having fun or letting that situation go.
The scene cuts back to the two.
KEON CAMP: Anyway I’ll figure it out, but I appreciate you coming to sit with me and us talking, I think we really needed this and we should toast to having a fun time in Greece.
TODRICK TABOR: You will figure it out, but honey be very careful out here. The girls are “eaguh” to get and spill the tea. My lips are completely sealed. But yes, honey, let’s toast to a great trip to Greece. We need this trip, and I can’t wait to go.
The two toast to a good time in Greece and continue talking. The scene fades and reopens up in London’s Manhattan apartment, inside London is shown making some sandwiches and some drinks. The scene cuts to the outside where Brandon Young is shown pulling up to the apartment building, he hops out and passes his key to the valet.
BRANDON YOUNG: Oooh this is fancy.
Brandon makes his way inside the building and the scene cuts back to the inside of London’s apartment.
LONDON CARTER•KING I guess it’s true when people say “never say never” because here I am in front of these cameras after I swore up and down that I would never do this show again.
London shrugs.
LONDON CARTER•KING But I guess things change, now I’m sure everyone is wondering why I’m in New York and the rumors swirling around town that Anthony and I ended our marriage are all lies. I’m in New York handling some business regarding my sock and underwear line, and since I’m going to be here for a while then why not take the opportunity to showcase my materials.
London smiles.
LONDON CARTER•KING I hit Brandon up and told him to meet me at my house today just so we can catch up, I know he’s been going through some shit and I just want to be there for my friend.
The scene cuts back to London’s apartment, Brandon finally makes it inside and the two embrace with a long hug.
BRANDON YOUNG: Yo, we can’t keep going long periods of time without seeing each other, I really wish your ass would just move to the west coast.
LONDON CARTER•KING Here you go, you sound like Anthony.
LONDON CARTER•KING I do not want to live in LA, the east coast is where I need to be and where I’m going to stay until I leave this earth.
London shrugs.
LONDON CARTER•KING No shade.
The scene cuts back the two.
LONDON CARTER•KING When I leave here I’m going back to Miami to stay for a week and then the remainder of the year I’ll be in LA so don’t worry you’ll start seeing me a lot more.
BRANDON YOUNG: Good because I need my brother around. It’s a bit lonely now since I don’t have …. Well it’s been lonely!
LONDON CARTER•KING How are you doing?
BRANDON YOUNG: I’ve had my good and bad days, more good than bad but I’m pulling through.
BRANDON YOUNG: I’m not going to lie, my divorce with Drake has been a hard one and I don’t mean hard as difficult but it’s just sad and draining. My life has changed so much and I haven’t even thought about dating yet, shit I don’t think I remember how too.
Brandon shrugs.
BRANDON YOUNG: But life must go on.
The scene cuts back to the two.
LONDON CARTER•KING Do you guys still talk?
BRANDON YOUNG: Not really, it’s mostly through the lawyers. But he randomly FaceTime me the other day so I can talk and see the kids.
LONDON CARTER•KING That must be hard.
BRANDON YOUNG: It is, but I’m dealing with it day by day. But enough about my drama, what about you? What the hell is here?
LONDON CARTER•KING The money is here and a couple of my businesses, I normally come to NY and stay a week but this time I have to be here for two months so I wasn’t about to pay for a hotel so I’m leasing this place short term until I move back.
BRANDON YOUNG: Do you even have any friends here?
LONDON CARTER•KING Not really, maybe two. But I told myself I would be open to hanging around people, maybe networking. Amaya actually told me about a group of friends she hangs around with and invited me to an event tomorrow, I know some of her friends through passing but I wouldn’t say we’re all best friends.
BRANDON YOUNG: That name sounds so familiar.
LONDON CARTER•KING I’ve known Amaya for a long time, she was actually Brooklyn’s lawyer at one point and she was on the team when Brooke divorced Shark, after that shit was over with we all remained cool and hung out sometimes.
BRANDON YOUNG: Well, be careful.
LONDON CARTER•KING You should come with me, I mean you’ll be here a couple days so why not get out and have some fun, take your mind off the bullshit that you’re going through.
BRANDON YOUNG: Now you know how I am around new people, and you already know how hard it is for me to trust people too so are you sure you want me to come?
LONDON CARTER•KING Chill B, I think we’ll have fun and plus I rather you be there with me just in case I don’t get along with these people.
LONDON CARTER•KING I’ve always been the person to keep my guard up, especially with everything I’ve been through. It's only right to be hesitant of who I allow in my personal space. A lot of times people enter in your life with bad intentions so if I can keep positivity in my life then why invite them negative in?
London shrugs.
LONDON CARTER•KING But I’m open to meeting new people, but as for Brandon I don’t know, shit it might not be a good idea to invite him because we all know he can go from 0 to 100 real quick.
The scene cuts back to the two.
BRANDON YOUNG: I thought you were taking these people to Greece.
LONDON CARTER•KING Now you know that’s a MIL thing, I do mention that the group should take a trip together, reconnect, form new friendship and repair old ones, I don’t really care. All I know is this quarantine shit is finally letting up and people are trying to have fun with no worries.
BRANDON YOUNG: I hear that, well I won’t go to Greece because I can’t be stuck overseas with a bunch of people I don’t know, I’m too far from home and no one wants to get locked up out of the country, so count me out.
London shakes his head.
LONDON CARTER•KING You suck! Ha! But I mentioned the trip to Amaya, she said she would tell the group and I guess tomorrow at this event we’ll all talk about it, go over some ground rules.
BRANDON YOUNG: Greece sounds fun though, I hope y’all can go and actually have fun but you know how left these trips can go.
LONDON CARTER•KING Yes I know, but I hope they know not to try me that’s all I’m saying.
The two laugh and continue talking as the scene fades and reopens with Paul Montuori is sitting in front of #theLIFENY backdrop. A makeup artist is putting the finishing touches on him.
PAUL MONTUORI Make sure to accentuate my cheekbones.
