Standing in front of a floor length mirror inside of my Peninsula suite, I stare at my naked body draped in my fuscia colored wedding gown. I graze my hand along the diamond accents admiring my non traditional gown. Letting out a low deep breath a smile pierces through my lips.
Is this real? I have pinched myself a thousand times, harder each time than the prior. This really happened. Alexandria Monica Jacobs is now a Magnum.
I definitely never saw this coming. I thought I escaped that name when things with Jax and I didn't pan out. I was devastated. The man that I thought I was supposed to be with for the rest of my life, just all of a sudden didn't love me anymore. For a long time i racked my brain trying to figure out what changed. Was he finally tired of my long hours away. Did the pressure of my modeling career finally make him crack? I was more in demand than I had ever been when he and I were together. I didn't have time to be a family woman. Movie nights and lunch dates were almost impossible because he was still wrestling and me modeling, our schedules never matched.
I have accepted that this is the reason, mostly because after awhile, I just stopped caring. I had met a new guy, Hassan. And he worked in my industry. So he understood the hours. And that was all i needed. No pressure. We were just two people going with b the flow, which was more my speed…
Until i got pregnant. At that point, my life was over. In the prime of my career, I'm pregnant! Eventually I came around to the idea though. Look at Heidi Klum. She did it successfully, multiple times. So why couldn't i do the same.
But unlike Heidi, I was very unsuccessful. The pressure from my job mixed with Hassan’s possessiveness, I ended up losing my baby. Just when i was getting around to accepting the pregnancy, gone. In an instant.
HOW MUCH WORSE COULD MY LIFE GET!
After that i just cracked. I threw myself into my work harder than i ever did. I never came up for air. I pushed myself to the point of exhaustion. Was hospitalized for a few weeks and i sunk into a really deep depression.
In the midst of all of this, there was Elijah. I actually met him through Rayne. They partied together a lot back in day. But how he weaseled himself into my life from that, i probably couldn't tell you. But we ended up hanging out and hanging out turned to dates. Somehow he was v able to n take me away from all the bad things that were going on without even trying. Initially i never even told him. If my past. I just enjoyed being in his space, and it felt that he enjoyed being in his.
I was in love with him before I knew it. But he was always so sure. So sure, that he put a ring on my finger rather early on. My heart wanted to say yes the minute i saw the ring. But my mind could only think about all the things i went through. It was all still so fresh. How could I trust another man after that? So i pushed him away...Or tried to.
But as days went on, he broke down more walls, until i could no longer deny that this man was it. He was the one.
But why did he have to be a Magnum?!
Walking toward the master bedroom, I stop in n the doorway, watching Elijah as he lay sleeping peacefully. I walk over kissing him lightly on his head, then make my way into the bathroom. I hated that just a few hours after our wedding, i had to be back at work. My agent got word that I'd be in Paris And booked me a wedding shoot. Work was something i never learned how to turn down. But I insisted that i could not shoot all day. This was our time. And i wanted to enjoy it.
Turning on the shower, steam begins to fill the bathroom. I step inside of the gice shower, letting the water stream over my face. I run my fingers through my hair as the water beats on my soft skin. For a while I just stare off in a daze as the hot water washes all my thoughts away. Tilting my head back, i allow the water to spray my face

I chuckle to myself as i begin to wash my body.

It's real!
A smile spreads across my face. I suddenly feel my body get light. The next thing i knew, i was dancing and singing in the shower. My trance was quickly interrupted by the vibration and ringing of my cell on the sink. I jump up out of the shower and dart over to the sink. Putting my ear to the phone, i answer.

Yea. Hello? The car is here? Oh yea I'm actually walking to the elevator as we speak.
Tripping over everything around me i rush to dry myself off as much as i could. I run into the room and throw on the first maxi dress I could reach in my luggage. I kiss my husband once more as he shifts himself into a more comfortable position in his sleep. I then dart toward the door. Opening the door, I am greeted by my security team
They escort me to the front lobby and out of the door. As the doors come open, lights begin flashing at me from every direction. My security team tightens around me as paparazzi storm toward me, screaming at me and shoving cameras in my face. I drop my head grunting to myself.

