ROQUEL WEATHERS:
And welcome back ladies and gentleman to the Reunion special with DESI STACKZ. Now if you remember on the finale Desi was introduced. Now even though she didn't come to end of the season we wanted to give her a opportunity to speak her mind on everything that went down.
Roquel smiles.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Sitting next to me is the lovely Desi Stackz, first I want to thank you for sitting down with me and it sucks you didn't make it to the reunion.
DESI STACKZ:
I can understand why I wasn't there, it's no biggie. I didn't sign on to the show until midseason and by the time they could fit me in the filming schedule it was kind of to late. But they insisted on me still filming. And to be honest I watched the reunion and Iām kind of happy I wasn't apart of that drama.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Chile I was apart of it and it was a mess, but that's what the reunion is, a time and place for everyone to sit down, talk, clear the air and move on.
DESI STACKZ:
I guess so but their drama was pointless.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Do you know any of the other casts?
DESI STACKZ:
I actually hosted a event with Isaiah the other night and he was a sweetheart, we exchanged numbers and plan on hanging out in the near future. I know Jalen through mutual friends but everyone else is new to me and I haven't really met them. Well briefly at Trinityās party but we all saw how that ended.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
How would you handled that situation?
DESI STACKZ:
I understand both sides of the story, but violence is never the issue, it doesn't solve anything.
Roquel nods.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Now you are openly bisexual and stated on the show that you've been in a long term relationship with a female named Hazel, what is the status of you two?
DESI STACKZ:
We're actually still together, just like any relationship we have our issues and with me being out in Atlanta has been weighing heavy on our relationship.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Well you have to understand her feelings, she's probably use to sleeping and waking up to you everyday so the fact that you're thousands miles away probably new to her.
DESI STACKZ:
I get that, but it boils down to surviving and a career. I want to advance and right now Atlanta is where the money is at. I gave her the option to come down here with me and she declined that offer. She has a job there and her family is there so that's where she chooses to be.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Well it has been confirmed that ATL was picked up for another season in the future, so with you coming back don't you think it'll affect the relationship even more.
DESI STACKZ:
I guess I have to cross that bridge when it happens. Hazel knows I love her and would love to spend forever with her, but this was an opportunity couldn't let go to waste and one day sheāll understand that and have peace with it.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
I was excited to see #theLIFE add a lesbian or a bisexual woman to the cast, it's a show that follow the lives of people who live within the LGBT community, I mean adding transwomen and even a drag queen.
Roquel pauses.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Honey we even had so called DL men on the show.
DESI STACKZ:
I thought it was great that they wanted to touch on every aspect of life involving the LGBT community because it's more than just gay men. I enjoyed the little TV time I got because I still feel as though I had a purpose and there was a reason why I was chose to be on the show. As for the DL dude, I feel bad for the girl involved but I get why it's hard for men sometimes to express their sexuality especially when they're struggling with it. Iām glad he finally let the truth out it just sucks how it happened.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Does anyone from the cast concern you? Like maybe you be hesitant hanging around them?
DESI STACKZ:
I thought everyone was different in their own little way, I wouldn't judge until I physically meet someone and even with meeting them I wouldn't necessarily judge but I would know if I would want them in my space or not. Iām interested in hanging with everyone and see what type of friendships I can form.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
It really sucks that production found you so late.
DESI STACKZ:
It was bad timing honestly and they even gave me the opportunity to start next season or they said if you want to make your entrance now you can so I decided to go with now.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Will we possibly see Hazel on next season?
DESI STACKZ:
I mean who knows, she's such a private person and she doesn't really want to be behind the camera. She hates that Iām doing the show but she understands the reasons why Iām doing it.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
We got see your brother appear on the show and its looks like you guys are really close.
DESI STACKZ:
We are, that's my best friend also.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
You're brother stated he had got into some trouble and his parents kind of separated themselves from him, why is that?
DESI STACKZ:
I couldn't tell you, until this day I hear so many different reasons why they won't have a relationship with him but to me it's all bullshit. He's your son who made a honest mistake and he has been dealing with it since it happened. My brother is strong though and I know he will bounce back on his feet.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
Can you tell us what he did?
DESI STACKZ:
I really donāt like talking about it and I honestly can't talk about it, but all that doesn't matter now because again we both are living in the now and we don't really focus on the past.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
And then there's google also.
Roquel laughs.
ROQUEL WEATHERS:
I appreciate you stopping by Desi, thank you and I can't wait to see you on the next season. Iām your girl Roquel Weathers signing out from MIL Network. Kisses Loves!
The scene fades.