PAPARAZZI 1:[/b]
Alex! What are you doing here in London!? Are the rumors true? Did you really get married this weekend?
I initially ignore them and continue to follow my team toward my car.
PAPARAZZI 2:[/b]
Did you really marry your ex’s brother?
The driver is already waiting with the door open as i approach the car. I turn toward the paparazzi with a smirk on my face.
ALEX JACOBS-MAGNUM[/b]
Yea. I did.
I hop in the car and the driver closes the door behind me making his way to the driver's seat. I crack my window as paparazzi continue to flash cameras toward me
PAPARAZZI 1:[/b]
Alex where is your husband now? Are you guys having a honeymoon
Come on! Give us something!
I chuckle, smiling at the photographers.

Its four in the morning. Go be with your families. Have some coffee
The driver begins to pull off. I wave my hand out of the mirror, making sure to broadcast the huge diamond on my finger. The photographers chase behind the car trying to get a better shot of my ring.

I chuckle, bringing my hand back into the window and closing it. I then pop in my earbuds and let music fill. My ears. Then i grab my face mask from my bag and put it over my eyes. Leaning back, I drift off into a daze

The Opera in Paris
Yawning, i bury my head drop into my iPhone, trying to keep myself awake with a game. As the town car comes to a stop, the driver climbs out of his car and comes you my door and lets me out. Placing an umbrella over my head, he escorts me to the front gates where i would be shooting. A huge tent is set up with my glam team, who dropped everything they were doing to get me together for the weekend. I probably would've canceled the wedding if these guys couldn't be here. As I enter three tent i am bombarded with a huge hill of presents and gift bags. I blush as a pick up the first card.

My muse! I wish I could've been there personally to personally witness this beautiful occasion. I send all my love along with gifts fit for the star you are!
I blush as i look over at several gift bags donning the Chanel logo.

A familiar voice comes from behind me. My day instantly brightened as I turned to face my stylist/ assistant/ bestie bae/ everything! I don't know where i would be without him. I rush to hug him and kiss him on the cheek.

Oh my god no! Chief! You know me. I do nothing if i feel doubts. We've had over a year to deal with that fact and what people might think. But who cares. I didn't know initially and he and Jax hardly knew each other. And even if i knew from the beginning, i can't say I'd do anything differently. Jax and i have been over for two plus years now. He gave us his blessing. I did this because for the first time in a long time, i woke up smiling everyday. He gave me a reason to smile again. I didn't want to share that moment with anyone else. Just him. I felt like i owed that to him for some reason. But you better trust and believe there will be a huge thing. Does the name Sharon Sacks ring a bell to you?

Walking into our hotel room I saw Elijah standing over the stove cooking something. He lifted his head breathing deeply. I could never get used to the fact he could smell the difference between food being almost done and finished. He shouts back at me.

I walked around the hotel for a moment, noticing the dork had cleaned it before the cleaning crew had even coming in.

Also I am going to need my walking stick if I am getting this pie out. I can see it in the oven but it is hard to gage the distance without burning myself.
Walking over I grabbed the red stick back towards him, holding it out I notice the encryption on it. I help it to his side, and before I could say a word he grabs the stick and uses it to pull me towards him. Reaching up he took his sunglasses off smiling.

It is okay, we got our first mail that was to Mister and Mrs. Magnum. Invited to some family thing, but I framed it, because I am a dork. Right now, I am going to ignore it until we are in our house. And you need pie!
He uses his stick to open the oven, spinning the pie plate with his walking stick brings it to the edge of the oven. Turning off the stove as well he turns back to me, and randomly starts singing.

I take in a whiff of the air as the aroma fills the room
Sweet potato! My favorite! I don't think anyone knows how much these little things meant to me. Those rare moments where I'm just normal. There's no cameras, there's no fans, no working. Just us. Every bite reminds reassures me that I had made the best decision to run away to Paris and make this man mine forever.
He didn't care about Alex J. The super model. Although any man in his right mind would be crazy to not enjoy the privilege of coming into his living room from time to time, to find that it’s filled with models. But the way he smiled at me when i was fresh off the runway, was exactly the same as when he wakes up next to me and my hair was all over the place and i had the worse case of morning breath. That's why when I smell something as simple as warm sweet potato pie, I fall even deeper in love.
For a few moments I just stare at him in awe. I chuckle watching him sing. I walk over to him, coming behind him. Wrapping my arms around his waist i lean in and begin to sing.
